    • Excavation Sites
    • Explore Hidden Coves
    • Help Regrow Coral

    Mermaid Addition
    • Call On Underwater Sea Creatures

    • Attract Fish for Lifetime Points
    • Sea Craft Skill: Craft Furniture Out of Seashells or Other findings (combined with Eco Lifestyle machines)

    • Moon Spot to Host Mermaid Gathering

No offense, I think that what you are suggesting should be added as a patch for Island Living instead of being a separate expansion pack. Just my opinion, though. Since Island Living already has mermaids.

Hi, that’s why I stated addition instead of just saying mermaids.

Oh okay, I didn't know. Is the Underwater Exploration also going to be an addition to Island Living as well as the mermaid addition? It would make more sense to have both your ideas be an patch of Island Living, in my opinion. No offense, just wondering.

That idea is separate from Island Living. Reason being is because it’s about underwater than what is included in Island living.

Why not just update the supernatural pack from the sims 3 and add things like changelings (can turn into any animal of their choosing), minotaur's, angels, demons, and maybe some other things that someone else comes up with?

Don't forget werewolves and werewolf/vampire hybrids. We definitely need werewolves and werewolf/vampire hybrids in the game. It's NOT fair that vampires are included but NOT werewolves and werewolf/vampire hybrids. I don't think that angels and demons will be added because that's controversial when it comes to religion.

Soooo, this might be super girly, buuuut
(and on the other hand - this is not meant to be demeaning, but for fun gameplay)

    The Sims 4: Your Style
Includes mall, businesses etc. Works with other packs, so you also can have a café.
Idea: shopping (including bags!), get your nails done, visit the hair dresser etc.

The idea: Your sims can get confidence boost when buying stuff, getting their hair cut etc. They might have a weekly routine - but if doing it like every day, they can get quite obsessed - split ends and a broken nail can make them sad or hysterical. If simmers are vaint, they might judge someone on split ends or what so ever.
On the other hand, when not being obsessed, there are possibilities to give sims some happy hours, maybe with a bonding trip with a friend.
Your sims can develop different characteristics depending on their behavior.
Well, either way, I see possibilities for gameplay drama, haha.

@Dasiy Great ideas! I think it would be really cool to see sims practicing all the styles of dance that would come with dance studio :).

@trineloe That is such a fun idea! I think the world would be very pretty and sims getting into routines would be more realistic .

    -Werewolf Gamepack
_Farming Expansionpack (may be with fairies? I do not cater to much for those, but more occult better this game can be)
-Cars (return of the school buses, work carpool, fire trucks, police car etc...)
  • Franko30Franko30 Posts: 64 Member

I'd love to see a pack or kit that expands on the socials/parties available for sims. Similar to the Celebrations pack from Sims 2, which added new build and buy options and interaction options for weddings, birthdays, etc. I don't feel there are too many options in the game currently. I'd like to see a new party planner career or event-specific venues and more in-depth event planning along with it though it if were a pack!

I'd also just like to see some of the older packs expanded on. I love how interactive a lot of the newer careers are and would love to see that for some of the older ones, and maybe a pack that expands on part time career options for sims who are a little less career-minded. I also really loved the mountain climbing expedition from Snowy Escape, so I'd love to see more expeditions added around the Sim worlds and especially somewhere like Strangerville or Granite Falls.

@Pun_ghoul I agree with all of those ideas :). I think expanding on packs would be pretty cool, as well as party planning. I would love a party planner career personally :D.

Here's my idea: a pack based on gaming:
    It would include:
    modular computers
gaming and pop culture deco-or at least spoofs
maybe a couple more consoles each with different games
definitely more furniture gamers would use
    maybe an esports channel
a debate best console interaction and a debate pc vs console interaction
moodlets that occur after playing games too long
In my mind the title would be Gamer's Delight, but it doesn't have to be that.

it’s not so much of a pack but just ideas for the game in general such as..

    -ultra sounds
    -gender reveals
-custody hearings for split up homes
    -🐸🐸🐸🐸 donors(with out relations)
    -hotels
    -divorcing cost
    - more cas options
    - more job options
    - and face routines, scrollers for babies/toddles, report card pickups, parent teacher conferences, etc
  • TwinkiesLATwinkiesLA Posts: 181 Member
@Cangwen That would be so awesome :)! I would love a pack based on gaming, as I am a big gamer myself :D. I like the name Gamer's Delight!

@CymoneWright I think that those ideas would make the sims more realistic, which is great!

Things I think should be patched in:

Revamping skills for toddlers and children. Toddlers go back to TS2 mode, where they need to be taught to walk, talk, and use the potty, but that's it. Children learn regular skills, but they might need child-friendly items to practice on, like an EZ Bake oven to learn cooking or baking. Eliminate/revamp the childhood aspirations.

More activities for children. Give kids lots of games to play with each other, items, and activities.

Non-reciprocal relationships. Let my sim be madly in love with a sim while having that sim not know who they even are. (For instance.)

    Couples dancing.

Classify any home as "residential," "rental," or "vacation." Being able to make a vacation home in any world with a residential lot is nice, but let's go all the way with it. Let sims buy apartments. Let players build apartments. Let my sims rent a house to live in. Let my sims live in any world, even the vacation worlds.

Cars. Even without an open world, having good-looking cars that sims can sit in and drive away from and onto lots with would be nice.

Better time management. Running to a hot dog restaurant to get dinner shouldn't be an activity that takes an entire evening. Everything in the game takes way too long.

Switches for occult life states and for open or closed neighborhoods. Maybe I don't want vampires in my game, but do want ghosts. Or maybe I want Mt. Komorebi sims to stay in Mt. Komorebi. Let me choose.

Create-A-World. Let me make green, snowy, desert, city, whatever worlds, decide what lots are on them, where streets are (or if there are streets), what decorations there are. Let me set the weather specific to each world.

Packs I wish they'd made instead of what we got:

Spooky Living: One big pack that has an overcast, gloomy neighborhood, but big, rather than just five lots. Pack includes fully skill-treed vampires, werewolves, and ghosts, plus a graveyard lot type where you can place urns and tombstones, and explore a crypt like in TS3.

Sci-Fi Living: A full pack of futuristic clothing and builds, with fully skill-treed aliens, alien abductions, and a time machine item like the one from TS3 where you can go in, have an adventure, and maybe come back with new outfits or items or even new sims. Include an alien world. Could be Sixam, could be Lunar Lakes, whatever.

Country Living: Build and CAS styles that work for rural, Old West, or cottagecore. Livestock, farmer's markets. Horses as transport or pets. Include unicorns as special horses.

Fairy Tale Living: Medieval B/B and CAS. Faeries and Spellcasters, fully skill-treed. Ambitions that recreate fairy tales. A separate world that's very medieval/Disney's Magic Kingdom in style. Sword fighting.

Ocean Living:Fully skill-treed mermaids. Diving. Underwater lots and building. Houseboats.

Base Game Careers: Not a pack, but I just wish they'd gone with all careers having not just the rabbithole, but all having either the option to play the career or a work from home option, depending on the career.

Stuff Packs: Stuff packs should be fairly robust B/B and CAS sets, focusing on the clothing, furniture, and architecture of specific eras, regions, or cultures. If you don't want '50s stuff, or Russian stuff, or Goth stuff, you just don't buy it.

Game Packs: Game packs should add new gameplay. Maybe, but not necessarily, a new career. Some sort of guided branching story with quests. A new world/secret lot for that story. So a murder mystery might just take place in a big secret lot that's a mansion, but an Egyptian Adventure set would have a whole new world with a secret lot to represent the various tombs you'll be exploring, or if you want you can just live in the Egyptian world and not bother with the story.

Hmm it's tied between Hotels and Scuba Diving and I'd add a Romance Pack and Themeparks to the list.
