@GraceyManor I have to agree with everyone who’s said that the person who argued with you over inaccuracy was out of line. Lots of films and TV shows have historical inaccuracies in them! What a pain in the butt about your graphics going to mush.
Still waiting for my new PC here... *sigh* I have some ideas for what I want to do when I can play again. One of them would be to experiment with the scuba diving skill/the mermaid life state. I’ve been researching how to build a custom dive lot. They only work on worlds that have deep enough oceans. It’d be a cool storyline for one of my families (I have an idea which one) to move to a new world, maybe Sunlit Tides, since you can build a custom dive lot there. Isla Paradiso is too buggy! I know ellacharmed has made a fixed version of Isla Paradiso but the installation instructions look kinda complicated to me and I wouldn’t want to mess it up. Plus it’d be fun to try and build my own dive lot. I’ve only had one of my Sims become a mermaid before.
Having computer shutdown issues again when gaming. Updated drivers like last time, but no luck. Now I’m looking for solutions, hopefully something sticks.
EDIT: Whatever was wrong was fixed. I did several things so not sure what fixed it.

Keylee Anderson came to Greg’s home, she wanted to talk business. The family was interested in staying permanent in Greg’s River, would build a home here and would also be interested in investing in some community lots. All this would off course generate additional tax income for the village so she thought it would be of mutual interest to anyone. Who would be able to say no to a lady like Mrs. Anderson?, Well, at least Greg’s talked with Jenny first.

Kent is married to 39 years old Keylee and has the 17 years old twins Kim and Kiara. Being very new to the village he has no real friends besides his family and their dog Chick. He has at least met a few villagers including the leaders Greg and Jenny.
Being a skilled engineer, he has some strong practical skills like handiness, innovation and creativity. He was in high demand in “Ent” and the household have been doing quite well financially.

Brendon is married to 23 years old Marble. They have the 21-month-old girl Ivery. Besides his family his best friend is Jenny Richards. He is also on fine terms with Norma Dahl and Jane Harper. Recently he has developed a friendship with newcomer Kiara Anderson. Brandon is known to the a bit of a flirt, but he is actually faithful and very romantic towards his wife.
Although Pegasus Café was donated to the village by Marbles farther, the family is responsible the operation, and Brendon is now a top-level bartender and host. Besides the café the family produce some fine vegetables. Brendon is known for his great Tomato plants, the roots are fine for oil production, but it is the fruits that people talk about. His apples are also great.

Chapter 11.4 - July Summer Holiday - Day 1 & 2
As june turns to july, Solvej entertains Rune with some guitar playing. Patrik is asleep and so is the Chitrakaar-Bråheim family. They (not counting Patrik) have to get their rest, because Leya has decided that her little family (herself, Gaute and Bodil) should spend their summer vacation visiting her parents in Bewickton! Bewickton is another coastal community located on the west coast of Simbria (where Sprottenham is located on the east coast), so a quick ride to the regional airport, a couple of plane trips of about 1 hour each, and finishing the last stretch with a rental car from the airport in Cyme Ixotic, and they should be there...
At the breakfast table the first july morning.
Gaute: Once we get back from Bewickton I think we should start looking for our own place to stay.. especially now that both you and Solvej is pregnant and all. I feel it's starting to get a little tight in here...
Gaute: And I don't like this flirting that goes in between you and Patrik..

I did play a little bit on this save file with another family (did not save), and then they did just that – found another house. So I take that, and Gaute talking about homes, as a clear indication that they actually want to move out and have a place of their own. That makes sense, because it is probably a little cramped with two families in the same household, so I will have them looking for a new home once they get back.
Leya: Bodil! .. You're going to get a new brother or sister!!

..but they didn't make it to Bewickton until night time, because of some delay during transfer at the airport in Anilam.. of course.. but hey, the airline company didn't loose their luggage, so it's not all bad!
Leya is really excited to finally be back in her old hometown.
It was to late for them to go visit Leya's parents at this hour, of course, so they went straight to bed in their hotel room at Bewickton Downtown Hotel, just above Drea's Beauty Salon and Tattoo.
They had rented the family suite on the top floor, and the hotel room was nice enough, except that it could be a little noisy from the dance club, „The Century Fish“, just across the street.
Day two - visiting Leyas' parents
Bodil was the first to wake up and make use of the hotel rooms rather limited kitchen facilities. No proper cooking oven, just a microwave in the corner, which probably meant that they would either be eating out, or having dinner over at Leya's parents' house.
Oh, clever girl, discoving something I had forgotten about.. the hotel actually has it's own kitchen for all guests to use. It's only the hotel rooms that have no cooking oven.
Bodil is a real clever girl, doing homework on summer vacation..
And after breakfast it is time for them to visit Leyas' parents. And wow, amazing, their rental car looks just like their car at home!
This is the home of Leyas' parents and where Leya grew up with her two sisters and two brothers. Hmm, I see no cars parked outside, I hope they are at home..
Leya is very happy to finally be back home and see her mom again. She can see her mom through the window. Leya: Hello, mom!! Here I am!!
But its her father Deepak that comes to open the door. Deepak is just like Leya, a painter and an artist. And their home is very well decorated..
Deepak: Welcome back home, Leya! Nice to see you again! Come on in!
Then they all go inside, and Deepak and Leya naturally have a conversation about art.
Gaute and Bodil are strangers to Laranya and Deepak (yes, it's been that long since last time Leya was home).
Gautes first words to Deepak expresses a need to work out. Gaute and Leya are completely different characters, which is why it is so wonderful that they became a couple.
Deepak is understanding towards Gautes' need for exercise, he has a son that is just the same way. Then it is Bodil's turn to talk.
„You have a vey nice home“, says Bodil. She has never seen a house this decorated with paintings before.
Deepak: Your father, Gaute, he reminds me very much of my oldest son, your uncle, Bhavan. He is a fire fighter and very brave and strong. I'm sure the two will like each other.
Bodil: Oh, I would like to meet uncle Bhavan as well. I have never spoken to a real fire fighter before, but Gaute is only my step father. My father is Glenn, and he is a football player. He is also very strong and brave.
Deepak: Oh, I see, I'm sorry, I thought Gaute was your father. You would probably also like to meet your aunt, Nitya. She is like your mother, a very talented painter!
Then everyone except Deepak go upstairs. Laranya is chatting with someone on the computer. Gaute locates the stereo to do an extreme dance and Bodil apparantly has more homework to do. Poor kid..
Leya has located the tv and the romance channel.

Bodil: When we get back to Sprottenham, Gaute says we will buy a new home. I hope it is one just as nice as this one!

It looks like Leya is being a little raunchy too, she goes for a naked dip in her parents bubble bath. Leyas parents are quite rich nowadays, but the bubble bath in its own bath house is a recent addition. They didn't have all that luxury when Leya grew up.

Nitya is also a painter, so she goes to do what she likes to do best, to paint in her room.

Something must have happened here that I didn't catch, because now Laranya is apologising to Gaute for some reason. She has the flirtatious trait, so maybe she flirted with him.
And then Gaute proceeds to worship Laranya. You guys are strange. She is your mother-in-law, not some Hindu Goddess! As far as I know anyway..
Leya reveals to her father that she is pregnant. This picture is a little dim, because Deepak has the frugal personality trait and constantly keeps turning off the lights..
Then late at night, another one comes home. This is Bhavan, the fire fighter. He is 22 years old, and also still lives at home.
Where have you been, Bhavan, and why are you coming home so late? :P (It's 2:30 in the night).
Then the clock turns three, and Deepak thinks it's time for them to return to their hotel and they are pushed off the lot. Bodil sitting in the front seat is really tired, so it was probably about time they left.. nighty night.
Got the second dose of Moderna yesterday morning and I feel completely fine. Didn't have any issues this time, compared to dose one. Still been playing Sims 3, when I can but nothing I'm sharing here yet. Tonight, I'm getting rid of CC I don't want and then downloading more items for my story. Here's some comments for all of you.
@GraceyManor That would have to be hard for Belle, being in a different time period and away from her family. Only her ancestors would be around at that point in time.

I agree with everyone else that commented, they were out of line. It's your story, your rules. Really, like you said, with Belle being from the future, she'd probably wear the white anyway. Heck, you could say that with her being in the past, she introduced wearing white wedding dresses anyway. She already changed the course of the future by marrying Arthur so it makes sense.
Kind of figured Lancelot would try something with Belle.

I allowed myself to get distracted yesterday. I decided to use one of my old builds to test the new Sim State mod.
I made myself a new sim just for the project and wished I didn't decide to do that as it took so long. My computer is complaining these days. I think it's getting too full of stuff. Anyway, here's Alfina
She's a fairy and she inherited a small fortune and was able to buy a nice little business with a huge residence above and a barn for her still to be acquired horses. It has a greenhouse full of vegetables that she can use to make preserves to sell in her business. She's still learning the ropes.

The Bistro set is used in this build. I have set the menu to provide meals.
I didn't notice any customers ordering food this way during the short time I had it running in game yesterday. I thought maybe it didn't work now with the new mod in place but this morning Alfina was hungry and autonomously sat down and read the menu.
When Alfina finally decided what she wanted to eat she placed her order with the chef. There is a mod that adds a waiter but I don't have it so the chef takes orders here as well as preparing the meal.
The Chef prepares the meal in the second kitchen set up using the Bistro objects.
I am still having problems keeping customers to the areas I want customers to be. I have locked doors but they seem to just go where they please. I find the hired staff prefer to chat with Alfina and I generally find them upstairs in the living quarters. This doesn't seem to have any detrimental affect on sales though as sims arrive on the lot and buy stuff. The arrival of customers didn't happen without the mod.

New Narrator: Haruo getting tired of playing Skate or Die on his laptop decided to fall asleep on his bunk. Luckily he's a very tidy sim and decided that he was going to put his desk under the bunkbed so that he could conserve on space in that room (like what is he gonna put there anyways? A pool table?
New Narrator: Bebe on the other hand went back to irradiating bugs to turn them into plasma bugs. I'm sure the bugs are getting really tired of getting zapped with ionizing radiation. One of these days she's going to end up with Mothra.
New Narrator: And...well, River went off to sell some of her paintings.
New Narrator: Haruo had some pie. And then promptly gave himself a concussion while conjuring.
New Narrator: The next morning was an early morning after all, they wanted to get busy and keep producing things that would keep the roof over their head. Bebe went to nuke more bugs; River headed to the alchemy station to figure out more potions.
New Narrator: ...and well Haruo, he stayed up in his room to keep out of River and Bebe's way. And then he headed off to buy books at the bookstore.

anything more than a little pain in the arm before sleep. Good, you got your game working again.
They say it's about exactly the 24 hour mark that it up and wallops you. Has it been exactly 24 hours since your shot yet? My wife and I got Pfizer too. Waiting on our second doses which should be about August since they said that they are lessening the time between first and second doses now.

@Silverofdreams30 That's how I was with my first dose of Moderna. I had a sore arm and was a little bit run down the next day. However, the shot itself didn't even hurt.

***Working again the next four days but I did get get some of my CC looked at. So far, I've kept everything but I know there were a few that had issues that I want to rid out. One left a bald spot on a the Sims head in-game but was fine in CAS. I ended up deleting that one. Other than that, nothing else going on.

I got walloped with major fatigue and a bit of congestion at the 24 hour mark, but at least I'm protected 1/2 way...now from this. They say the second shot symptoms are worse. Wonder how its gonna feel for me.
But then again...there may be the age difference too. I'm no longer a spring chicken. (Just realized this when my second son is set to go to university...in fall of 2022)

I’ve been researching how to build a custom dive lot. They only work on worlds that have deep enough oceans. It’d be a cool storyline for one of my families (I have an idea which one) to move to a new world, maybe Sunlit Tides, since you can build a custom dive lot there. Isla Paradiso is too buggy! I know ellacharmed has made a fixed version of Isla Paradiso but the installation instructions look kinda complicated to me and I wouldn’t want to mess it up. Plus it’d be fun to try and build my own dive lot. I’ve only had one of my Sims become a mermaid before.
EDIT: Whatever was wrong was fixed. I did several things so not sure what fixed it.

Episode 62 – Apology – March 2728 part 1
Keylee Anderson came to Greg’s home, she wanted to talk business. The family was interested in staying permanent in Greg’s River, would build a home here and would also be interested in investing in some community lots. All this would off course generate additional tax income for the village so she thought it would be of mutual interest to anyone. Who would be able to say no to a lady like Mrs. Anderson?, Well, at least Greg’s talked with Jenny first.
Jenny and Jane had to face the facts, there was no other way than take a confrontation and talk about those famous flowers. Jenny explained that it was all just a joke and she had expected everyone to know that, she had not and would never touch Charles, at least not while Jane was sweet on him.
Jane reluctantly accepted the apology and what she thought was a weird and somewhat silly explanation.
While the Trade station was closed down due to heavy snow. Free settler Amin Nayan from Sammy Jones Farm, did a popular keyboard performance, outside the station.

Being a skilled engineer, he has some strong practical skills like handiness, innovation and creativity. He was in high demand in “Ent” and the household have been doing quite well financially.
Brendon Beach-Gentry 25 years
Brendon is married to 23 years old Marble. They have the 21-month-old girl Ivery. Besides his family his best friend is Jenny Richards. He is also on fine terms with Norma Dahl and Jane Harper. Recently he has developed a friendship with newcomer Kiara Anderson. Brandon is known to the a bit of a flirt, but he is actually faithful and very romantic towards his wife.
Although Pegasus Café was donated to the village by Marbles farther, the family is responsible the operation, and Brendon is now a top-level bartender and host. Besides the café the family produce some fine vegetables. Brendon is known for his great Tomato plants, the roots are fine for oil production, but it is the fruits that people talk about. His apples are also great.

Chapter 11.4 - July Summer Holiday - Day 1 & 2
As june turns to july, Solvej entertains Rune with some guitar playing. Patrik is asleep and so is the Chitrakaar-Bråheim family. They (not counting Patrik) have to get their rest, because Leya has decided that her little family (herself, Gaute and Bodil) should spend their summer vacation visiting her parents in Bewickton! Bewickton is another coastal community located on the west coast of Simbria (where Sprottenham is located on the east coast), so a quick ride to the regional airport, a couple of plane trips of about 1 hour each, and finishing the last stretch with a rental car from the airport in Cyme Ixotic, and they should be there...
At the breakfast table the first july morning.
Gaute: Once we get back from Bewickton I think we should start looking for our own place to stay.. especially now that both you and Solvej is pregnant and all. I feel it's starting to get a little tight in here...
Gaute: And I don't like this flirting that goes in between you and Patrik..
Leya immediately chokes on her food.

The plane didn't crash, and they arrived safely at the airport in Cyme Ixotic..
..but they didn't make it to Bewickton until night time, because of some delay during transfer at the airport in Anilam.. of course.. but hey, the airline company didn't loose their luggage, so it's not all bad!
Leya is really excited to finally be back in her old hometown.
It was to late for them to go visit Leya's parents at this hour, of course, so they went straight to bed in their hotel room at Bewickton Downtown Hotel, just above Drea's Beauty Salon and Tattoo.
They had rented the family suite on the top floor, and the hotel room was nice enough, except that it could be a little noisy from the dance club, „The Century Fish“, just across the street.
Day two - visiting Leyas' parents
Bodil was the first to wake up and make use of the hotel rooms rather limited kitchen facilities. No proper cooking oven, just a microwave in the corner, which probably meant that they would either be eating out, or having dinner over at Leya's parents' house.
Oh, clever girl, discoving something I had forgotten about.. the hotel actually has it's own kitchen for all guests to use. It's only the hotel rooms that have no cooking oven.
Bodil is a real clever girl, doing homework on summer vacation..
And after breakfast it is time for them to visit Leyas' parents. And wow, amazing, their rental car looks just like their car at home!
This is the home of Leyas' parents and where Leya grew up with her two sisters and two brothers. Hmm, I see no cars parked outside, I hope they are at home..
Leya is very happy to finally be back home and see her mom again. She can see her mom through the window.
Leya: Hello, mom!! Here I am!!
But its her father Deepak that comes to open the door. Deepak is just like Leya, a painter and an artist. And their home is very well decorated..
Deepak: Welcome back home, Leya! Nice to see you again! Come on in!
Then they all go inside, and Deepak and Leya naturally have a conversation about art.
Gaute and Bodil are strangers to Laranya and Deepak (yes, it's been that long since last time Leya was home).
Gautes first words to Deepak expresses a need to work out. Gaute and Leya are completely different characters, which is why it is so wonderful that they became a couple.
Deepak is understanding towards Gautes' need for exercise, he has a son that is just the same way. Then it is Bodil's turn to talk.
„You have a vey nice home“, says Bodil. She has never seen a house this decorated with paintings before.
Deepak: Your father, Gaute, he reminds me very much of my oldest son, your uncle, Bhavan. He is a fire fighter and very brave and strong. I'm sure the two will like each other.
Bodil: Oh, I would like to meet uncle Bhavan as well. I have never spoken to a real fire fighter before, but Gaute is only my step father. My father is Glenn, and he is a football player. He is also very strong and brave.
Deepak: Oh, I see, I'm sorry, I thought Gaute was your father. You would probably also like to meet your aunt, Nitya. She is like your mother, a very talented painter!
Then everyone except Deepak go upstairs. Laranya is chatting with someone on the computer. Gaute locates the stereo to do an extreme dance and Bodil apparantly has more homework to do. Poor kid..
Leya has located the tv and the romance channel.
Deepak stayed downstairs to finish a painting.
Bodil: When we get back to Sprottenham, Gaute says we will buy a new home. I hope it is one just as nice as this one!
„Oh, thank you little Bodil. I am sure it will be“ says grandmother Laranya.
Bodil: And then Patrik can stop thinking about flirting with mom. He's an #$%&#@, I don't like him!
Gaute:Bodil, don't talk like that when we are visiting grandma...!
Gaute couldn't say he disagreed with the statement sometimes, but he couldn't let Bodil use such a language..
Laryana: Haha, you're a raunchy little one aren't you! But you should listen to Gaute, and and not use such foul words about others!
It looks like Leya is being a little raunchy too, she goes for a naked dip in her parents bubble bath. Leyas parents are quite rich nowadays, but the bubble bath in its own bath house is a recent addition. They didn't have all that luxury when Leya grew up.
Deepak: Oh, goody, goody, goody, look at little Bodil, goody, goody, goody!
Bodil: Uggh, grandpa...
Laranya: Oh, careful! You almost ran into me there!
Look at grandpa run! Bodil just started a game of tag with Deepak.

And then someone else is home. This is Nitya, Leyas younger sister, that Deepak talked about earlier. She is 21 years old and still lives at home with her parents.
Nitya is also a painter, so she goes to do what she likes to do best, to paint in her room.

Something must have happened here that I didn't catch, because now Laranya is apologising to Gaute for some reason. She has the flirtatious trait, so maybe she flirted with him.
And then Gaute proceeds to worship Laranya. You guys are strange. She is your mother-in-law, not some Hindu Goddess! As far as I know anyway..
Leya reveals to her father that she is pregnant. This picture is a little dim, because Deepak has the frugal personality trait and constantly keeps turning off the lights..
Then late at night, another one comes home. This is Bhavan, the fire fighter. He is 22 years old, and also still lives at home.
Where have you been, Bhavan, and why are you coming home so late? :P (It's 2:30 in the night).
Then the clock turns three, and Deepak thinks it's time for them to return to their hotel and they are pushed off the lot. Bodil sitting in the front seat is really tired, so it was probably about time they left.. nighty night.

I agree with everyone else that commented, they were out of line. It's your story, your rules. Really, like you said, with Belle being from the future, she'd probably wear the white anyway. Heck, you could say that with her being in the past, she introduced wearing white wedding dresses anyway. She already changed the course of the future by marrying Arthur so it makes sense.
Kind of figured Lancelot would try something with Belle.

I made myself a new sim just for the project and wished I didn't decide to do that as it took so long. My computer is complaining these days. I think it's getting too full of stuff. Anyway, here's Alfina
She's a fairy and she inherited a small fortune and was able to buy a nice little business with a huge residence above and a barn for her still to be acquired horses. It has a greenhouse full of vegetables that she can use to make preserves to sell in her business. She's still learning the ropes.

The Bistro set is used in this build. I have set the menu to provide meals.
I didn't notice any customers ordering food this way during the short time I had it running in game yesterday. I thought maybe it didn't work now with the new mod in place but this morning Alfina was hungry and autonomously sat down and read the menu.
When Alfina finally decided what she wanted to eat she placed her order with the chef. There is a mod that adds a waiter but I don't have it so the chef takes orders here as well as preparing the meal.
The Chef prepares the meal in the second kitchen set up using the Bistro objects.
I am still having problems keeping customers to the areas I want customers to be. I have locked doors but they seem to just go where they please. I find the hired staff prefer to chat with Alfina and I generally find them upstairs in the living quarters. This doesn't seem to have any detrimental affect on sales though as sims arrive on the lot and buy stuff. The arrival of customers didn't happen without the mod.

Chapter Twelve: "The Watcher Gets Bored"
New Narrator: Well, never let it be said that life in the house that plasma bugs built is dull. (no, the plasma bugs didn't pull out hammer and nails or any other assorted construction tools to build it - it was that their little lives being thrown into a radiation bath and subsequent dissection by those psychos at the science lab brought in enough money to build the house). However Franz (the Rottweiler) wanted someone to play ball with him and the other mutt wanted Kibbles n' Bits...n' bits and bits...now if you have that advertisement running in your head...you're welcome).
New Narrator: Haruo getting tired of playing Skate or Die on his laptop decided to fall asleep on his bunk. Luckily he's a very tidy sim and decided that he was going to put his desk under the bunkbed so that he could conserve on space in that room (like what is he gonna put there anyways? A pool table?
New Narrator: Bebe on the other hand went back to irradiating bugs to turn them into plasma bugs. I'm sure the bugs are getting really tired of getting zapped with ionizing radiation. One of these days she's going to end up with Mothra.
New Narrator: And...well, River went off to sell some of her paintings.
New Narrator: Haruo had some pie. And then promptly gave himself a concussion while conjuring.
New Narrator: The next morning was an early morning after all, they wanted to get busy and keep producing things that would keep the roof over their head. Bebe went to nuke more bugs; River headed to the alchemy station to figure out more potions.
New Narrator: ...and well Haruo, he stayed up in his room to keep out of River and Bebe's way. And then he headed off to buy books at the bookstore.
New Narrator: To delay his way home, he decided that he was going to go ahead and bike home but on his way home, he decided that he was going to kill some hours at the elixir consignment store - the emporium of the weird occult.
Watcher: I am so bored...I swear if nothing happens any time soon...
One of the Wolff kids: "OWWWWWWWWW!!!!" (sound effects TZZAAAAAAP!!!)

They say it's about exactly the 24 hour mark that it up and wallops you. Has it been exactly 24 hours since your shot yet? My wife and I got Pfizer too. Waiting on our second doses which should be about August since they said that they are lessening the time between first and second doses now.

@Nikkei_Simmer Yeah, it had been over 24 hours at the time I posted. Currently, it is around 49 hours later and I still feel fine. Just a very slight pain in my upper arm but less than it was yesterday.
***Working again the next four days but I did get get some of my CC looked at. So far, I've kept everything but I know there were a few that had issues that I want to rid out. One left a bald spot on a the Sims head in-game but was fine in CAS. I ended up deleting that one. Other than that, nothing else going on.
@Brandontaylor - That's good that you haven't gotten the side-effects. Still at least you're protected now. Still waiting for our second shots.
I got walloped with major fatigue and a bit of congestion at the 24 hour mark, but at least I'm protected 1/2 way...now from this. They say the second shot symptoms are worse. Wonder how its gonna feel for me.
