Cup of water with a star on it in the fridge, how to remove?

So there's this cup of water in the fridge and it has a star on it which I think that means favorite? How do we remove this? I believe this is causing one of my sims to constantly get and drink water all the time! Which in turn is also causing that puddle bug to appear whenever your sim drinks water! I've tried shift, alt, ctrl clicking but nothing is working!

The puddle might be a current bug because I'm getting them randomly too and none of my sims are drinking more than normal? The puddles will just appear behind tables, in the kitchen floor, in the living room with no sims present...its...Odd.

Water with star. Try putting it in your sims inventory and then select it and choose the favorites option to turn off favorite.

The puddles are indeed a new bug. I've had them in my restaurants.

I had a very interesting situation occur in my game just the other day. I had no idea one of the families I created had lost their Dad. My family didn't know these Sims, either. Yet, after the birthday bash for the triplets thirtieth birthday, Kayleigh went to bath her youngest, Cadence. There was a puddle in the bathroom, and a ghost of their neighbor was busy cleaning it up. I'm thinking what the hey? Like I said, they didn't know him, nor was he ever at their house, so he most certainly didn't pass away on their lot. :open_mouth:

For the water, OP, don’t forget Sims have a hidden thirst need. The best way to stop a Sim going for water constantly can be to just allow them to drink. Either water or a orange juice or something. I recommend letting them finish it.

I haven’t really used the favourites feature in the inventory, but I believe left clicking on an item (when in personal inventory at least) allows “add to favourites” or conversely “remove from favourites”. Hope that helps.

I, too, have been noticing puddles. I thought it may have been related to the roof on my lot, since it is a gallery build. I didn’t even think bug. Now I’m off to check Answers HQ for a report to click “MeToo”

I've noticed some unexplained puddles, too. Ectoplasm, obviously.

A lot of the unexplained puddles are caused by the Bonehilda trait glitching and applying to everyone else, causing a puddle to appear when they drink

There is a mod to stop the puddles if anyone is interested, I have it in my game and it works great.
No puddles from drinking by Scarlet:
