Daniel had gotten a call from the Hueber Associates & Kim Gould's Steakhouse to fix some leaky plumbing in the restaurant, so he went to see what he could do to fix their problem so that the health department wouldn't close them down.
Mary was at home binge watching the hit show "Sims Kitchen" on the Cooking Channel where she had learned a variety of recipes such as Frog Legs, Vegetarian Chili, Fish & Chips, Chili Con Carne, Cheese Plate, Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Bouillabaisse, Ratatouille, Mushroom Omelette, Cookies, Shawama and Fruit Parfait. She knew how to do some of them before but didn't realize that there was different ways to prepare them. So now she has a total of 29 recipes that she can fix plus now she has the "Menu Maven" in her book as well as being level 4 in cooking.
Amanda was upstairs practicing her painting. She could only start with a small and when she was done, it was worth 3 simoleons, so she kept it as it wasn't worth anything to sell it.
Lily was outside reading the newspaper so she can keep up with all of the daily news around town.
Charles went outside to work on the cars engine as we wants to get the car done before winter sets in.
Amanda went downstairs after she was done with her painting and asked her mom how her day was going. Mary told her about some of the recipes that she just learned from 'Sims Kitchen' and Amanda told her mom about the painting that she just did. Then Amanda told her about the athletic opportunity that she just got to go to Shang Simla to do, so her mom had asked if she was taking Daniel with her and Amanda told her that she hadn't even said anything to him yet about it.
After Amanda got done talking with her mom, she called Daniel up and asked him to come over as she has something that she want's to tell him. So when he got done with his side job, he came right on over and give Amanda a loving kiss.
After they were done kissing and had pulled away from each other, Amanda went on to tell him about her upcoming trip to China and wanted to know if he wanted to go with her and he said yes. So she called the travel agency to get 2 round trip tickets to Shang Simla and when the travel agent had asked for their travel Visa information, she gave them hers but Daniel said he never got a travel Visa before as he didn't know if he ever was going to do any traveling. So Amanda was only able to get 1 ticket for herself as it was too late in the evening for Daniel to apply for one.
Once Amanda had landed and was taken to the base camp, she went and checked the adventure board to see what events and activities was taking place for that day. So she saw an adventure that wants her to go to the Halls of the Lost Army and decided that would be a fun adventure to do. But before she had to go there, she had to go meet with Jiannan Lu to get more info on what she needed to do as well as get the 1st keystone that she would need once she figures out how to unlock the secret entrance to the catacombs that lay beneath the Hall.
So once she accepted the adventure from the board, she pulls out her broom and make her way up the hill to where Jiannan Lu lives. Once she gets there, she goes over and introduces herself to Jiannan Lu and told her that she was here for the adventure that she had posted on the board at the base camp.
After chatting with Jiannan Lu, she headed back down the hill and went towards the center of town where she decided to see what Biyu Shen has to offer but her wares couldn't be brought yet as Amanda needed to have some Visa points towards her Travel Visa.
After talking to Biyu Shen, Amanda headed on over to the Hall of the Lost Army where she noticed a strange tile on the floor that didn't look like the rest of the flooring, so she went and stepped on it to see if it would do anything. Once she stepped on it, it revealed a hidden staircase that led downstairs to the catacombs.
Once she got downstairs and had did a search of the hallway, she spotted the key shaped plaque on the wall that was the same shape of the keystone that Jiannan Lu had given her.
So Amanda had pulled the keystone out of her travel bag and hefted it up as high as she could so that she could get the keystone into the plaque. She had to try it a few times as she kept missing the hole in the plaque but finally got it in.
After she had managed to get it in and had pushed as hard as she could, the chains on the door had unlocked and fallen to reveal another room. Once she entered into the room, she saw another odd floor tile as well as a heavy looking statue. She studied the statue and the floor tile for a bit to figure out what she needs to do to get the door unlock so that she can see what's on the other side of it.
Once she figures out that she needed to pull the statue so that it sits on the odd tile, she moves it and the door unlocks to reveal another room with the same statue and odd tile. So she goes in and has to push that one onto the tile so that the other tile can be stepped on to unlock the door.

Decided to use mobile hotspot off my phone to download my store items. I'm going to save everything somewhere so I won't have to download from the store again. I don't have a ton of store stuff yet so it won't take me too long. After the family left for the movies, Eric snuck back into the home.

Eric: It doesn't matter what it says, who else could have written

Candy: Mommy, what happens if I lie?
Martha: No dessert for 3 weeks...

Abigail: Why?

So Boyd won’t have to cheat on Susan, he’s getting a handsome twin who will father Avery with Ava. Brittany will also be reborn but I’m not sure who she’ll marry. I’ve always wanted to do this but it’ll take some time. Currently, I’m making a base game twin for Boyd named Floyd Wainwright.

That sound like fun. I often end up with twins for some of my sims when I add households from my library to the game and end up with the same sim two or more times. Instead of getting rid of the extras I change the name of the latest additions to the save and use Master Controller to make them siblings. Once I made them cousins but that took too much work to do often. I had to make parents for each of them and then make their grandparents too. I made the parents and grandparents as ghosts so I wouldn't have to play them. I don't know why I bothered, but I probably just wanted to see if it'd work. It worked.

I couldn't tell you what pages they're on though since they're pretty spread out. I actually need to update my signature, but I guess I've been pretty lazy about it.

Today I decided to test out my own challenge idea to see if it is a good idea or even makes sense. in my own test of it, I am sticking as close to the books as I can but trying to figure out ways to make it less rigid for other players in case I post it one day. It is like a Disney Legacy challenge but with a twist. It is based on a series of books called Disney Twisted Tales where the Disney movies we know and love get dark twists to them. Today I started and almost completed my first generation which is Aladdin.
I had two create Aladdin and two thief buddies for him, then i had to create Jasmine, the Sultan, Jafar and Rajah (he's just a cat). Then I got Jafar to go send Aladdin to Egypt to retrieve something for him (I don't have Showtime so it was not the lamp) Then I tried to get Jafar to create a zombie army for his Zombie Master Lifetime wish ( I technically failed because by the time I got his magic to level 10 for the Reanimation ritual, most of the graves in the graveyard were empty). I am currently at the point where Aladdin has to marry Jasmine and have kids to start Generation 2.
An early version of Floyd Wainwright was created, but I’ll need to edit him once I get everything installed. The plan is to start with Emily and Christian because I’ve already established that much. Eric will be born to them around the time Fawn Ursine is. Then, Emily’s best friend, Ava Sinclair, will show up. She’ll meet Floyd Wainwright, which will be reminiscent of the first ever save here. I’ll have small updates with other townie families so that I can set up necessary births and storylines. Basically, any Sim I ever shared here might show up in this save.
It's a beautiful day out here in Moonlight Falls; y'know the kind of day that makes you wish that the weather could stay like this for the rest of your time there. Not too hot, not too cold, the temperature is just right and the humidity is just perfect so that the breezes are cool and the sun is just the right degree of warmth. Heck it's the perfect day for fishing.
River: It's gorgeous out here. I could drop a worm in the water for hours and enjoy the weather out here.
Bebe: The pond's nice and the breeze coming off the water is great. I can hear the waterfall just over the way there.
Haruo: Oh, I sure hope the two of them don't castrate me. I think I'll stay here and fish for the rest of my existence if it keeps me intact.

After having a completely manic cooking loop had to send Andy Mclain home from the trade station

Once the door opened up and Amanda went through it, she saw 6 more of those heavy statues with 5 of them blocking the pathway as well as some flashing light coming from the floor in front of them. So she started talking out loud trying to figure out how she was going to get to the other side of the room, she wondered if she pushes the middle statue forward just a little bit if she would get electrified, so she went ahead and took her chances as she was saying a silent prayer to herself.
She pushed and pushed until the electricity coming from the floor had stopped and then it was safe to walk around the statue. Once she got to the other side of the room, she saw a pile of debris sitting on top of the floor tile that she needs to use to open the next doorway in the catacombs.
She needed to look around the room for anything that she could use to remove the debris and found that there was an pickaxe laying close by and went over to get it. As she was getting ready to make the first hit on the debris, she said out loud that she wished that Daniel was here to help her with pushing and pulling the heavy statues and to use the pickaxe. She just kept using curse words as she kept swinging away with the pickaxe until the debris was cleared enough away from the floor tile so that she can use it.
But once she had stepped on the tile, it didn't open the door that was next to it but instead opened up the wall opposite of the locked door revealing a hidden room. So she went inside of it and saw more statues and she needed to move to get to the chests that was in the room. She found a Crystal Cut Jade, 2high quality dried food and some ancient coins that she threw in her bag that she was carrying with her. She would count those later once she was done with this adventure as she doesn't have the time to do so now.
As she was exiting the hidden room, she saw another hole in the wall and went over to check it out. She put her hand inside hoping that there wasn't anything in there that could harm her and felt around until she felt something the left like a rope and pulled on it. Thankfully she heard a clicking noise and heard the chains fall away from the door, so she knew that everything was going to be alright now.
She entered through the door and saw another keystone plaque on the wall with a star shape indentation in it and knew that she needed to find herself a star key to use on it.
She looked around the room and saw a well in there, so she went over to inspect it. She didn't find the keystone laying around the well, so she thought that maybe she should get inside of it and search around the bottom of it.
So as she was diving head first into the well, she was hoping that this well doesn't go on forever and that she's able to get back to this room. As she was swimming through the tunnels, she saw a light and had to make a choice of coming back or going towards the light and so she chose to go towards the light in hopes that's where the star shaped keystone is. Once she reaches the top of the dive well and she climbs out, she spots a chest on the opposite end of the room. So she heads on over to it and opens it up and sees the keystone inside, so she grabs it and and places it into her bag before diving back into the dive well.
She managers to make it back to the 1st dive well despite the keystone being a little heavy but she did it anyhow as she knew that she needed to get this adventure over with so that she can see what other adventures needed to be done before heading back home in Appaloosa Plains.
Once she gets out of the dive well, she takes the keystone out of her bag and places it in the star into the hole so that it can open the door. She goes inside and raids the chests inside of the room where she finds a dive well fragment, the ancient relic that she needs for the quest and a Chinese Broken Vase as well as some more coins.
Once she's done in there, she heads on back up the hill to Jiannan Lu to give her the relic that she requested. Amanda had collected a total of 79 ancient coins while she was in the Hall of the Lost Army.
Nothing yet. I'm starting over, but first I'm going through my Mods folder(Overrides and Packages) and seeing if I have duplicates of anything I installed. Turns out, I did, in terms of hair. Fixed it. Lol.

Working on installing Showtime currently. I’m using my phone to type this as downloading is taking most of my internet speed. I’ll be back to feedback sometime this week, whenever I get everything reinstalled.
For my story, it’ll incorporate two of my favorite families I’ve played. For the Steels, the family will be similar to generations one and two of the Langerak save. To incorporate Ava Sinclair, she’ll be Emily Steels best friend from high school. Both will be around 21 years old but being Sims, aging isn’t realistic. Here are the stories incorporated in the big save.
Sinclair
Ava Sinclair was the very first Sim I shared on the forums. She was initially a test of genetics, by making townies have children, and those children had children. The result was an early version of Ava. Then, I edited her to make her a bit prettier. In the first save I shared with her, I had her have a fling with Boyd Wainwright. Susan never found out and Avery Wainwright was born. Soon after, they split up and Ava married Hank Goddard. Brittany Goddard was born and the two sisters grew up. Avery married one of Marty and Justine’s children while Brittany never married. However, alternate version Brittany attempted the Ultimate Sim Challenge three times. I still plan on playing the latest version. Anyway, I decided to do a prequel where it’s revealed that Ava’s parents are evil. I fleshed out a backstory that will also appear in this new save. I won’t go into details here but you can find the prequel in my discussions.
Steel (Jones/Langerak)
Emily Jones was a witch who got rich very quickly when an apple was transformed into Tiberium. She married Christopher Steel and they had a son named Eric Jones and a daughter named Jessica Jones. Eric used an elixir to become a wizard as well but Jessica was normal. Eric was heir and he married Fawn Ursine while Jessica married Tommy Bunch. Christopher cloned himself, creating Christian Jones. Eric and Fawn had a daughter named Melanie. She became a werewolf, married Dwight Langerak, and had triplets named Ariana, Abigail and Evan. Ariana won the heir contest, married Quinton Sekemoto, and had a plantsim named Daisy. To incorporate this story, probably only the first two generations will return.

Towards dawn Bekka wakes and looks out the window, peering through the frosted panes. More snow. She smiles loving this time of year. Closing her eyes, she asks the Fates to keep Jamie safe as he travels and thanks them for another glorious morning. Opening her eyes, the moon disappears behind the mountain. Rebecca is an early riser and this her favorite time of day. The town is peaceful but will awaken before long. Her cats are still lying in their beds curled up and sleeping soundly.The only sound is her coffee machine gurgling as it prepares her morning brew. The timer is always set to go off and be ready early in the mornings. She writes in her journal so it will be ready for her appointment later today. Pouring herself a cup, she carries her mug to the studio and spends some time conscientiously working on designs for her prospective clients.
Layla is up early as well considering all the rest she obtained yesterday. She dresses and goes downstairs and prepares breakfast. Crepes, one of her favorites. Damien arrives in the room just as she sits down. “Grab a plate and join me,” she tells him.
“You should be resting, you did not need to get up and cook.”
“I’m tired of resting and needed to move around and do something. I love crepes and love making them. I was delighted to find all the ingredients I required in your kitchen, which is horrible by the way.”
“They are delicious,” he tells her as he dispatches the ones on his plate and goes back for seconds. ”The kitchen renovation is first on Rebecca’s list.”
Mary wakes up and laughs watching Sherlock play with his ball. She showers and changes and goes downstairs.
Mary comes in and they talk while she eats. Layla tells them she wants to go over the prophecy once breakfast is done. Mary enjoys her crepes and finishes quickly. “We need to learn how to make these Damien. They are delicious.”
“I can teach you both how to make them,” Layla offers.
“That would be awesome.” Mary beams a smile at her.
Bekka finishes in her studio and tries to call Jamie. There is no answer. She sends him a text. ‘Good morning. I hope the flight was good and you got some rest. Miss you. Xoxoxo.’
Almost immediately after closing her phone, Bekka receives a call. She answers, “Jamie!” without looking at the ID.
“Sorry Rebecca, it’s just me Damien. I wanted to let you know the truck just arrived with appliances and cabinets and lots of other lovely things. I peeked inside when the driver opened to start unloading.”
“That is terrific. I’ll be there in about fifteen minutes to be sure everything is as it should be. Don’t let him talk you into signing anything until I’ve checked.The company is good, but they have made a few mistakes on recent orders so I’m checking every item against what I ordered.”
“No problem. I will let you deal with him. Oh...by the way, I got a text from Jamie sometime during the night. He arrived safely. He didn’t sleep on the plane. He never sleeps on a plane. I think he feels like he needs to be awake to help the pilot. He’s going to sleep for a couple of hours and then head out to find the witch and the materials.”
“Thank you for letting me know. I did try calling and didn’t get an answer. I hope I didn’t wake him.” She softly smiles knowing he arrived safely and is probably still sleeping.
Layla calls Damien and Mary into the living room to sit on the floor. Damien begs her not to try any more meditation. She tells him not to worry, she won’t attempt to contact the Fates until she is restored from the curse. “I’m used to sitting on the ground rather than furniture. Yes, I know it is a little uncivilized but it is our way to connect with the spirits, the earth, our surroundings.”
She sits down and gets comfortable as Damien and Mary both sit across from her.
“For some reason, known only to the Fates and not revealed to me as to why, the Fates tied Mary’s spirit life to winter. When spring arrives, she is propelled into the netherworld where she is unaware of the passage of time, neither flesh nor spirit. Mary, Jamie said you noticed periods of time when several years passed when you returned. Are you sure of this?"
"Yes, one of the first things I would do is check the date when I returned either using the newspaper, radio or the computer. I have a diary I kept with the dates and the new discoveries I found when I would return."
Damien looks from Layla to Mary. "What has the time got to do with anything?"
"I think the cycle must be disrupted in order for Mary to stay all year round."
"The prophecy says not to fear spring and love is the key. I love Mary with all my heart and soul. She is my soulmate. I am hers. Is that enough to prevent her from disappearing in spring?"
"I can't answer that with certainty, Damien. I wish I could. It is still a possibility that she will go back into the netherworld. As usual, the fates are as clear as mud and I cannot make heads or tails out of the meaning. Jamie is correct you are soulmates. If Mary had not suffered an untimely death, your souls would have met in the past. After the curse is lifted, I will speak to the Fates and request guidance about you, Damien. Perhaps the meaning may be made clear with your prophecy. Alternatively, it may muddy the waters even more.”
Layla shrugs, “That is the way of the Fates. We can only try and seek guidance. They don't always like to give it.”
Bekka arrives as the others finish their chat and is anxious to get started. She chats briefly with Damien and Mary before they head to the library to start the next investigation and be out of her way.
Layla asks Bekka for a moment of her time. “I was sorry to hear of Jerich’s passing. He was a dashing and hard working man when I knew him. You could depend on him. He was very encouraging when the Fates called me to serve as Oracle.”
“Thank you for telling me that. I didn’t know him well as I was very young when he passed.”
“You seem to have inherited his ginger hair, or at least partially.”
“That is what my Mom always told me. She said I inherited my independence from him as well; only she called it stubbornness.” Bekka grins at Layla.
“He could be a little stubborn but he usually had a compelling reason behind it. I’m sure you do too. I will get out of your way, so you can get to work. I will be resting upstairs.”
“I hope the noise does not disturb you.”
Bekka tears out the old cabinets and they are sent to a recycling center. The old stove is sent to an antique store, and Damien will collect a nice check from them. The room is empty and Bekka uses her powers to spotlessly clean the entire room.
The back wall of the kitchen is quickly demolished. She discovers a few bottles of extremely old nectar, some empty crates and lots of cobwebs in the space. She cleans it up using her powers. Damien and Mary's vision is to modernize the inside to look more like a home, rather than a holiday lodge. It also needs improved insulation to be warmer in winter. She installs insulation and wallboard over the rock wall, primes and paints it twilight blue. The cabinets are added next with the modern appliances. Bekka lays new flooring in the kitchen, but the floors in the rest of the downstairs will be done last. She adds a few plants and herbs to surprise Damien and Mary when they return. Bekka places a cookie jar on the shelf with fresh chocolate chip cookies baked this morning. She looks around and is delighted with her work so far. Suddenly, realizing the time, she stops her work and washes up. Her appointment with Dr Pena is in fifteen minutes. She will have to soar down the mountain to get to the hospital in time.

All 11 members of the household plus 2 cats are seen around the house and elsewhere.
The video begins with all 11 of the sims dancing or playing horseshoes at the Spring Festival after their egg hunt seen in Episode 29.
We see them working on skills, reading books and enjoying each other's company.
In the second half of the video the focus is on Wilfred and Wendy. They start out this episode as Best Friends but by the end of the episode romance has changed their friendship and they eventually become engaged.
Their bachelor and bachelorette parties and wedding and eventual return to Cake Island will happen in Episode 31.
@bekkasan nice update. There seems to be some hope of a solution to the mystery and the new kitchen decor is nice. I like the new plants. I did wonder if removing the old kitchen might have some repurcussions though - considering the magic and mystery involved here.
If it is grandchildren - none that count yet. Any who are born prior to all of the marriages being completed and me going to stay in Gerri's house when she lives alone after all of her children have moved out after their marriages, then the count will begin. To get the badge to trigger my research tells me I must be logged into the site and can never leave Gerri's household. She must be active for all 30 births. There are a few grandchildren already born but not many and none of them will count towards the 30 needed to get the badge.

I started giving the pairs the same first letter of their first name as once I made a few potential spouses I had problems remembering who was made for which child of Gerri's and they need to stay with the sim each was made for as they share specific traits.
This is the group of the potential spouses not yet married to one of Gerri's young adult children.
They are L to R Lionel, Karen, Mark, Dave, Stan, Daryl, Clarice, Jack and Chris.
Daryl and Dave are currently living in Cake Island in the main household where they are getting to know their future wives Delores and Demetria.
If it's the number of Imaginary Friends made real so far - a lot.
This is the first seven made real and put out into the world to live as townies in their own homes.

Bill was the IF of Javon's wife, Gwen (the only spouse to have an Imaginary Friend)

Josie has since married and had a baby boy. I think she married Colin who was Alecia's IF made real. Since both parents are Imaginary Friends, I assume the baby will have inherited this occult state from his parents.

Byron was Wilfred's IF. Byron is in a long term relationship with Edith who is a sim I made and added to the game at the very beginning.
At this point I started getting a bit more creative with the makeovers of the Imaginary Friends when they are made real.

Percy got a hair cut later on as I was worried that hair might be adding lag to the game. But lag continues. I liked him better with his long hair as he looked more menacing. He is an evil sim.
All of the Imaginary Friends made real shown above this point have learned their skills and read their books and been moved out to live in their own homes as townies.
Clara was the imaginary Friend of Megan
Clara has the unstable trait and she is currently insane too. I'm hoping she loses the unstable trait before she moves out. A forced change of traits might be in her future.
Rachael was the Imaginary Friend of Latoya
Rachael and Clara are currently living in the Potential Spouses household in The Great Southern Land where they are learning their skills and reading books. Once sufficiently trained they will return to Cake Island and move to their own homes to live there are townies.
Joni, Constance and Kendall still have their imaginary friend dolls in their inventory. The final three imaginary friends will be made real after Rachael and Clara move out to live as townies.
So that's a summary of the goings on in the 30 Grandchildren Badge
There are a few other sims not mentioned above. They live as townies and include the father of the 15 young adults who are Gerrie's children. He is Tony McLean. Tony has met a townie I added to the game and they live together with their toddler son.
There are a few other sims I added at the start of the game who are townies plus at least one other sim I made for some reason I now forget and she has also become a townie. I think I needed her to help me send sims to some other world. There are a variety of other worlds the various couples have visited for their vacations prior to getting married. As you can see from above there will be a lot of additional marriages before the 30 grandchild count will commence. I can't commence the count until after I have completed changing households. I will need to stay put in Gerri's household throughout the births of all 30 grandchildren for the game to count them all.

Mary was at home binge watching the hit show "Sims Kitchen" on the Cooking Channel where she had learned a variety of recipes such as Frog Legs, Vegetarian Chili, Fish & Chips, Chili Con Carne, Cheese Plate, Hot & Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Bouillabaisse, Ratatouille, Mushroom Omelette, Cookies, Shawama and Fruit Parfait. She knew how to do some of them before but didn't realize that there was different ways to prepare them. So now she has a total of 29 recipes that she can fix plus now she has the "Menu Maven" in her book as well as being level 4 in cooking.
Amanda was upstairs practicing her painting. She could only start with a small and when she was done, it was worth 3 simoleons, so she kept it as it wasn't worth anything to sell it.
Lily was outside reading the newspaper so she can keep up with all of the daily news around town.
Charles went outside to work on the cars engine as we wants to get the car done before winter sets in.
Amanda went downstairs after she was done with her painting and asked her mom how her day was going. Mary told her about some of the recipes that she just learned from 'Sims Kitchen' and Amanda told her mom about the painting that she just did. Then Amanda told her about the athletic opportunity that she just got to go to Shang Simla to do, so her mom had asked if she was taking Daniel with her and Amanda told her that she hadn't even said anything to him yet about it.
After Amanda got done talking with her mom, she called Daniel up and asked him to come over as she has something that she want's to tell him. So when he got done with his side job, he came right on over and give Amanda a loving kiss.
After they were done kissing and had pulled away from each other, Amanda went on to tell him about her upcoming trip to China and wanted to know if he wanted to go with her and he said yes. So she called the travel agency to get 2 round trip tickets to Shang Simla and when the travel agent had asked for their travel Visa information, she gave them hers but Daniel said he never got a travel Visa before as he didn't know if he ever was going to do any traveling. So Amanda was only able to get 1 ticket for herself as it was too late in the evening for Daniel to apply for one.
Once Amanda had landed and was taken to the base camp, she went and checked the adventure board to see what events and activities was taking place for that day. So she saw an adventure that wants her to go to the Halls of the Lost Army and decided that would be a fun adventure to do. But before she had to go there, she had to go meet with Jiannan Lu to get more info on what she needed to do as well as get the 1st keystone that she would need once she figures out how to unlock the secret entrance to the catacombs that lay beneath the Hall.
So once she accepted the adventure from the board, she pulls out her broom and make her way up the hill to where Jiannan Lu lives. Once she gets there, she goes over and introduces herself to Jiannan Lu and told her that she was here for the adventure that she had posted on the board at the base camp.
After chatting with Jiannan Lu, she headed back down the hill and went towards the center of town where she decided to see what Biyu Shen has to offer but her wares couldn't be brought yet as Amanda needed to have some Visa points towards her Travel Visa.
After talking to Biyu Shen, Amanda headed on over to the Hall of the Lost Army where she noticed a strange tile on the floor that didn't look like the rest of the flooring, so she went and stepped on it to see if it would do anything. Once she stepped on it, it revealed a hidden staircase that led downstairs to the catacombs.
Once she got downstairs and had did a search of the hallway, she spotted the key shaped plaque on the wall that was the same shape of the keystone that Jiannan Lu had given her.
So Amanda had pulled the keystone out of her travel bag and hefted it up as high as she could so that she could get the keystone into the plaque. She had to try it a few times as she kept missing the hole in the plaque but finally got it in.
After she had managed to get it in and had pushed as hard as she could, the chains on the door had unlocked and fallen to reveal another room. Once she entered into the room, she saw another odd floor tile as well as a heavy looking statue. She studied the statue and the floor tile for a bit to figure out what she needs to do to get the door unlock so that she can see what's on the other side of it.
Once she figures out that she needed to pull the statue so that it sits on the odd tile, she moves it and the door unlocks to reveal another room with the same statue and odd tile. So she goes in and has to push that one onto the tile so that the other tile can be stepped on to unlock the door.

That sound like fun. I often end up with twins for some of my sims when I add households from my library to the game and end up with the same sim two or more times. Instead of getting rid of the extras I change the name of the latest additions to the save and use Master Controller to make them siblings. Once I made them cousins but that took too much work to do often. I had to make parents for each of them and then make their grandparents too. I made the parents and grandparents as ghosts so I wouldn't have to play them. I don't know why I bothered, but I probably just wanted to see if it'd work. It worked.

I couldn't tell you what pages they're on though since they're pretty spread out. I actually need to update my signature, but I guess I've been pretty lazy about it.

I had two create Aladdin and two thief buddies for him, then i had to create Jasmine, the Sultan, Jafar and Rajah (he's just a cat). Then I got Jafar to go send Aladdin to Egypt to retrieve something for him (I don't have Showtime so it was not the lamp) Then I tried to get Jafar to create a zombie army for his Zombie Master Lifetime wish ( I technically failed because by the time I got his magic to level 10 for the Reanimation ritual, most of the graves in the graveyard were empty). I am currently at the point where Aladdin has to marry Jasmine and have kids to start Generation 2.
It's a beautiful day out here in Moonlight Falls; y'know the kind of day that makes you wish that the weather could stay like this for the rest of your time there. Not too hot, not too cold, the temperature is just right and the humidity is just perfect so that the breezes are cool and the sun is just the right degree of warmth. Heck it's the perfect day for fishing.
River: It's gorgeous out here. I could drop a worm in the water for hours and enjoy the weather out here.
Bebe: The pond's nice and the breeze coming off the water is great. I can hear the waterfall just over the way there.
Haruo: Oh, I sure hope the two of them don't castrate me. I think I'll stay here and fish for the rest of my existence if it keeps me intact.
River: I just realized I need a big knife to clean off these fish. I wonder if the grocery store carries knives.

A note has come from “Ent”. The fall meeting will not make place this year, as both of the St. John brother are fighting the dangerous Otocephala, commonly known as Fish Disease. They will be sick for a long time and might even die from it. Instead, Lone St. John and Queny Wilson would come to Greg’s River. They would be staying for a while, to examine the state of the colony.

Botan apologised saying it was nothing personal, Andy calmed down. It all ended in a fine evening with dinner and guitar.
When not working Simon Stone was very particular keeping his small cottage clean and neat, hoping for a special visitor. Sadly, she hasn’t come around yet.

When the teens were off to school Liz took a breather.

She pushed and pushed until the electricity coming from the floor had stopped and then it was safe to walk around the statue. Once she got to the other side of the room, she saw a pile of debris sitting on top of the floor tile that she needs to use to open the next doorway in the catacombs.
She needed to look around the room for anything that she could use to remove the debris and found that there was an pickaxe laying close by and went over to get it. As she was getting ready to make the first hit on the debris, she said out loud that she wished that Daniel was here to help her with pushing and pulling the heavy statues and to use the pickaxe. She just kept using curse words as she kept swinging away with the pickaxe until the debris was cleared enough away from the floor tile so that she can use it.
But once she had stepped on the tile, it didn't open the door that was next to it but instead opened up the wall opposite of the locked door revealing a hidden room. So she went inside of it and saw more statues and she needed to move to get to the chests that was in the room. She found a Crystal Cut Jade, 2high quality dried food and some ancient coins that she threw in her bag that she was carrying with her. She would count those later once she was done with this adventure as she doesn't have the time to do so now.
As she was exiting the hidden room, she saw another hole in the wall and went over to check it out. She put her hand inside hoping that there wasn't anything in there that could harm her and felt around until she felt something the left like a rope and pulled on it. Thankfully she heard a clicking noise and heard the chains fall away from the door, so she knew that everything was going to be alright now.
She entered through the door and saw another keystone plaque on the wall with a star shape indentation in it and knew that she needed to find herself a star key to use on it.
She looked around the room and saw a well in there, so she went over to inspect it. She didn't find the keystone laying around the well, so she thought that maybe she should get inside of it and search around the bottom of it.
So as she was diving head first into the well, she was hoping that this well doesn't go on forever and that she's able to get back to this room. As she was swimming through the tunnels, she saw a light and had to make a choice of coming back or going towards the light and so she chose to go towards the light in hopes that's where the star shaped keystone is. Once she reaches the top of the dive well and she climbs out, she spots a chest on the opposite end of the room. So she heads on over to it and opens it up and sees the keystone inside, so she grabs it and and places it into her bag before diving back into the dive well.
She managers to make it back to the 1st dive well despite the keystone being a little heavy but she did it anyhow as she knew that she needed to get this adventure over with so that she can see what other adventures needed to be done before heading back home in Appaloosa Plains.
Once she gets out of the dive well, she takes the keystone out of her bag and places it in the star into the hole so that it can open the door. She goes inside and raids the chests inside of the room where she finds a dive well fragment, the ancient relic that she needs for the quest and a Chinese Broken Vase as well as some more coins.
Once she's done in there, she heads on back up the hill to Jiannan Lu to give her the relic that she requested. Amanda had collected a total of 79 ancient coins while she was in the Hall of the Lost Army.

Clear as Mud
Towards dawn Bekka wakes and looks out the window, peering through the frosted panes. More snow. She smiles loving this time of year. Closing her eyes, she asks the Fates to keep Jamie safe as he travels and thanks them for another glorious morning. Opening her eyes, the moon disappears behind the mountain. Rebecca is an early riser and this her favorite time of day. The town is peaceful but will awaken before long. Her cats are still lying in their beds curled up and sleeping soundly.The only sound is her coffee machine gurgling as it prepares her morning brew. The timer is always set to go off and be ready early in the mornings. She writes in her journal so it will be ready for her appointment later today. Pouring herself a cup, she carries her mug to the studio and spends some time conscientiously working on designs for her prospective clients.
Layla is up early as well considering all the rest she obtained yesterday. She dresses and goes downstairs and prepares breakfast. Crepes, one of her favorites. Damien arrives in the room just as she sits down. “Grab a plate and join me,” she tells him.
“You should be resting, you did not need to get up and cook.”
“I’m tired of resting and needed to move around and do something. I love crepes and love making them. I was delighted to find all the ingredients I required in your kitchen, which is horrible by the way.”
“They are delicious,” he tells her as he dispatches the ones on his plate and goes back for seconds. ”The kitchen renovation is first on Rebecca’s list.”
Mary wakes up and laughs watching Sherlock play with his ball. She showers and changes and goes downstairs.
Mary comes in and they talk while she eats. Layla tells them she wants to go over the prophecy once breakfast is done. Mary enjoys her crepes and finishes quickly. “We need to learn how to make these Damien. They are delicious.”
“I can teach you both how to make them,” Layla offers.
“That would be awesome.” Mary beams a smile at her.
Bekka finishes in her studio and tries to call Jamie. There is no answer. She sends him a text. ‘Good morning. I hope the flight was good and you got some rest. Miss you. Xoxoxo.’
Almost immediately after closing her phone, Bekka receives a call. She answers, “Jamie!” without looking at the ID.
“Sorry Rebecca, it’s just me Damien. I wanted to let you know the truck just arrived with appliances and cabinets and lots of other lovely things. I peeked inside when the driver opened to start unloading.”
“That is terrific. I’ll be there in about fifteen minutes to be sure everything is as it should be. Don’t let him talk you into signing anything until I’ve checked.The company is good, but they have made a few mistakes on recent orders so I’m checking every item against what I ordered.”
“No problem. I will let you deal with him. Oh...by the way, I got a text from Jamie sometime during the night. He arrived safely. He didn’t sleep on the plane. He never sleeps on a plane. I think he feels like he needs to be awake to help the pilot. He’s going to sleep for a couple of hours and then head out to find the witch and the materials.”
“Thank you for letting me know. I did try calling and didn’t get an answer. I hope I didn’t wake him.” She softly smiles knowing he arrived safely and is probably still sleeping.
Layla calls Damien and Mary into the living room to sit on the floor. Damien begs her not to try any more meditation. She tells him not to worry, she won’t attempt to contact the Fates until she is restored from the curse. “I’m used to sitting on the ground rather than furniture. Yes, I know it is a little uncivilized but it is our way to connect with the spirits, the earth, our surroundings.”
She sits down and gets comfortable as Damien and Mary both sit across from her.
“For some reason, known only to the Fates and not revealed to me as to why, the Fates tied Mary’s spirit life to winter. When spring arrives, she is propelled into the netherworld where she is unaware of the passage of time, neither flesh nor spirit. Mary, Jamie said you noticed periods of time when several years passed when you returned. Are you sure of this?"
"Yes, one of the first things I would do is check the date when I returned either using the newspaper, radio or the computer. I have a diary I kept with the dates and the new discoveries I found when I would return."
Damien looks from Layla to Mary. "What has the time got to do with anything?"
"I think the cycle must be disrupted in order for Mary to stay all year round."
"The prophecy says not to fear spring and love is the key. I love Mary with all my heart and soul. She is my soulmate. I am hers. Is that enough to prevent her from disappearing in spring?"
"I can't answer that with certainty, Damien. I wish I could. It is still a possibility that she will go back into the netherworld. As usual, the fates are as clear as mud and I cannot make heads or tails out of the meaning. Jamie is correct you are soulmates. If Mary had not suffered an untimely death, your souls would have met in the past. After the curse is lifted, I will speak to the Fates and request guidance about you, Damien. Perhaps the meaning may be made clear with your prophecy. Alternatively, it may muddy the waters even more.”
Layla shrugs, “That is the way of the Fates. We can only try and seek guidance. They don't always like to give it.”
Bekka arrives as the others finish their chat and is anxious to get started. She chats briefly with Damien and Mary before they head to the library to start the next investigation and be out of her way.
Layla asks Bekka for a moment of her time. “I was sorry to hear of Jerich’s passing. He was a dashing and hard working man when I knew him. You could depend on him. He was very encouraging when the Fates called me to serve as Oracle.”
“Thank you for telling me that. I didn’t know him well as I was very young when he passed.”
“You seem to have inherited his ginger hair, or at least partially.”
“That is what my Mom always told me. She said I inherited my independence from him as well; only she called it stubbornness.” Bekka grins at Layla.
“He could be a little stubborn but he usually had a compelling reason behind it. I’m sure you do too. I will get out of your way, so you can get to work. I will be resting upstairs.”
“I hope the noise does not disturb you.”
Bekka tears out the old cabinets and they are sent to a recycling center. The old stove is sent to an antique store, and Damien will collect a nice check from them. The room is empty and Bekka uses her powers to spotlessly clean the entire room.
The back wall of the kitchen is quickly demolished. She discovers a few bottles of extremely old nectar, some empty crates and lots of cobwebs in the space. She cleans it up using her powers. Damien and Mary's vision is to modernize the inside to look more like a home, rather than a holiday lodge. It also needs improved insulation to be warmer in winter. She installs insulation and wallboard over the rock wall, primes and paints it twilight blue. The cabinets are added next with the modern appliances. Bekka lays new flooring in the kitchen, but the floors in the rest of the downstairs will be done last. She adds a few plants and herbs to surprise Damien and Mary when they return. Bekka places a cookie jar on the shelf with fresh chocolate chip cookies baked this morning. She looks around and is delighted with her work so far. Suddenly, realizing the time, she stops her work and washes up. Her appointment with Dr Pena is in fifteen minutes. She will have to soar down the mountain to get to the hospital in time.

All 11 members of the household plus 2 cats are seen around the house and elsewhere.
The video begins with all 11 of the sims dancing or playing horseshoes at the Spring Festival after their egg hunt seen in Episode 29.
We see them working on skills, reading books and enjoying each other's company.
In the second half of the video the focus is on Wilfred and Wendy. They start out this episode as Best Friends but by the end of the episode romance has changed their friendship and they eventually become engaged.
Their bachelor and bachelorette parties and wedding and eventual return to Cake Island will happen in Episode 31.

If it is grandchildren - none that count yet. Any who are born prior to all of the marriages being completed and me going to stay in Gerri's house when she lives alone after all of her children have moved out after their marriages, then the count will begin. To get the badge to trigger my research tells me I must be logged into the site and can never leave Gerri's household. She must be active for all 30 births. There are a few grandchildren already born but not many and none of them will count towards the 30 needed to get the badge.

I started giving the pairs the same first letter of their first name as once I made a few potential spouses I had problems remembering who was made for which child of Gerri's and they need to stay with the sim each was made for as they share specific traits.
This is the group of the potential spouses not yet married to one of Gerri's young adult children.
They are L to R Lionel, Karen, Mark, Dave, Stan, Daryl, Clarice, Jack and Chris.
Daryl and Dave are currently living in Cake Island in the main household where they are getting to know their future wives Delores and Demetria.
If it's the number of Imaginary Friends made real so far - a lot.
This is the first seven made real and put out into the world to live as townies in their own homes.

Byron was Wilfred's IF. Byron is in a long term relationship with Edith who is a sim I made and added to the game at the very beginning.
At this point I started getting a bit more creative with the makeovers of the Imaginary Friends when they are made real.

Clara was the imaginary Friend of Megan
Clara has the unstable trait and she is currently insane too. I'm hoping she loses the unstable trait before she moves out. A forced change of traits might be in her future.
Rachael was the Imaginary Friend of Latoya
Rachael and Clara are currently living in the Potential Spouses household in The Great Southern Land where they are learning their skills and reading books. Once sufficiently trained they will return to Cake Island and move to their own homes to live there are townies.
Joni, Constance and Kendall still have their imaginary friend dolls in their inventory. The final three imaginary friends will be made real after Rachael and Clara move out to live as townies.
So that's a summary of the goings on in the 30 Grandchildren Badge
There are a few other sims not mentioned above. They live as townies and include the father of the 15 young adults who are Gerrie's children. He is Tony McLean. Tony has met a townie I added to the game and they live together with their toddler son.
There are a few other sims I added at the start of the game who are townies plus at least one other sim I made for some reason I now forget and she has also become a townie. I think I needed her to help me send sims to some other world. There are a variety of other worlds the various couples have visited for their vacations prior to getting married. As you can see from above there will be a lot of additional marriages before the 30 grandchild count will commence. I can't commence the count until after I have completed changing households. I will need to stay put in Gerri's household throughout the births of all 30 grandchildren for the game to count them all.
