How did I miss this thread??
The builds on here are wonderful! 😍
Between work and sleepwalking I’ve been building a gigantic historical country house which is based on a true haunted house not too far from where I live. (Everything around here is haunted. Or perhaps it’s just me).
I will share it on this thread and on the gallery once it’s finished.
This manor is definitely one of my favorite builds! So much so that I might make this the ancestral home for my medium and her generations! If anyone's interested, its in the gallery. ID: InuMiroLover
Was inspired by all the references to Lady Ravendancer in the new Paranormal pack to come up with my own headcanon of why the Goths’ house, Ophelia Villa, is the only Goth house in The Sims franchise to not have its own cemetery.
Also, this build was inspired by Inveraray Castle.
Using mainly the Paranormal, Realm of Magic, Vampires and Spooky stuff packs I created a haunted gothic victorian manor. Has coffin in the basement, spellcaster cauldron and potions/items, seance table and more! Made for a couple with a child/toddler and pet. I hope you enjoy!

A Work in Progress of The Hall of Dreams. Inspired by the most famous haunted house in Ireland, Loftus Hall. I will share its backstory in another post, when it's finished somewhere next year or so. It's quite disturbing, both the story and the fact that this will take me a long time to complete. Apparently I have a life outside of Build Mode.
In truth the mansion sits atop a cliff on a peninsula so I may move it to The Crumbling Isle in Windenburg. This build has 26 fireplaces in total and that's not even in every room...
I'm toying with the idea of creating the House that it should have been and the House it has become...
So two versions. I'm an utter nutter.
Some interior shots. Including many corridors...
The grand stair case:
The Long Walk ( a servants corridor which runs through the entire house).
Another corridor:

That's right. Another corridor:
The Chapel, previously known as The Ballroom, until the house changed into a Convent for young girls.

Love the corridor shots, very spooky, remind me of The Shining when the twins ghost showed up. Please post pictures of the garden too. There's also a nice big 64x64 lot in Brindleton Bay atop a hill overlooking the ocean.
Well, I tried to build a little starter Victorian that I was going to shabby up and make haunted, but it's already 23K and it only has the kitchen and bathroom in it so far.
Plus, it's really difficult to make the outside look old and run down. I wish we had some shabby siding similar to the above but cracked and dirty etc, and dirty windows, rotted window frames, boarded up windows etc. This house just looks shiny and new. And even if I add cracks and cobwebs it will still look almost shiny and new lol.
How about using brick or cobblestone and putting vines on it? I too would like some shabby outsides too. Sometimes when I make a shabby shed, I use those iron roofs and plaster on the outside with the cracks that came with jungle adventure. But, that would not work so well with a home.
