@luckyheather Thanx hehe, i finished it, turned it into an office building (game studio office as per lostatcore ^_^
As for how I did it, nothing too convoluted, it's a couple of roofs with 2 flex points (shift +C on the roof) If chips hadn't told me about the shift C thing, I might have never found that bit out though
Your Dive Bar WIP is looking great! @luckyheather You are reflecting your inspiration picture very well! The arches and the bridge linking the two areas of the build together looks great!
Your new WIP looks great! @luckyheather It is great that you doing a bike shop! The combination of having a bike shop on the lower level, and accompanying other stores will make it a great place for sims to visit
Thank you @rosemow for saying the shops look great so far I think toys will be in one shop upstairs and I have to decide on the rest. Thanks for looking it over for me
Hi this is the Sulani Beach Shop that is taking a few days to do, the clothing on all the mannequins take more time than the build itself!
Front in afternoon shadow
The Rear in bright sun
Your Sulani beach shop WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather The exterior design and roofing are very nice! The pretty blue and white colours are lovely and suit the location well! Very nice deck areas.
I have to many WIP projects at the moment but right now I'm working on an old renovated barn as a family home. Because the country kitchen kit makes me want to build something farm-ish
Your renovate barn as a family home WIP is looking great! @Starrats The barn shape exterior design, red colour and the balconies are very nice! It looks lovely the way you have used the items from the new kit to make a very nice homely country kitchen
I'm currently also building a place in order to play around some more with the new kitchen kit. I won't be uploading this one to the gallery because it's so full of CC. I'm also not too sure about the outside - at the very least I might change the upstairs windows. Something about the facade doesn't look quite right.
However the kitchen ended up not even being my focus. Instead I got carried away once again doing a luxury bathroom (I'm keen on those, lol) in a combination of art deco and art nouveau, I suppose you'd say. Much of the deco CC is by an artist called Severinka (you will find her on TSR), but I can't recall the other artist names whose CC I have used throughout the build. I use a lot of different artists for wallpapers, including Lavilikesims (LLS) and others.
The loungeroom is being done in boho style (again using some of Severinka's creations), but is completely unfinished. I enlarged the size of the couch so that it's a big, fat cushy looking one.
P.S. that little "slit" I have in the centre of my rounded counter-top..... is that normal? Or have I done something wrong?
Your WIP family home looks lovely! @PennyDreadPriestess The exterior design, arch windows and wall texture are very nice! The interior furnishings are lovely! The floor tiling and the raised bath tub platform in the bathroom looks very elegant! It looks very nice and homely the way you have used the items from the new kit in the kitchen
I've made changes to the facade (mainly upstairs windows) and have made some progress indoors. I'm enjoying going all colour and somewhat bohemian in this one. The facade looks tame, the inside smacks you upside the head.
Some lovely toucan artwork by @rosemow has been added into the loungeroom - my husband (who doesn't play Sims) spotted the artworks over my shoulder whilst I sat at the computer, and he cracked a terribly lame but funny joke about "toucan play this game"..... so that is what I have named the house now.
The updated version looks great! @PennyDreadPriestess The windows change is great , and very lovely colours you are using for the interior! The coloured patterned furniture in the living room are very nice! Thankyou very much for using my toucan art! Very lovely bedroom! The blue curtained bed, pretty pink curtains and the lovely ceiling lights all are very nice!
I am currently working on a new build with a 'lowered floor height' (visually) on the garage. I wanted a nice finishing on the house and the garage, so I needed medium floor height, but I didn't want the garage to look all tall and narrow, so I had to 'fix' it lol. Almost headdesked when I fixed the issue, since I had some previous builds I could have used this thing on xD
Thank you so much guys ^_^ @eufl once I am done with this build, I will post it in my thread with detailed instructions as to how it's done, in case you were wondering However, it is nothing really new from what I have previously done, just a slightly different use of it, hence the almost headdesk
Your WIP for the blueprint challenge is looking very nice! @luckyheather Very nice exterior design of the home! The wood and white walls are lovely! The solar panels look great on the roofing! Very nice windows used.
Back again with the Blueprint challenge house, I think I have just about finished the interior so I built an outdoor Clubhouse for the child that will live there, its all sand under to play in and the swings will be tucked in at the front. I have the rest of the garden to work out next!
