Ahhhh, amazing updates! Apologies for my delay in getting back to you: I work as a book editor, and my job has been insanely busy the last few months. Something about the pandemic and lockdown has really inspired people to read, thank goodness!
I love the idea of the Preacher getting rid of his evil wife and Miriam and evil Octavio scheming together a little bit of chaos! I think that's what I meant by "love triangle," because I don't suppose any of that would be easy.

To answer your question briefly: I am working on a story, but no promises on when it'll actually appear! Roughly, it's the backstory of Riverview's Jebidiah Wilson. When I first started playing Sims 3 (only back in September!), I created a young adult female Renaissance Sim who just adored him. I was reluctant to have them together: he's quite a bit older than she was and I'm also not a huge fan of the medical career with all its 2am emergencies. But even when I tried to pair her up with Billy Caspian or George Dean or even your pre-Danny Don Lothario (!), she always had loads of hearts for the good doctor. So I married them and I actually loved playing him. I also found his background interesting: he wasn't from Riverview, but there was nothing on where he had come from and why he was there now. So in my story, I've aged him down to a child Sim and have him as part of the very well-connected Wilson family based in Sunset Valley, where he's the adored only child of great parents. His dad, Thomas, is mayor of the town. And Thomas is also the brother of evil Vita Alto. So lots of family drama! I'm also including his future wife in the story (she's also a child in Sunset Valley at this point, abandoned as a baby, and a secret witch, in a version of the town filled with Supernatural Skeptics), so romance and more drama will be on the way for him. It's loads of fun, but taking ages to plan!

I had Jebidiah Wilson finally marry his patient, who he fell in love with, the lovely but insane Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes! And he wound up moving into her big family house and caring for her and her parents, Hope Carpenter, & Buzz Rhodes that were absent minded LOL They would get lost all the time!
Jeb and Meadow had a darling daughter who was such a nice child, being so patient and kind with her family members! I played them a long time!

Somehow Alfred got away from me, lol, he was really fast, and Joy wasn't able to call him back!
It just said suddenly in the pop up 'wow what a great date', and 'Jimmy's party was Epic', and there Alfred went, running! LOL
So of Course Watcher followed him! I sent the others home, it's a school night!
Oh, Alfred just went home! And his Dad, the Preacher, was already asleep! In Alfred's bed LOL
Thank goodness there is a Fairy House, because there will be no waking for the Preacher since he is a Heavy Sleeper!
Since I had already saved the Prom part, and I had 2 people wanting to see a possible Triad, and I knew I could be brave to Watch since I can always not save or delete this save, and----Oh for Pete' sake Doodle, spit it out!
OK! I clicked on the ground, when I saw Miriam come home, and chose 'invite over' Octavio!!!
Miriam answers the door. and Octavio enters the Preacher's house!
Octavio being in the house wakes Alfred, and he comes downstairs to investigate! He sees his Mother telling Octavio how she is against all supernaturals! Poor kid, how many times has he heard this rant in his life, I wonder?
Whatever Alfred says to either one, does not appear to be received nicely, and it makes Alfred feel bad.
I don't think he likes Octavio looking at his Mom so much.
"Mwa-hah-hah!!! I am in the desirable evil Miriam's house!" thinks Octavio, rubbing his hands together in glee.
"Mother, why is this guy even here?" Alfred thinks, but Miriam stays silent! thinking of Octavio!
Alfred seems to want an answer. or want to get to know the guy. "Mr. Octavio, what brings you to our house tonight?"
"The love of money, of Course!" thinks Octavio! is he planning to steal?
Miriam seems to like Octavio being here!
Alfred saw Octavio's thoughts and Whatever he said to the kid wasn't nice!
Miriam gets the heart magnet for Octavio and then glances at her pestersome kid!
"Oh these awful fairies, I dislike their ability to read our thoughts, they are so awful!"
"Teens! Can't you do something about him Mariam?" thinks Octavio.
"Mother, shall I get you some flowers?" asks Alfred, and Octavio looks interested in her answer--maybe it would be good to know her favorite flower!
"NO! I don't want flowers! Not from you anyway...." she says
This creates greater dislike with his Mother but somehow stronger like with Octavio.
So Alfred tries to be pleasant to Octavio, but Octavio doesn't like whatever he said.
In fact, everyone has a red dagger now! wth?!
I hate when they have obvious telepathic communication and don't show the thought! Don't they know the Watcher Needs to Know Everything!!! LOL
At this point Watcher feels very very sad for poor Alfred! I can't stand it, and I make Joy come and invite him over!
There is no one up at the house, to invite him to stay over. Joy can't either, because it is already too late/early morning, so I stay to see if Alfred will just naturally sleep there. (Of course woo worked, what ese is going to work?! LOL)

Yes, Germany still does this high Vitamin C infusions and the high Vitamin B infusions as well. I got the one with the Vitamin B 1 and 12 one because I somehow can´t get this vitamins from my food. The lack of this vitamins led to my dying nerves in my feet and hands so I have to get that infusions once a moth now, my doctor told me, because even the Vitamin B pills he prescibed me don´t fill my needed storage. He suspects that my auto immune disease himders my body to storage the vitamins....
Here in Germany we have 4 different vaccines available:
Johnson&Johnson (COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen) this is the one shot vaccine you´ve mentioned.
AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)
Both do not have a good reputation and the government didn´t order so much of them, because they caused blood clots and thromboses. There was an order to use the vaccines only for people over 60, but no-one wanted to get vaccinated with that anymore so the people didn´t come to the vaccination centers anymore to get their ordered shots from that companies. The people said that they rather wait a few months longer to get a shot from other companies than to risk a thrombose. Now the government still has lots of Vaxzevria in store (they didn´t even order the one of Johnson&Johnson anymore)
So literally we all want to get vaccinated with the two other vaccines:
COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna by Moderna
Cormirnaty by BioNTech/ Pfizer
Both have nearly the same effective protection.
Because BioNTech is a German company and has a few plants here which produce the vaccine (and a new one is being built right now, another one got a bigger production hall in winter) we have mostly their vaccine, especially now that it doesn´t have to be cooled down to 75°C anymore.
So all family doctors can vaccinate their patients now, too!
(We have a family doctor´s system here: if you don´t feel good you go to your doctor (general medical practitioner), they look and inspect you, prescribe medicine, can do a lot of medical stuff. If you have something more serious than they can deal with they send their patients to specialists who have the needed machines to examine you further. Just when you are in need of a bigger operation you go to a hospital to get it there)
So it is great that the vaccine by BioNTech isn´t in need of this massive cooling anymore so the many family doctors and the company doctors can vaccine, too, now!
Moderna is a U.S. company. Unfortunately the U.S. government didn´t sell it to Europe from the beginning so we didn´t get much of it when the vaccination began (your government didn´t even allow much needed ingredients to be sent to Europe at the beginning, even the ingredients of BioNTech!, so we had to start our vaccination program much later than you) so Moderna doesn´t have sold so many doses here.
I´m just happy that I got my first shot on Wednesday, my second will be in June and when July comes I can go ouside without any fear anymore, so I literally didn´t care from whom I got my shot, either Moderna or BioNTech, the main thing is am not in constant fear of getting Covid and dying from it! Yey!!!!!

I know! I blew it! But I like Alfred more than those guys so had to make sure he was ok! I only stayed w/Alfred until he was sleeping. Then paused and zoomed back to his parents. The Preacher was asleep when I left! and since he is a heavy sleeper I thought I was safe!!!
OK, What I think is that Octavio and Miriam Wanted to flirt and More! Maybe they did but that would be acting outside of my parameters! Not impossible but highly Unlikely! so I think the Preacher acted on the mere Knowing that Miriam and Octavio both Wanted some kind of lust to happen!
The reason I think this is, because of my settings in the W mod, no one can flirt with marrieds but their partners! Unless they acted outside the parameters of the mod, which I Have seen happen before, but it's very rare! The Preacher has Heavy Sleeper trait. He shouldn't wake up until one hour before work. Even if there is a burglar or fire!
Oh, The Preacher & Miriam weren't high in relationship when I first looked at them, they were 40 in 'like' . Their relationship keeps deteriorating! Now they can't woo because the relationship is in the red!
They have conflicting traits, especially now that the Preacher is 'Good', he is Heavy sleeper she is Light sleeper, the only trait they have in common is supernatural skeptic.
LOL ok I just Like Dusty's song! Alfred was supposed to be like her song! (The sexy, verboten, dangerous CADE!) but, sims, what can ya do? They want to be, who they want to be!!!

We got the Moderna. it is 94.1% effective. I don't know who would even want to get some of the other ones with complications and one is only 66% effective! how dumb! I apologize for my country not selling the needed ingredients!

We are told to still wear the masks in public, and keep the social distancing and wash hands often, even after being vaccinated. The doc told me the vaccine will make it so that if in the small chance I do get the covid, the symptoms will be much less severe, than if I didn't get the vaccine. The hope is over time, the vaccine will make it so that covid will become less and less strong, as it mutates, until it is no more a problem than a common cold.
People over here are still getting covid even after having been vaccinated, but the symptoms are very mild, some don't even know they have covid, their symptoms are so mild to non existent. that is why they still want us to wear masks for the time being. Because a person with no symptoms can still spread the germs. so wearing a mask it's like having protected sex! lol

Yes I was most into Alfred and his feelings! Everyone reacts differently, I am all about the kids and teens, so my focus was on Alfred's feelings and made Joy come get him!

note # 2 : Sorry about not staying at the Preacher's after the Prom, but my concern was for Alfred at the time. I don't want him to have a damaged psyche! Blame the Mama in me, or my teen aged years! Besides, I thought It was safe to leave for a minute because of the traits and W mod protection!!! It is extremely rare for sims to act outside of the parameters!
Seriously, a Cowardly, Good sim, that is supposed to Stay Asleep (heavy sleeper), wakes up and then Initiates a fight. Good sims have that fighting option crossed out. Cowards are highly unlikely to act that way. Heavy sleepers stay asleep. The W mod protects all marriages from outside flirting.
Conclusion: The Hate is what's responsible. That Red bar of Hate! That's all that's left to blame!
Preacher & Alfred to Mariam = Red bar
Preacher to Octavio = Red bar
What does this teach us? ---> That Red Bar has powers that can make traits go out the Window!!!
I go back to the Hopcroft's while my sims sleep. They rock, in silence, in the rocking chairs until 3am. Both have the moodlets 'entertained' and 'attractive company'. Preacher also has 'afraid of the dark.'

That is weird to me that they are sleeping in the same bed, both times! Pastor was just sleeping in Alfred's bed, earlier tonight, shouldn't that designate Alfred's bed as 'his' bed now? right? Also, since their relationship is in the red, Why do they sleep together? Both times! WHY?
I look at their dreams, maybe it will give clues.

"Duh! The wonderful money that Octavio & I plan to steal!" she tells me with a roll of her eyes!

I usually don't direct them, except to help fulfill some wishes, but I do have to set up certain things/situations with MC, since no SP! I thought I would post my notes for your amusement!
*I can dissolve the marriage with MC (they will just stay together in a hateful marriage if I do nothing.)
*I could use MC to invite Octavio over--But I don't know if he will leave his concession stand.
* I can just wait until the Pastor comes home, to view their relationship disintegrate further, but still I will eventually have the same choices to make, being the SP of the game! and I don't particularly want to re-see what I saw as a teen!
*I could dissolve the marriage but make the Hopcraft's RI, and change woo % liking gate of RI to a negative number to let Pastor and Miriam woo if they want to. but NO that's too icky! I'm not into 'hate woo' and would have to hide my eyes! (Then the sims would know that I'm not watching and all heck would break loose and there I am with a blanket over my head not taking pics! ) Plus, it will effect everyone in town! So NO!

Preacher and Miriam were losing ground quickly even before I stepped in. I think EA just slapped them together, imho, only one trait in common, and one in conflict. They would have never become an item in the first place.

Yes I don't think I can make a true triad, with what I have installed. And I don't believe/trust the mods or rewards, I just betcha the sims really Do care, and Won't like it and will Still be jealous, even if it says they aren't, because it is written into the Core!

I'm with you! -> either Mariam needs to be completely overhauled, à la Danny, or some nice good sweet little church lady needs to move into town! Sleeping in a bed doesn't designate the bed as a sims bed. Assigning a bed does. They will sleep in the assigned bed most of the time. They will still woohoo in whatever is closest. lol
I have to say I think he wants her out. He is mourning the death of the marriage, even if still attracted to her. He looked much happier on his way to work then in his own home.

hmm, I wonder why you thought unstable would help a relationship. It is an awful trait! Actually, I have sims that love each other very much and don't have any trait compatibilities. Yes, it is hard if they have several incompatible traits but I guess most are neutral because I don't use evil or inappropriate or unstable or several other silly mean traits. lol Mostly they need to spend time with each other and that is usually enough. I didn't tell you to change their traits? I don't know why you think I did? I'm confused!

Lol, that you are terrified of Fawn! I'm kinda scared of her too, in your world. She's a sweetheart in mine. But, she is still a toddler in mine and hasn't turned into a terrible two, let alone a terrible teen. Her parents always end up having a natural baby and this last time it was a boy.
There is probably a way to do triads with nraas but it just seems like too much work. I used to tell hubby we needed a wife 'cause I hated cooking and cleaning and housework, but loved working and bringing home the money. I put unstable to get different traits. Soon as I saw Good I knew Cherie needed to come over! I wanted a matching trait to Alfred! No I meant you wanted to see a better relationship with his Dad. like call the Dad and tell him Alfred was over and have the dad and Alfred talk, stuff like that! I thought this would be a good place to start having a matching trait!
The McDuff's are still witches, Joe and the girl. Jules was too naughty and Faelie used a potion on him, that Wikerman said she could have! Jules is tame and nice now (and is in love with Cherry Blossom)
I saved Miriam to the bin so we can make a Real preachers wife! hehehee
Oh my! What dramatic outtakes! And what a great twist in the story - I can't wait to see how this gets resolved, though I hope the poor Preacher gets some happiness in his domestic life. And the toddler fairy party at the end of all that drama made me laugh - even the nice families have their share of playful chaos today! :)

(lol Watcher had Many false starts because the concession stand kept pulling Octavio away and back to work before Miriam could answer the door! LOL! She is such a dawdler! I had to keep inviting him back with MC & finally I lost patience, and I temporarily released him from that job! The cop, Gail Storm is there currently, the pop up told me.)
Miriam thinks about her awful marriage with Preacher. omg that FACE! And Octavio thinks about all the riches he will soon have, the biggest prize though, is Mariam!

I am really baffled now that I never caught them speaking when they are on the same lot! I mean that is very strange to me! I wonder if I have to remove the Dad's supernatural nonbeliever trait, I don't actually know how strong that trait effects the supernaturals feelings, except I know Alfred hates it and gets very sad, when they spout off bout it! I will watch Preacher closely regarding this trait, if Alfred is to ever come back home to live when I am elsewhere!

Yes ergo_slum gave me the great idea to have Miriam & Octavio plot & plan their evil schemes, and that sounded really fun to me! What was so unexpected was their hot/cold relationship 😁 they are kind of insane acting and made me laugh so much I kept pausing and made my husband come look at what they were doing! hahaha what Weirdos!!! So Miriam needs to stay until she gets further along in her planning & plotting because I need to be able to have her on hand to explore it! also I need to see if Preacher will divorce her or if I have to do it. I have never experienced this in the game, even when I used SP, so it is an unknown.
Oh She was just upstairs on the computer. -- I had to use Debug to break the one downstairs when she kept dilly dallying instead of answering the door! Geesh that was so hilarious(now) but Frustrating in the beginning, hoping she would get to the door before Octavio ran off to the job again! I had to turn her TV off too, but then she had to complain and waste more time! LOL so I am really glad now that I'm here, it will be a bit easier now, for sure!

Miriam was busy in 'her' room, scheming and plotting her Evil Plan of Riche$! She needed to be even craftier now, knowing that she was being Watched! And She was a little bit scared of the Watcher! She knew all about what Watcher thought of Evil sims. And what could happen to them if they went too far!!! The most appalling to her was what happened to Zoe Durwood, once she aged to adult she suddenly joined the service pool and now has to live in the other dimension, just because she was so evil and nasty to her family and neighbors! OH! The Travesty!
What is keeping Alfred? Watcher goes to check! Hmm, he isn't going home! Interesting! And Very telling actually!
"I guess the Watcher forgot to click the ground to 'MC invite' me to Joy's house." he thinks, sadly, then proceeds to his favorite spot by the big tree to do his homework. It' peaceful here outside in the school yard, he loves being outside!

I know that Youngman family is usually moved into town via SP but I don't want a huge family that I don't know moving in! Probably because In my first game I let him be handsome with Hair and have a bunch of girlfriends, that was before I found out he was married with a ton of kids!!! No one is at the cash register, but that doesn't stop a fairy! Alfred buys his elixirs! He gives a special one to Pop!
Preacher then decides to Enthuse about Witch burning or whatever mean thing it is! Alfred really does not appreciate his Pop's hate of supernaturals! All his life, since he was a tiny toddler, he's had to endure this Mean behavior from both his parents! "It's like living with a bigot! A bigot who hates the very essence of my Being!" Alfred can't help who is IS! He wishes his father wasn't so cruel!
Alfred has some choices to make! He is older now, wiser, stronger, and Much more powerful!!! He could go live with Alfie, or he can Deal with this Bad Behavior once and for all!! Oh yes, he could Fairy Prank his Pop, give him Hot Head or Twisted Tummy to show Pop what it actually Feels like when people says these things to him and about him! It actually Could be an important lesson for Preacher, the man is so Ignorant! Alfred looks deep into Preacher's soul, he sees the Good and the Ugly, and makes a decision!

I love the idea of the Preacher getting rid of his evil wife and Miriam and evil Octavio scheming together a little bit of chaos! I think that's what I meant by "love triangle," because I don't suppose any of that would be easy.

To answer your question briefly: I am working on a story, but no promises on when it'll actually appear! Roughly, it's the backstory of Riverview's Jebidiah Wilson. When I first started playing Sims 3 (only back in September!), I created a young adult female Renaissance Sim who just adored him. I was reluctant to have them together: he's quite a bit older than she was and I'm also not a huge fan of the medical career with all its 2am emergencies. But even when I tried to pair her up with Billy Caspian or George Dean or even your pre-Danny Don Lothario (!), she always had loads of hearts for the good doctor. So I married them and I actually loved playing him. I also found his background interesting: he wasn't from Riverview, but there was nothing on where he had come from and why he was there now. So in my story, I've aged him down to a child Sim and have him as part of the very well-connected Wilson family based in Sunset Valley, where he's the adored only child of great parents. His dad, Thomas, is mayor of the town. And Thomas is also the brother of evil Vita Alto. So lots of family drama! I'm also including his future wife in the story (she's also a child in Sunset Valley at this point, abandoned as a baby, and a secret witch, in a version of the town filled with Supernatural Skeptics), so romance and more drama will be on the way for him. It's loads of fun, but taking ages to plan!

I had Jebidiah Wilson finally marry his patient, who he fell in love with, the lovely but insane Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes! And he wound up moving into her big family house and caring for her and her parents, Hope Carpenter, & Buzz Rhodes that were absent minded LOL They would get lost all the time!
Jeb and Meadow had a darling daughter who was such a nice child, being so patient and kind with her family members! I played them a long time!

At this point Watcher feels very very sad for poor Alfred! I can't stand it, and I make Joy come and invite him over!
There is no one up at the house, to invite him to stay over. Joy can't either, because it is already too late/early morning, so I stay to see if Alfred will just naturally sleep there. (Of course woo worked, what ese is going to work?! LOL)
When I get back, I see the Preacher and Octavio starring red daggers at each other!

Here in Germany we have 4 different vaccines available:
Johnson&Johnson (COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen) this is the one shot vaccine you´ve mentioned.
AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)
Both do not have a good reputation and the government didn´t order so much of them, because they caused blood clots and thromboses. There was an order to use the vaccines only for people over 60, but no-one wanted to get vaccinated with that anymore so the people didn´t come to the vaccination centers anymore to get their ordered shots from that companies. The people said that they rather wait a few months longer to get a shot from other companies than to risk a thrombose. Now the government still has lots of Vaxzevria in store (they didn´t even order the one of Johnson&Johnson anymore)
So literally we all want to get vaccinated with the two other vaccines:
COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna by Moderna
Cormirnaty by BioNTech/ Pfizer
Both have nearly the same effective protection.
Because BioNTech is a German company and has a few plants here which produce the vaccine (and a new one is being built right now, another one got a bigger production hall in winter) we have mostly their vaccine, especially now that it doesn´t have to be cooled down to 75°C anymore.
So all family doctors can vaccinate their patients now, too!
(We have a family doctor´s system here: if you don´t feel good you go to your doctor (general medical practitioner), they look and inspect you, prescribe medicine, can do a lot of medical stuff. If you have something more serious than they can deal with they send their patients to specialists who have the needed machines to examine you further. Just when you are in need of a bigger operation you go to a hospital to get it there)
So it is great that the vaccine by BioNTech isn´t in need of this massive cooling anymore so the many family doctors and the company doctors can vaccine, too, now!
Moderna is a U.S. company. I´m just happy that I got my first shot on Wednesday, my second will be in June and when July comes I can go ouside without any fear anymore, so I literally didn´t care from whom I got my shot, either Moderna or BioNTech, the main thing is am not in constant fear of getting Covid and dying from it! OK, What I think is that Octavio and Miriam Wanted to flirt and More! Maybe they did but that would be acting outside of my parameters! Not impossible but highly Unlikely! so I think the Preacher acted on the mere Knowing that Miriam and Octavio both Wanted some kind of lust to happen!
The reason I think this is, because of my settings in the W mod, no one can flirt with marrieds but their partners! Unless they acted outside the parameters of the mod, which I Have seen happen before, but it's very rare! The Preacher has Heavy Sleeper trait. He shouldn't wake up until one hour before work. Even if there is a burglar or fire!
Oh, The Preacher & Miriam weren't high in relationship when I first looked at them, they were 40 in 'like' . Their relationship keeps deteriorating! Now they can't woo because the relationship is in the red!
They have conflicting traits, especially now that the Preacher is 'Good', he is Heavy sleeper she is Light sleeper, the only trait they have in common is supernatural skeptic.

We are told to still wear the masks in public, and keep the social distancing and wash hands often, even after being vaccinated. The doc told me the vaccine will make it so that if in the small chance I do get the covid, the symptoms will be much less severe, than if I didn't get the vaccine. The hope is over time, the vaccine will make it so that covid will become less and less strong, as it mutates, until it is no more a problem than a common cold.
People over here are still getting covid even after having been vaccinated, but the symptoms are very mild, some don't even know they have covid, their symptoms are so mild to non existent. that is why they still want us to wear masks for the time being. Because a person with no symptoms can still spread the germs. so wearing a mask it's like having protected sex! lol

Seriously, a Cowardly, Good sim, that is supposed to Stay Asleep (heavy sleeper), wakes up and then Initiates a fight. Good sims have that fighting option crossed out. Cowards are highly unlikely to act that way. Heavy sleepers stay asleep. The W mod protects all marriages from outside flirting.
Conclusion: The Hate is what's responsible. That Red bar of Hate! That's all that's left to blame!

@bekkasan yes I want to stay for a bit, for many reasons now, but also to see if Preacher and Alfred talk to each other naturally! I am really baffled now that I never caught them speaking when they are on the same lot! I mean that is very strange to me! I wonder if I have to remove the Dad's supernatural nonbeliever trait, I don't actually know how strong that trait effects the supernaturals feelings, except I know Alfred hates it and gets very sad, when they spout off bout it! I will watch Preacher closely regarding this trait, if Alfred is to ever come back home to live when I am elsewhere!
