I'm sorry to hear this will be your last monthly challenge I wish I found this thread sooner I'm looking forward to when I can do this though it looks really fun one question does it have to have a laundry room I don't have that pack but I could use some debug stuff to make it lookvlike a laundry room if its a requirement
@seaben I will more than likely make more challenges, maybe just not monthly since there hasn't been a whole lot of interest so far. This challenge does not have to have a laundry room if you don't have the pack, you can either leave an empty room where it would be or just skip over that little bit completely, its up to you
@seaben You can basically change whatever you would like, I just made the shape from scratch as I was thinking of a layout in a style that I usually like, but if you have an idea then go for it! I'm excited to see it
@Clousinators I'm sorry you're stopping this thread, I actually was inspired by some of your challenges and I was planning on doing the Secret space challenge and the Lounge/Club Challenge but life got in the way . I am going to attempt the Dream Home Challenge at some point to and I may end up doing the other two as well since there are no deadlines... I wanted to do the modern shell but it intimidated me lol
@Clousinators Oh no, I was enjoying this challenge. I was going to try the secret space but the job got in the way...lol. I will attempt this next one and I will keep your page starred so I will get the updates when the moment hits you.

@QueenV815 and @nali272 I won't stop doing the challenges completely, Maybe I'll just space them out a little more, I know builds can take a while and everyone has a real life (at least sometimes lol)
Also, That cube shell was intense lol, even I had to give up on the shell I posted and changed the layout somewhat for my version of it

Views to lighthouse can be seen from the primary bedroom and library. The 2nd floor has a catwalk design, this allows us to keep the primary seperate from the other rooms and gives you a view of the living room. This large home has 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The section above the garage has been converted into a man cave. A stand alone guest house was built on the back left corner with a kitchenette and hide-a-way bed. There was double pond on the property that a bridge was built over to get to a nice camping area. Pictures:

What a beautiful home @nali272 and so different than what I'm doing mine will not be ready for awhile still it's taking me like a day or more to furnish each room and I still have 3 or more rooms plus landscaping 😓
I cannot wait to see your interpretation @seaben & @Lilweenj I don't think there is a due date, so take your time as long as you are happy with the end results.

@nali272 Yay! This looks great. I like the green exterior with grey stone. and I always love some nice fall foliage! Nice layout in the guest house, I like how its small but still designated spaces within. I like the corner couches turned into a sectional and using a platform as an entertainment center and fireplace was a good idea. I like that kitchen with the big middle island and coffee station! The library looks super cozy, totally going to curl up there and nap I mean read a book. I need a gym to get motivated otherwise I would never work out, nice addition. The cat walk looks great. I like all the neutral colors throughout the house, specially in the bedroom with the big curtains. The bathroom layout for the main bedroom is nice, creative shower. Toddler's bedroom is cute with all the décor and matching furniture. Nice man cave, gonna have to watch all the football and hockey games in there. A secret camping spot! Thats cute! Love the whole build, thanks for participating!
Thank you @Clousinators I really enjoyed this one... that walk over to the space above the garage is something I have been wanting to do, this gives me inspiration.

Yes, I don't know why I was convinced I had until the 20th... Anyway, I'm done, so I'm very excited to share it.

Description: I created this family home, with the master bedroom downstairs with a view of the lighthouse, 1 kid bedroom upstairs, and the teenager's bedroom above the garage. A garage that has been transformed into a mancave with home cinema and ping pong table. Outside, you'll find a small pond in the front right corner, a pool and a treehouse. And of course a small gesthouse.

I hope you'll all enjoy it, but in any case I add a lot of fun
@Lilweenj I'm glad you got it finished! The landscaping in the front yard looks nice, good use of space with the fence/driveway/and little pond. Good idea putting a basketball hoop there. The entry room is cute and its nice that theres a bathroom right there by the laundry room. I'm going to skip ahead and talk about all the bedrooms because they look great! The different themes for each match so well and I like that each one is different to match how different personalities can be in one family. I think the yellow kids bedroom might be my favorite. All the windows along the back of the living room really open the space up and brings in lots of light. The little loft area at the top of the stairs looks so nice and cozy, I might spend most of my time there if not in the backyard. So many creative ideas in the back yard, I like the tree in the middle of the pool. And that little kid play area with club house is such a great idea! the covered areas in the back would be perfect for overcast or rainy days. even the guest house has a little porch! Great build, thanks so much for joining! I look forward to seeing more from you in the future
Nice rendition @Lilweenj , a little confused about the naming... shell credit belongs to Clousinators. I am sure it is oversite...but I wanted to make sure I was not getting the credit.

Alright so there hasn't been a whole lot of interest in the challenges so far unfortunately. So I will leave this thread up and add some periodically in the future (and you can still complete any challenge whenever) but for the time being this will be my last monthly challenge.
I have been trying to make the ultimate dream house and add in all the cool ideas I like as I go. My own version will probably take me another week or two at least just because I am always thinking of cool new things I want to add. I am going to upload a shell that I have made and I want to see how you can add to it!
I have only added the exterior walls so the inside is completely up to you!
Must be located on Oakenstead
I would like the living room to be open to the second floor in some way.
Build a small guest house in the back
Add a "lake" or "pond" to the backyard as well
and the back yard also needs a deck/patio area (does not have to be where it is in the shell, you can move it if you want)
I would like a laundry room if you can fit it
My boyfriend is requesting a man cave somewhere in the house
Extra points if you can make the main bedroom have a hidden bookcase door, and be located in the front of the house so we can have views of the lighthouse and waterfront in the distance
No budget, NoCC art is allowed, just give credit to the artist, and make sure to tag me so I can find it easily in the gallery!
Just started working on this... I know you left most up to our imaginations, but do you have a family you plan to move in? Kids? Ages and Genders? Need a specific amount of beds and baths? I was planning at least a Master suite and 2 more bedrooms (not including guest house) and 2 more full baths, and maybe a half bath..
@seaben thank you for mentioning me in the Building Challenges thread! @QueenV815 I plan on moving in my sim replica to see how many generations I can play through. As of right now there are two married adult sims, one boy toddler, one girl baby, and I plan on having them adopt one more child. So 3-4 bedrooms, I've got no problem with 2 kids sharing a room, and at least two full bathrooms but more is absolutely fine

@seaben I look forward to your build, that's what's so great about ShellChallenges, the different interpretations.
