I like to play with my own townies, i wanted them to run the shops and everything, but even with mccc those crumplebottoms keep popping up taking ownership of their stores lol
@bixters@catloverplayer Oh no. I really really hope that this doesn't kill my game - I've been playing this save for years and I'm the fifteenth generation would it only kill this one save, or would it destroy even the saves that I haven't played? If I keep deleting the extra Crumplebottoms that are being generated, will it be ok?
@Simalleyaile yeah I made that bug report last night. It's kind of comforting to hear that I'm not the only one with this issue, but also weird that not that many people are experiencing this. I wonder why.
Ok I have figured out what is going on (but not why). Every time my sim purchases something from the garden shop, a new Agatha or Agnes is created by the game to tend the store. I had 7 Agneses in my game, then I sent my sim to buy something from the garden shop (Agnes was tending it) and straight afterwards I checked manage worlds and there are now 8 Agneses in my game.
I think this must be an MCCC issue because I have found that the problem occurs in my game when MCCC is installed but not otherwise
Did you update MCCC yet? Just curious as he just updated it yesterday. I haven’t really checked my game again to see if I for sure have this issue but I didn’t put it back in my game yet.
I’ll keep you posted. May have been a sim that generated that looked a little like Agatha. Household I saw wasn't named crumplebottom I do remember that for sure.
@Akl500P yes my MCCC is updated. In my game the new Agathas and Agneses appear in household manager and the name of the households is not 'Crumplebottom' but some random surname but it's definitely them.

Not MCCC, happening to me also, I have 0 mods.

@To7m oh really? That's so weird because when I tested it out it was happening with MCCC but not without - that might have been a coincidence though?
Not sure, but i currently have two walking around lol
—T
@To7m can you see them in your manage households? And have you ever had mods in that save?
One I could, the other I couldn’t, I had to add her to my house hold and delete her manually.
—T
Edit; no mods, I don’t use them. Never have.
What I have found (using MCCC) is that when this glitch occurs there will always be one Agatha and one Agnes which are hidden households that you cannot see in manage households and the 'extras' will be viewable in manage households so that fits with what I'm seeing in my game.
Interesting that it's happening in games which have never had any mods at all.
Well this is really strange. I've tested this again and in another new save I only have one Agnes and one Agatha (both of which are not visible in manage households) UNTIL I put in MCCC. So, it seems like even if it's possible to get this glitch without any mods at all, MCCC can definitely be a huge trigger for it.

My game generated 2 Rahuls. One was a teen and the other a young adult. The teen was the one that was the grocery delivery boy. Also know I know when I tried to find the romance option i couldn’t the first time, it was because I was talking to the teen one and didn’t know (I barely look above their heads lol). My Sim married the YA one and I changed his name to Asa.
AHA!!! I believe I have found the issue. I opened the 'mc_cmd_center' file (the notepad file which for me is in Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods/Deaderpool) and found the following entries:
There are no earlier entries so I am not able to check further back but it seems to me that if I could go further back, I would find similar entries, accounting for all of my 'surplus' Agathas and Agneses.
Not sure if MCCC is just recording the issue or if it's actually responsible for the issue, but this seems to be an indication that MCCC is doing this (along with the fact that this glitch happens for me when I have MCCC installed and not otherwise).
