Juno Birch prefers playing Sims 2 and 3. There is a recent Wired article where she recommends playing the earlier versions and finds Sims 4 to be lacking in charm. Love Juno but I can see why she was not chosen.
She's a drag queen, who competed on the season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race, and won season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. She's also a musician and has her own cosmetics brand, and a hilarious show on Youtube and Wow Presents Plus called UNHhhh with fellow drag queen Katya, and also a lot of other fun Youtube videos. The man performing as Trixie is called Brian Firkus.

It makes sense that they would book Trixie Mattel for this. She has been one of the most well-known drag queens for years now, especially for the younger generation. Ofc she will bring a very big audience to the stream.
Btw ofc a lot of people here won't know her unless they are in the LGBTQ community or at least into drag, gay culture. But that's only normal and I also think fitting for this event.

I'm only familiar with US celebrities that are regular fixtures in big Hollywood movies... like Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep. I don't watch any kind of reality tv shows, nor do I watch much USA television in general, so most of these Sims' celebrity collabs leave me having to google who these people are.

No I hadn't heard of her but I don't really get on social media or watch much televion/youtube as I once use to.
Sadly I'm working so I'll miss it. Hopefully someone will post the highlights.
