Oh my goodness Wolfgang is gonna break my heart, he's so in love and so sweet. Not only does he have romantic feelings for Sakura, but he also cares about her so deeply, it's nice that his love is very unselfish and that he puts Sakura and her feelings first. I've said it before, but I hope that Sakura chooses him...Kiyoshi isn't terrible, but he's no Wolfgang

@Ellupelluellu Oooh, great renovations, love that it's a trailer now, and it has such a great Strangerville vibe. Fits right in with the surroundings. Your garden is especially lovely too. At some point, I want to really work on Jules' garden too and hopefully have one of every plant. Or at least a more diverse selection than I do now. I kind of gave up on Jules' garden last month when I didn't have space for it. She won't have time or space at the beginning of this next month, but hopefully after the mystery. Also I see you have a rocket ship ready to build too, that will be useful for several aspirations, and also it fits in with the whole Strangerville vibe too!

Thanks for the welcome. I have been out of the game for awhile dealing with life and all that stuff, so I am hoping this will get me back into the game, one day at a time. I still need to go through and read all of the other stories - on my list.

@permanentrose I would LOVE a recap, honestly. Dunno about sassy, but I know I would for sure love to know what happened before I started reading. I haven't had time to go back and start from the beginning of the thread, and I don't know that I will actually find that much time in the near future. I'd like to, obviously, but I stream sims live 6 days a week, plus playing and writing my blog, and now this challenge. Somewhere in there I have other things to do, too. LOL!

There's a little background info on my first post for Jules here. She started out in Willow Creek, where her best friend Emmett lived as well. Jules and Emmett have been friends since they were toddlers. She ended up going to his house a lot to fill her needs and get on her feet. She started dating Mario Harrison at this time. At the end of the month, Mario's grandmother got sick, so he moved from his dad's house to his mom and grandma's house to help out with his grandma and two younger sisters.
Which brings us to February, where Jules moved to Windenburg. Jules wanted to support Mario and didn't want to live so far away, so her cousin, Bex, who owned a cottage on the island, offered Jules her place. During this month, Jules was asked to join the Renegades, thus bringing the Villareal family into her circle. Emmett's girlfriend, Brittany, was part of the rival club, the Paragons, and things got pretty tense between those two. Jules also joined a club of girls who loved learning called the Curiosity Club, where she met Kaori Nishidake. During this month, her cousin, Bex, who is a secret agent, asked Jules to help her out with a mission. Bex suspected Jacques Villareal to be involved in the unexpected death of their parents, who were also secret agents, so Bex needed Jules to plant a bug on Jacques. Jules gained access to the Villareal mansion by seducing Hugo Villareal and gaining his trust. Mario and Jules began to fight a lot as well - Mario always wanted to keep tabs on her (and the mission with Bex especially put a strain in their relationship), and Jules just wanted freedom. They decided they wanted different things in life, and eventually broke up. Jules moved back in with her cousin, Bex, who lived on the mainland, and Mario kept the house on the island since his mother's home was so cramped and he needed his own space. At the end of March, Jules discovered she was pregnant with Mario's child.
Instead of telling her family and Mario about the baby, Jules left a note that she needed some space to figure things out, and ended up going to stay with her friend Kaori in Mt. Komorebi. Kaori helped her find her own place to live as well. For a while, Jules kept her pregnancy a secret from everyone in her life, and ended up bonding with her neighbor, Lydia Greenwood. Jules and Lydia ended up falling in love, and Jules was content to hide from the rest of the world as her pregnancy progressed. But back in Windenburg, Hugo was intent on finding Jules, since he had been quite taken with her. He enlisted the help of Emmett and Mario, and together, the three of them tracked her down in Mt. Komorebi and discovered she was pregnant. Mario was upset at first that she hadn't told him, but he wanted to be part of the baby's life. Hugo and Jules ended up being quite good friends, and it really gave her a chance to reconnect with Emmett as well. Jules then gave birth to a baby girl who she named Ruby. Things were going well in Mt. Komorebi and she was still in a relationship with Lydia, but Lydia had a dark secret - she was a vampire and the daughter of Vlad (lol, I know, this story is getting wild ). Long story short, Lydia ended up having to confront her past, and she and Jules parted ways...at least for now.
In April, Jules moved in with her sister, Dell, and her sister's wife, Sofia, who lived in Britechester, so she could attend university. Jules chose to major in communications at Britechester. I decided to do the serial romantic aspiration with Jules this month, so she ended up kissing a bunch of people and even having a one night stand, before she felt like she was losing touch with herself. Emmett was a comfort to her at this time. Jules graduated and got a job as a journalist. Mario, her ex-boyfriend and father of Ruby, got married, and at the wedding, Jules and Emmett caught his girlfriend, Brittany, cheating on him. They broke up and Emmett joined the army. Things in life were going well, but one day, Jules got phone call from her sister, Dell, that their cousin Bex, was acting strange and seemed unwell. It turned out that Bex had gone to Strangerville and had come back possessed. There's a really strong chance that this is related to the mission that Jules helped Bex with in Windenburg, and that the Villareals are somehow involved. Hugo, always the good Villareal, has agreed to go to Strangerville with Jules to help her out as she tries to find the truth and help Bex. Jules has left her toddler daughter behind with her father, Mario, for the time being.
And that should bring you up to speed for tomorrow! Always feel free to ask questions though if you need clarification though!
Finished the entryway, dining room and kitchen remodel tweaks. At least what I can do until they move in later tonight.
Entryway - New wallpaper, recolored the table, mirror and made the half bath door all white. Probably won't do much more here except for a painting or photograph and maybe a plant.
Dining room - Added the fan, changed out the rug(s), added some clutter and recolored the stairs to white.
Had fun making a couple potted plants using MOO (though I see one has fallen down inside the pot. Opps!) and I just love that potted plant from the JTB pack. The curtains are different too.
Kitchen - Changed out the colors on almost everything in here. Dangit! Just noticed I forgot to put the rug back under the table. Opps! Anyway, love this breakfast nook. You've probably guessed by now I love that hanging plant. I use it everywhere!
New counters/cabinets.
Same on this side. New wallpaper and flooring as well.
Upstairs Main Bathroom - Worked on and finished, for now.
Same as the bedroom painting, I might keep this, but just threw it up there because I like the colors of it in here. Had fun looking for something to put in that shadow box. It's a flour canister from the Country Kitchen kit. I'm pretending they might store cotton balls or other small bathroom essentials in it.
*Note - The candles are actually light green but look yellow due to the yellow lighting. Can't wait to change that once they move in.

Finally threw up some walls in the big blank area upstairs. This is the landing area. Thinking about making this the 'office/study' area with another desk/computer, Essa's graduation photo, diploma, and other photos, etc.
The big middle room area will be a gym for Josh. He'll need to keep fit while he's in the military. Not that he isn't fit already. Added the closet just because. Always good to have more storage and you know it'll get used otherwise. If you get my drift. I'll also put their aquarium and other various items in here once they move in.
The last smaller room will be Essa's Art Studio. Her easel will go in front of the window, the canvas rack in the nook area and all her other career rewards scattered around along with paintings and photographs, etc.
Finally, (for now) gave them a pool/BBQ patio area in the backyard. Also used a little terrain paint on top of the pebbles lilsimsie had there. I decided to put a copy of their current basement with the garden and the art gallery rooms in my library and place them here instead of making a Greenhouse. I decided they'd like a pool much more out back since it's so hot in Strangerville.
Put a steam/bubbler ornate grate and some fun turtles in the pool.
Love those turtles, they're so cute!
Closer look at the BBQ/Lounge area. Lilsimsie had a trash can where the BBQ is now located. I moved it out front and kind of hid it behind a large potted plant.
Overhead Backyard view. That's all for now! I'll finish the second floor area and make all the final decoration touches tonight when they move in after midnight. Not sure if I'll add anything else for landscaping except maybe some lighting here and there. I don't like a lot of landscaping unlike most Simmers creations I see on the Gallery. I might put a tree or perhaps a hot tub/bar in the grassy area behind the diving platform though.
I'll work on comments in a bit. Need to make dinner first and a few other things. Exciting that we're now starting the fifth month of this challenge! I'm so happy to have all of you joining in with me on the fun! Hope y'all had a great day/night!
Well not much to say about this day. It was dark and dreary and we you can't join your sim for the graduation ceremony. I do enjoy the grad picture though and framed degree.
April 30th
Very shortly after graduation Roxanne was contacted for an interview with Military Intelligence. She was told it very important that she come. The choice was hers... but that it was a to serve the Simworld in the face looming disaster. Roxanne of course was very interested and intrigued. What could be happening in the world that she could help with? Why in the world would they be contacting a new graduate for something that sounded that important?
When she arrived at the Sim Intelligence building she was escorted in to see someone that identified himself as Special Agent Crawford. (Lol I totally ripped him out of my Hannibal save).
He got to the point quick. There was terrible happenings in the desert. People were getting sick... including military personnel, scientists and civilians. They wanted her because of her magical background, in addition to her intelligence and fitness. They had in fact been watching her for sometime. Agent Crawford did indicate there were many new agents also, they were recruiting fast. They were working on replacing those lost to the unknown scourge as quickly as possible. It was felt her magical abilities especially would come in handy in certain situations she.. or other agents she worked with might face.
If she accepted the postion she would be given housing and would be briefed further when she arrived at ground zero. Strangerville.

Moving In
I'm not going to copy all the pics for this post in here, because they're all captioned and everything on my blog. It's home and world pics, showing the changes I've made to the world for this save. Feel free to follow the link to the blog post to see all the pics. And.. this April 30th post means I'm 100% ready to start playing tomorrow. All MCCC and worlds are set up like I think I want them to start with, and everything is ready to go. Even have a backup save set up, just in case. Part of me can't WAIT for tomorrow, the rest is a bundle of nerves. Do not know which side is winning.

I thought I'd give a really short recap of Roxanne's life for the new people too. I don't tell a story like most others.. I'm just not that dedicated or feeling creative enough at times. Mostly I just try to keep up with posts and tell what Roxanne is doing. She lives day to day and challenge month to month. She's become a bit of a super sim and has maxed so many skills. She has a short temper at times and will kill or hurt someone who crosses her. She'll also do the same in protection of friends. (That part has only happened in my mind so far but I know it's true for her). She also has special imaginary friends... or maybe not imaginary? I'm not even sure I know. She hasn't had any deep romantic relationships though.. I'm not sure if she is capable of that. She can definitely go through the motions though. That said she is married to a robot Rubanoid. That's the safest marriage possible for her probably and for others maybe lol.
Roxanne's closest friends include Archibald.. an adult undertaker that lived with her for sometime in a haunted house and in Glimmerbrook and Clement who is Father Winter.. who may or may not be imaginary also. It's still my plan for Roxanne to have Father Winter's baby but things change so it's not set in stone.
She's killed and brought back Wolfgang who was being a peeping Tom and had bad plans for her and an older lady that crossed her in a bar. If she does that though she'll keep the tombstones because she can always bring them back.
She's a spellcaster, a paranormal investigator and now a covert agent.

Melody is a daughter of my avatar sim and Grimm... custom Grimm, called Greg Connors, I have to mention. Not the default one , what is not even in my game She met the blonde dude, as a teen, he liked to invite himself over to clean the house and laugh like a maniac after that.
So things went very slowly to a romance things Very slowly.
Malcolm (the blonde dude) , met her parents at the gym, when poor Paolo Rocca died (I needed to summon Grimm, Paolo, sorry) , he was not pleased to hear his girlfriend had a vampire parents plus also her dad was a Grimm (I exited without saving, so Paolo is really fine)
They will get back to that subject when that world is on use
Now they are maxed level spellcasters, and finishing the Uni from home And in rival universities

Well Hello Jazmyn, we've been waiting to meet you! She's a little cutie. I can understand completely given her family dynamic how she would dress (no choice due to hand-me-downs) and act more like her brothers. It's how she was raised. So sad how the kids at school bully her for it. Kids can be cruel, especially when they perceive someone as 'different.' Makes me sad how this happens in the real world too. We should be celebrating our differences, be original, be yourself, live and let live as the saying goes. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Jazmyn handles everything. Good luck to her!

It'll be so nice for Jules to have some familiar faces around to help her solve the mystery and cure Bex. Glad you were able to figure out how to give those traits to your Sims.
I saw the screenshots of your build in that thread. It looks really good! I tried the Country Kitchen kit stuff in Essa's kitchen, but the colors just weren't right for what I had in mind. However, I did use a canister...in the bathroom! Interesting how she won't be living there just yet. Never thought about moving around in the same world for the challenge.

Very cool that Mario and Becca will be taking care of Ruby while Jules is in Strangerville. So Hugo will be living with her while she's there? Guessing they'll just have a rental at first is why she'll be moving later on. Great idea having Jules get a Freelance job, will make things easier for her. Also good idea having the Nanny take care of Ruby while she's living with her Dad. It will give her a bit of continuity as you said.

Whoa! Didn't realize just how buff Wolfgang has become until this chapter! He looks great! I feel so bad for him though. He's so in love with Sakura, almost told her and then berates himself for taking too long to tell her. I hope he does tell her soon. I know she won't make a decision, as you've said, until Spring break, but she could still know beforehand and be thinking about it. Guessing she'll meet up with Kyoshi during Spring Break is the reason the decision will come at that time. Absolutely love that song! I've heard all three versions, very touching and emotional song. Very appropriate Wolfgang would be singing it now.
I thought that I had told you that. Blond Dude, will forever make me grin! Cheer up Malcom, it's a term of endearment you wouldn't get unless the Watcher loved you. Oh and yep, I checked out the lanterns in game and saw the one you used! It's great, but not exactly Victorian style. I tried using it around the pool, but it just didn't look right. I will definitely be using it in a near future build though.

Welcome to the challenge! Very interesting how you'll be starting with a toddler! So now we'll have almost all age groups currently playing, except Adult and Elder that is. Mia is adorable! So, as today is officially May 1st where I am, here's my beginning of this fun challenge. I'm going to follow most of the stuff @Karababy52 posted on the first page. These chapters are going to be one real day per one Sims day and because of that, pretty short. Easier for me to do it that way. I think as the days progress and my Sim has more stuff to do, the chapters may start to increase in size. We'll see. This is a work in progress, so I may end up editing things after the fact to make the story make more sense. But editing should be very limited hopefully.

Month 1 ~ Sulani ~ Day 1
Story
Day 1 (Sunday)
This is a story of the life of Jackson Rider. Jackson is an orphaned teenager. He has no parents. Not wanting to live in foster care, Jackson keeps it a secret that he is an orphan. But he still attends high school. What the school doesn’t know won’t hurt them, right? The school doesn’t know he’s an orphan.
Jackson makes his way to Sulani. A place where there’s tons of beaches and the weather is always nice no matter the season. This is something Jackson admires. Wanting to fit in, he gets a beachy style haircut and packs a wardrobe of nothing but summer clothes. He also has a cooler to store food and a tent to sleep in and keep him in some shade. After that, he is left with no simoleons.
Jackson found a secluded area where he thought he might be able to set up his tent. He is homeless, after all. He called this spot Key Point. It was his key point of living. To him it was an oceanic paradise and off-the-grid.
Jackson wanted to take it slow and enjoy the beach life. Yes, he would be going to high school. But when school was over, he didn’t have to worry about chores around the house. There was no one to nag him about doing this or that. He missed his parents, but he was going to live the good life.
Side Notes:
Jackson Rider is a game generated name. I thought it would be easier to go ahead and let the game name the Sim rather than me debating.
For the first month, since Jackson is living on Sulani, majority of his outfits will be from the Island Living pack.
After I settled him onto Key Point, I bought him a tent and a cooler. Then I cheat coded Jackson’s simoleons to 0.
Lot name and traits were fit into the chapter. I hope you enjoyed them.
I will be using the aspirations, traits, and whims to create the story.

They decided they wanted different things in life, and eventually broke up. Jules moved back in with her cousin, Bex, who lived on the mainland, and Mario kept the house on the island since his mother's home was so cramped and he needed his own space. At the end of March, Jules discovered she was pregnant with Mario's child.
Instead of telling her family and Mario about the baby, Jules left a note that she needed some space to figure things out, and ended up going to stay with her friend Kaori in Mt. Komorebi. Kaori helped her find her own place to live as well. For a while, Jules kept her pregnancy a secret from everyone in her life, and ended up bonding with her neighbor, Lydia Greenwood. Jules and Lydia ended up falling in love, and Jules was content to hide from the rest of the world as her pregnancy progressed. But back in Windenburg, Hugo was intent on finding Jules, since he had been quite taken with her. He enlisted the help of Emmett and Mario, and together, the three of them tracked her down in Mt. Komorebi and discovered she was pregnant. Mario was upset at first that she hadn't told him, but he wanted to be part of the baby's life. Hugo and Jules ended up being quite good friends, and it really gave her a chance to reconnect with Emmett as well. Jules then gave birth to a baby girl who she named Ruby. Things were going well in Mt. Komorebi and she was still in a relationship with Lydia, but Lydia had a dark secret - she was a vampire and the daughter of Vlad (lol, I know, this story is getting wild
In April, Jules moved in with her sister, Dell, and her sister's wife, Sofia, who lived in Britechester, so she could attend university. Jules chose to major in communications at Britechester. I decided to do the serial romantic aspiration with Jules this month, so she ended up kissing a bunch of people and even having a one night stand, before she felt like she was losing touch with herself. Emmett was a comfort to her at this time. Jules graduated and got a job as a journalist. Mario, her ex-boyfriend and father of Ruby, got married, and at the wedding, Jules and Emmett caught his girlfriend, Brittany, cheating on him. They broke up and Emmett joined the army. Things in life were going well, but one day, Jules got phone call from her sister, Dell, that their cousin Bex, was acting strange and seemed unwell. It turned out that Bex had gone to Strangerville and had come back possessed. There's a really strong chance that this is related to the mission that Jules helped Bex with in Windenburg, and that the Villareals are somehow involved. Hugo, always the good Villareal, has agreed to go to Strangerville with Jules to help her out as she tries to find the truth and help Bex. Jules has left her toddler daughter behind with her father, Mario, for the time being.

Notes
Finished the entryway, dining room and kitchen remodel tweaks. At least what I can do until they move in later tonight.
Entryway - New wallpaper, recolored the table, mirror and made the half bath door all white. Probably won't do much more here except for a painting or photograph and maybe a plant.
Dining room - Added the fan, changed out the rug(s), added some clutter and recolored the stairs to white.
Had fun making a couple potted plants using MOO (though I see one has fallen down inside the pot. Opps!) and I just love that potted plant from the JTB pack. The curtains are different too.
Kitchen - Changed out the colors on almost everything in here. Dangit! Just noticed I forgot to put the rug back under the table. Opps! Anyway, love this breakfast nook. You've probably guessed by now I love that hanging plant. I use it everywhere!
New counters/cabinets.
Same on this side. New wallpaper and flooring as well.
Upstairs Main Bathroom - Worked on and finished, for now.
Same as the bedroom painting, I might keep this, but just threw it up there because I like the colors of it in here. Had fun looking for something to put in that shadow box. It's a flour canister from the Country Kitchen kit. I'm pretending they might store cotton balls or other small bathroom essentials in it.
*Note - The candles are actually light green but look yellow due to the yellow lighting. Can't wait to change that once they move in.

Finally threw up some walls in the big blank area upstairs. This is the landing area. Thinking about making this the 'office/study' area with another desk/computer, Essa's graduation photo, diploma, and other photos, etc.
The big middle room area will be a gym for Josh. He'll need to keep fit while he's in the military. Not that he isn't fit already.
The last smaller room will be Essa's Art Studio. Her easel will go in front of the window, the canvas rack in the nook area and all her other career rewards scattered around along with paintings and photographs, etc.
Finally, (for now) gave them a pool/BBQ patio area in the backyard. Also used a little terrain paint on top of the pebbles lilsimsie had there. I decided to put a copy of their current basement with the garden and the art gallery rooms in my library and place them here instead of making a Greenhouse. I decided they'd like a pool much more out back since it's so hot in Strangerville.
Put a steam/bubbler ornate grate and some fun turtles in the pool.
Love those turtles, they're so cute!
Closer look at the BBQ/Lounge area. Lilsimsie had a trash can where the BBQ is now located. I moved it out front and kind of hid it behind a large potted plant.
Overhead Backyard view. That's all for now! I'll finish the second floor area and make all the final decoration touches tonight when they move in after midnight. Not sure if I'll add anything else for landscaping except maybe some lighting here and there. I don't like a lot of landscaping unlike most Simmers creations I see on the Gallery. I might put a tree or perhaps a hot tub/bar in the grassy area behind the diving platform though.
I'll work on comments in a bit. Need to make dinner first and a few other things. Exciting that we're now starting the fifth month of this challenge! I'm so happy to have all of you joining in with me on the fun!

Very shortly after graduation Roxanne was contacted for an interview with Military Intelligence. She was told it very important that she come. The choice was hers... but that it was a to serve the Simworld in the face looming disaster. Roxanne of course was very interested and intrigued. What could be happening in the world that she could help with? Why in the world would they be contacting a new graduate for something that sounded that important?
When she arrived at the Sim Intelligence building she was escorted in to see someone that identified himself as Special Agent Crawford. (Lol I totally ripped him out of my Hannibal save).
He got to the point quick. There was terrible happenings in the desert. People were getting sick... including military personnel, scientists and civilians. They wanted her because of her magical background, in addition to her intelligence and fitness. They had in fact been watching her for sometime. Agent Crawford did indicate there were many new agents also, they were recruiting fast. They were working on replacing those lost to the unknown scourge as quickly as possible. It was felt her magical abilities especially would come in handy in certain situations she.. or other agents she worked with might face.
If she accepted the postion she would be given housing and would be briefed further when she arrived at ground zero. Strangerville.

Roxanne's closest friends include Archibald.. an adult undertaker that lived with her for sometime in a haunted house and in Glimmerbrook and Clement who is Father Winter.. who may or may not be imaginary also. It's still my plan for Roxanne to have Father Winter's baby but things change so it's not set in stone.
She's killed and brought back Wolfgang who was being a peeping Tom and had bad plans for her and an older lady that crossed her in a bar. If she does that though she'll keep the tombstones because she can always bring them back.
She's a spellcaster, a paranormal investigator and now a covert agent.
I am also excited to start tomorrow. I am so used to playing challenges to finish as quickly as possible, so I have to keep reminding myself that there is no rush. To enjoy the journey for a change.

Malcolm (the blonde dude) , met her parents at the gym, when poor Paolo Rocca died (I needed to summon Grimm, Paolo, sorry) , he was not pleased to hear his girlfriend had a vampire parents plus also her dad was a Grimm

I saw the screenshots of your build in that thread. It looks really good! I tried the Country Kitchen kit stuff in Essa's kitchen, but the colors just weren't right for what I had in mind. However, I did use a canister...in the bathroom!
Thanks, I'm loving it so far! Can't wait to move them in after midnight and put all the final touches on the build. Glad so many don't mind I've taken the time to renovate this house and show screenshots of the progress. I love building, and decorating in particular so it's just as much fun as live gameplay for me.
Very cool that Mario and Becca will be taking care of Ruby while Jules is in Strangerville. So Hugo will be living with her while she's there? Guessing they'll just have a rental at first is why she'll be moving later on. Great idea having Jules get a Freelance job, will make things easier for her. Also good idea having the Nanny take care of Ruby while she's living with her Dad. It will give her a bit of continuity as you said.

Story
This is a story of the life of Jackson Rider. Jackson is an orphaned teenager. He has no parents. Not wanting to live in foster care, Jackson keeps it a secret that he is an orphan. But he still attends high school. What the school doesn’t know won’t hurt them, right? The school doesn’t know he’s an orphan.
Jackson makes his way to Sulani. A place where there’s tons of beaches and the weather is always nice no matter the season. This is something Jackson admires. Wanting to fit in, he gets a beachy style haircut and packs a wardrobe of nothing but summer clothes. He also has a cooler to store food and a tent to sleep in and keep him in some shade. After that, he is left with no simoleons.
Jackson found a secluded area where he thought he might be able to set up his tent. He is homeless, after all. He called this spot Key Point. It was his key point of living. To him it was an oceanic paradise and off-the-grid.
Jackson wanted to take it slow and enjoy the beach life. Yes, he would be going to high school. But when school was over, he didn’t have to worry about chores around the house. There was no one to nag him about doing this or that. He missed his parents, but he was going to live the good life.
