    Sims 2 Crashing.

    I just got a new PC and now I can't seem to get my Sims 2 game to work at all. I've already tried the GraphicsRules Maker and 4G patch but so far nothing has worked.

    I'm seeing this when I click on the neighborhood options.

    It also crashes if I try to load any of the neighborhoods. I have very little hope of fixing this but I thought maybe I would just post here and see if anybody else has experienced this issue and fixed it.

      Nevermind it's fixed now thanks to a wonderful simmer on twitter.

      I have no what was originally causing the problem for me but in the end it got fixed simply by deleting the entire Sims 2 Ultimate Collection folder from the EA Games folder in My Documents and letting the game generating a brand new one.
