Kauwela Bay is a beach sub-neighborhood far away from Sulani where Other Mermaids, Scuba divers, and the best beach surfers in the world come to stay. This Kauwela Bay is similar to Sunlit Tides from the Sims 3 and Waimea Bay an actual location from Hawaiian Islands in Real Life. This also a expanded version of Island Living for the Sims 4 that there not included.

Scuba Diving

Kauwela Bay has unique features that are not available in other worlds by default. For instance, it's the only world that has diving areas for Sims to scuba dive and explore underwater, They are also called Dive Lots and are the enhanced versions to Snorkeling from Island Living. Your mermaid sims can also drive into the waters.

There are diving areas in Kauwela Bay for your sims to scuba dive

Pearl Shore (Scuba Diving level 1)

Surfari Reef (Scuba Diving level 2)

Vampire Lord's Locker (Scuba Diving level 3)

Mermaid Paradise (Scuba Diving level 4)

Skeeter's Reef (Scuba Diving level 5)

Shipwreck Cove (Scuba Diving level 6)

Davy's Underwater Cavern (Scuba Diving level 7) (Also an Underwater Cave that Sims can Explore)

Tagic Clown's Abyss (Scuba Diving level 8) (In Sims 3 Lore that includes in the Sims 4 that this diving area is where the famous Tragic Clown died by drowning in his own tears that created the diving area, The Abyss used to be an island before it got sunk down by the clown's tears.)

Kraken's Deep (Scuba Diving level 9)

Vortex Bottom (Scuba Diving level 10) (A Deep sea diving water that has a legendary treasure down there, But please lookout for the sea dragon who is guarding it)

The Kraken
The Most thing about the Kauwela Bay is Kraken sightings. The Kraken will occasionally appear underwater when the boat, a driver, a mermaid sim and a Surfer is in the middle of the ocean for a long time, and may attack Sims if they are on a boat or not. The Kraken will only appear in Kauwela Bay due to the depth of the oceans there. If a Sim has the "Friend of the Kraken" lifetime reward, they can click on an idling boat aside and select "Release the Kraken!".

Sharks
Sims may encounter sharks on the surface or while they are diving in a dive spot. These sharks are different than those encountered underwater. Sharks will only appear on lots that have a shark spawner. There is a 5% chance that sharks may attack Sims, an additional +2% chance for each meat and fish inside the Sim's inventory, and an additional +20% chance if the Sim watches the sharks. If the Sim loses the fight, they will get the "Mauled by Shark" and "Gasping for Air" moodlets.

Surfing

Sims can also have the opinion go to the ocean waves at the beach for Surfing in Kauwela Bay or Go to The Wave Station for Indoor Surfing at Fun Center Lot. They can in the ocean waves or the Wave Station known as Mermaid Shore's Flowrider to Surf like Perform Cutback Trick, Perform Handstand Trick, Perform Hang Ten Trick or you can just watch.

There are also surfing location with famous waves that Sims can surf in with they don't want to use the Wave Station.

Goldbreads Trench (Beach Wave) (Surfing level 1)

Skeeter Lane (Beach Wave) (Surfing level 2)

Father Winter's Waterslide (Beach Wave) (Surfing level 3)

Black Pearl (Medium Big Wave) (Surfing level 4)

Wipe Out (Big Wave) (Surfing level 5)

Tagic Clown's Sorrow (Large Big Wave) (Surfing level 6)

Kraken Splash (Large Big Wave) (Surfing level 7)

Blacknight (Huge Wave) (Surfing level 8)

Howler Of The Surfer Moon (Huge Wave) (Surfing level 9)

Plumbob Bess (Giant Wave) (Surfing level 10)

Plumbob Planet Laser Tag - A recreational shooting sport where participants use infrared-emitting light guns to tag designated targets. Infrared-sensitive signaling devices are commonly worn by each player to register hits and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played. Have Battle Royale matches, Capture the flag or Domination matches for your sims will enjoy. You can make your own lazer tag maze with Indoor equipment by build mode and than buy mode. In indoor play, a visible light combined with theatrical fog typically provide the visual effect of firing.

No offense, but I liked how @FreezerBunnyCowplant suggested this idea better. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/17923590#Comment_17923590

Even @Hope8 and @LillCC7 started the Greece themed world. They want it to have these areas:
Area 1: Santorini with a view over the blue ocean. Restaurants, houses with indoor/outdoor pool. Round houses with blue roof! A real vacation place!
    - Area 2: A town with a lot of historical places. Here you can go hiking to old castles and take pictures.
    - Area 3: Even if this is in Italia, it would be a cool with an area like Venice. With building surrounded by water with these special rowing boats. And also small bridges to get around in the town by foot.
    - Area 4: Tiny Island area with small huts. Here you can instead of hiking you can go island hopping around and explore new places.

This is where @Hope8 and @LilCC7 made the Coastal Living/Greece world suggestion: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/17726246#Comment_17726246

This was very well thought out. I think you would need to change the location bc it is too much like Island Living. If you want to bring back the expanded arcades maybe have it somewhere with a boardwalk area. I love the idea of surfing. You could have an area with an Atlantic style boardwalk, then another area with traditional stilted beach houses and varying waves for surfing. Then another area for scuba diving, houseboats, and your hidden beach.

All this with a Castaway Shipped Wrecked on the Island where the sim can't use their phone & the sim won't magically turn up in festivals & other parties. Also, the sim could find a magical lamb/bottle with a Genie inside it. :p

Yessssssssssss I NEED an expansion like this!!!
Island living is still one of my top packs. This sounds like a dream. For those saying it should have been Island Living well it wasn't. And it never will be. Island living is long done. It seems most people prefer to have "nothing" because it wasn't added sooner than to get it later and pay (not by force but by choice) if interested.
It's a POV I can't agree with. Give it to me. I want it.
Zombies, oh please oh please give us zombies!! :'(

It sounds like a copy of Island Living, NOT something completely original except the arcade games and Kraken concept.

Agreed. If someone wants the other things in the "suggested" pack, then it should have a different main theme than another primarily "water" pack.

I don’t want this to be an Expansion Pack also. Especially when we could have a werewolf/werevamp theme and totally original ideas, such as a fairytale themed expansion pack, an anime themed expansion pack, and a superhero/supervillain themed expansion pack.

Definitely sounds like Island Living 2.0.

I'm all for a coastal town, but not a tropical one. More like a city on the beach front type world that has nighlight and boardwalks, better beach activities, houseboats, etc.
