Library

Yesterday after I updated my game with the last patch I started up my game. I decided to start a fresh game went into my library to get one of my houses. All of my houses and sims are gone. Thankfully I shared a few houses but the ones in my library have disappeared. What happened? Any help would be appreciated.

Your Library is saved in the Tray folder inside of The Sims 4 folder. Check that folder to see if everything is there. Did you by any chance uninstall/reinstall or create a new game folder without backing up your Tray folder first?

I checked the tray they aren't there :( . I had some computer problems recently so yes I had uninstall/reinstall and I did forget to back up the tray *Ugh*. Good thing I shared some of them. I can at least get those back. Thank you for your help @SimplyJen .

I had a similar thing happen around the change of year. No uninstall/reinstall, either. Just updated to latest patch at the time and not only was the tray wiped out but most of my screenshots and all but one gamesave. Fortunately, I have an installation on a separate computer, so was able to transfer files. Let's just say I distrust EA's patches, and that my rescuing game hasn't seen the internet in a very long time and never will.
