Reshade Presets.

I’ve just installed reshade in my Sims 3 game and I was wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of some nice presets that are designed for use with the Sims 3. I don’t know if it matters but I will be playing in Sunset Valley.

Thank you so much for any help.

Well, I like using the reshade cause it's a very easy download that goes straight to your game with just a few clicks that's tell what going to be shade and that's it. once you load up your game just press the home button if want to see what been installed. just skip the tutorial with then press the home button that's it.

I love reshade. I use it in my Sims 4 game which all my presets are for. They don't look good in the Sims 3 though which is why I was wondering if anybody knew of presets that are specific for the Sims 3 or at least match with the graphic style.

You may be better off trying to Google search for Sims 3 ReShade presets (Images tab) or take the plunge and play around with the settings yourself to create your own profile. I've seen a few here and there but not many.

    Preset I know of:

A while back I ended up making my own since every preset I came across was hyper-realistic or super bright and blown out. Also, some ReShade settings can really tank game performance.

Thank you so much for replying. I couldn’t really find much when I googled so I just uninstalled reshade and went with one of the lighting mods that @Emo-usagi2187 suggested.

There is a difference between the two. A lighting mod will simply change how the sky and in-game lighting appears while ReShade is an overlay... Kind of like photoshopping or applying a filter to a photo. But the lighting mod is much easier on the game and personally, I prefer it too. :smirk: There are so many great lighting mods out there.
