I also put on extra weight since last March. In 2019, I had lost 20 lbs. Thankfully, I have not gained it all back. I have to admit the virtual cookies and treats often served here are not my problem; it's the RL, or OE, treats.

My motivation to move around has decreased with each month of this pandemic. I've never been a gym person, but something about everything being off limits just does something to my brain. For me, it's not so much weight as physical health. I feel like I shouldn't be out of breath from one or two flights of stairs. I eventually had to start with those "3-6 minute workout" apps. Even those fail sometimes.
The seemingly (to me) more rapid passage of time isn't helping. Seriously, it's already February? I feel like it was just March.
I just typed out a novel of a post and decided to spare everyone I think my mind just wandered as I was typing. Seriously, you all are lucky to avoid that.

When I wrote that post the other day, my day had started off normally but all of a sudden it was one thing after another after another. So, I was exhausted and didn't mean to sound so...depressing and dour. Oops. Now I can laugh about some of the things that happened (at one point it was like a "bad day in a sitcom" or in the Sims game. Simcom?), and have a better outlook on others.

I have been a bit more active the last couple of weeks because I am now allowed to visit my grandchildren. (A household is allowed 2 designated visitors. My husband and I are my daughter's 2 visitors.) I don't belong to a gym but active play with my grandsons definitely helped. However, with no where to go, I sit at my computer or on the sofa more. I did give an amazing workout to Michael Bachelor yesterday. He needed to finish exploring the tomb in Al Simhara. Poor Sim was so exhausted. When he returned to Sunset Valley, he crawled into bed and slept for many hours.

I did a quick Google search. I am finding posts that do advise placing too many items on a lot can crash the game. For example from Carl's Guide to Sims 3 "Game lag after playing a file a long time is not unusual. It's typical and expected. You're saving more and more stuff on top of each other. There's more info for the game to remember. More objects on the lot, more data to process, etc."

When I wrote that post the other day, my day had started off normally but all of a sudden it was one thing after another after another. So, I was exhausted and didn't mean to sound so...depressing and dour. Oops. Now I can laugh about some of the things that happened (at one point it was like a "bad day in a sitcom" or in the Sims game. Simcom?), and have a better outlook on others.

I did a quick Google search. I am finding posts that do advise placing too many items on a lot can crash the game. For example from Carl's Guide to Sims 3 "Game lag after playing a file a long time is not unusual. It's typical and expected. You're saving more and more stuff on top of each other. There's more info for the game to remember. More objects on the lot, more data to process, etc."
