For some reason, this is the very first time I noticed that you can hear the clicking sounds of knuckles being cracked when a Sim gets a foot massage. I've had Sims get foot massages before, but Erik is particularly tense. Not sure if that's the difference or if I just didn't notice before. At any rate, I really love little details like this that is truly a Hallmark of the Sims' Franchise. Way to go, EA and thank you so very much!
Please share the little details you've noticed in your game.

It's not just the tension; I hear it with all of mine. Speaking of massages, but this time the table kind, my inner 12-year-old comes rushing back to replace my current self every time a sim accidentally farts while getting a massage. Every. Single. Time.
Because I can't; I keep all sigs turned off.
And my little sim girl sitting watching TV with her dad, she suddenly randomly blew a raspberry at him. Totally cracked me up.
The Teen getting the massage is my newly crowned Global Superstar. Paparazzi were everywhere inside the spa, some even taking the yoga class as if to disguise themselves. LOL Can you imagine what they would do had Erik broke wind? Oi! Poor guy was already tense enough. You make a very amusing point.

Most earbuds are much too large for my ears! They keep popping out. LOL Plus, I don't like the sense of feeling cutoff from what's going on around me, when I wear headphones. I turn up the volume on my stereo external speakers, instead.

Oh, that causes me to recall how our new ten-week old Beagle who was all of five pounds managed to run underneath my husband's chest of drawers! She couldn't get back out again, and I was nearly in a panic. Hubby wasn't due home from work for hours. I said a quick prayer, and managed to tilt it back so she could get out. Not only that but the flat panel TV atop this piece of furniture didn't move at all! It's like an Angel was holding it in place. Belle was okay, and that's what mattered. Now, she just a brat. LOL

Yes, I know. I started my Sims Odyssey with Sims2. I totally miss the footprints on the concrete floor when building a new lot. For the longest time that game was my favorite. But Sims4 brings some important things back to the game egregiously left out of Sims3. So, I rejoice in the little details I keep discovering in this iteration, too.

My Plumbob is GREEN today
So were you going to share a detail as the post suggested or....? I'm sure if its a Sims 2 detail no one will care.
My Plumbob is GREEN today
Didn't you get the memo?
Nobody is allowed to get any enjoyment out of the Sims 4, we're only allowed to enjoy the Sims 1/2/3.... and anyone who is enjoying things about the Sims 4 is obviously not knowledgeable or experienced enough about video games to understand the difference. We have no idea what we should be enjoying, only they can tell us what games we should be enjoying and how we should be spending our money.... Because they're smart and we're dumb.
And if anybody dare to mention something that they might be enjoying about the Sims 4, there will be someone coming along shortly to inform you/remind you that the Sims 1/2/3 is far far better, in every way. You know, in case you forgot about that important piece of information from the last thread you posted in 5 minutes ago where you were also kindly reminded.
Oh, and speaking of reminders (in case you missed the memo on this too): You're also not allowed to get annoyed with these off topic thread intrusions because it's just people generously injecting their knowledgeable opinions throughout the Sims 4 section of the forum about the greatness of the Sims 1/2/3... for our own benefit, of course. They're opinions are superior, ours are inferior. And really when you think about it, it is quite kind and generous of them to be reminding us of our inferior personal gaming experiences so that they (the superior smart ones) can help to guide us on how we should be spending our money.... Because once again, they're smart and we're dumb.
And who cares if their posts are off topic and/or completely derailing the thread into a different direction unintended by the originator of said thread topic? Pfft. These people are, after all, just kindly sharing their opinion.... repeating themselves every day.... in almost every thread.... for our benefit.... because they care.
In summary:
Sims 4: Boooo hisssss! You're dumb and don't know anything about games if you're enjoying it.
Sims 1/2/3: Awesome and perfect in every way and should be talked about in the Sims 4 section of the forum at every opportunity, on every day, in every thread, all the time, in any way they see fit.

Let's have a nice discussion here, shall we?
So then. A detail in The Sims 4...
When elders slip and fall, they take longer to get up due to back pain.
You assume a lot and come off rather rude with your reply.
Just cause you personally don't care it doesn't mean that everybody doesn't. I love the Sims 4 and yes it has many lovely details but I also have very fond memories from the Sims 2 and I do actually care about all the wonderful little details that it had.
While this is totally true, it doesn't add to the topic and it also doesn't keep me from enjoying the Sims 4 more than the Sims 2 by now.
I've got two details to share that I like:
When my married couple is kissing beneath their children, they often react with disgust, while during a wedding party the guests will usually cheer when they notice the betrothed couple kissing.
When Sims go hiking together Sims will sometimes autonomously eat an apple during a short break.
Why wouldn't anyone care if it's a Sims 2 detail?
