Outdoor Retreat tents in snow?

I see that Snowy Escape has their own tents but I was wondering if my Sims can use their tents they bought in Granite Falls without freezing to death in the new vacation world?

Yes, tents do protect you from freezing to death, as does dressing your sim in any outfit in the cold weather category.

We've had freezing weather since Seasons and none of my Sims have frozen while camping. All the tents and portable beds protect against cold, so use whichever ones you prefer.

that means my Sim doesn't have to buy the new tent and just use her old one she got before Snowy Escape
