Generations coming with lots of family gameplay and expanding gameplay for all life stages
Farming coming with cows, horses, sheep, chicken and a switzerland mountain world, I hope people voted for that when it was on the survey ^^
Hotels coming with more pool items
Music (bands, more insruments) and Sports (group activities like the soccer net we once got), more hobbies in general
another non-american and non-European world like an African world, I'd really like an African world
If I had to pick another European world besides Switzerland, I'd want a French world (like in the south of France, the so called Provence with the lavender fields, so beautiful) or an Italian World
- A Fairy pack with a proper Fairy Occult - abilities, interactions and clothing. Would like fully fleshed out werewolves (and at least some dragon options in CaS since I doubt they'd give us proper dragonsims ever.) but Fairies comes first.
- Romantic Interaction pack - Give your Sims relationship a little more life and activitities, get cozy on the bed, jog together, sail a boat or a waverider together, have a picnic, just a little more romantic variations on everyday life.
- Generation Pack. Just more stuff to do for your Sims in different ages and make them act like it. (I really like that the elder Sim can sit and reminisce about his/her long life, now if they just had a memory system that would actually allow one to give them actual memories to remember).

I don't know about priorities, but out of all the rumors/discussions that I've been seeing, the one that appeal to me the most are:
- Bands ( and more instruments) - Farming (mainly for the animals and additional gameplay) - Werewolves (because there are vampires and where are vampires, werewolves should be too) - Wedding and funeral game pack, with a cemetery lot type and new careers. - Children and toddlers being able to use a bike, maybe skating for children and teenagers. - Amusement park.
Additional things that were mentioned in this thread:
-Ballet would be great. -Attics.
To add as a wishlist:
-Modular curtains -Revamping of the paintings (more swatches, more paintings, more frames). Ability to add fancy frame to painted art. New filter for the painted by sims art, currently there are better filters out there than when the game was first created. -Re-texturing and sometimes re-meshing of at least base game BB items and CAS, it's too outdated now, but maybe it's too greedy to ask. -More architectural variety. (Russian, Nordic, Korean, Chinese, Gothic, Baroque, African, Egyptian to name a few) There are so many styles to pick from. - Same for CAS, more cultural variety, more variety in clothes shapes, there are many subcultures in dressing as well, would be nice to have representation of those, at least for the most well known.
Really, when it comes to the next Expansion Pack, to me Generations HAS to be next. The game really could use more depth in general, but for sure when it comes to Family Play imo.

How do you know any of that’s coming? Also, if any of it is coming this year it doesn’t matter what we post today because the devs have said many times that most game and expansion pack development starts about a year before release, stuff packs is something like 6 months I think.
I think that's what the fans wants to stop complaining about the game before TS5.
At least for 2021 and 2022, 3 SP, 3 GP and 3 EP for two years it's possible.

I love the idea of modular curtains and fancy frames for pictures. But I think this should start at basegame level and curtains should be revamped for all packs. And fancy frames should be able to go on any paintings and photographs medium sized up.
In the Inside Maxis livestream after the bunk bed update they showed an extra aspiration trait(?) under the aspiration picture, and the calendar from Seasons was shown, but they (the SimGurus) were only using basegame, which could maybe mean the calendar will become basegame?

Nearing 7 years soon can I get some base game content like cars freed babies and a expansion pack that actually adds game play to all worlds that is not tied to a single object through something like Generations bands high school shopping mall or hotels none of it tied to a single world.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"
A generations-type pack. Consequences for your actions. More personality and drama, less happy-go-lucky, smiles-and-kissies utopia. I want to be able to make meaningful, interesting stories without the game trying to railroad me towards this rich, happy, perfect lifestyle at every turn.

Scuba diving requires a lot of animations so it would need to be in a GP or EP.
