It may not seem fair, but it could have been anyone, it was just chance that it was you this time. This was Role Madness and so we had interesting and unusual roles. But the roles weren't made up on the spot by the moderator: they exist as part of the mafia universe. So it was disappointing to you personally, and that's understandable. Anyone else would have been disappointed also. But there was nothing unfair about it, just so you know.

It was disappointing and you didn't like it, but it wasn't unfair. Saying it is, is like saying it's unfair because you lost a coin flip. Obviously you weren't happy about it, but it wasn't a system rigged unfairly against you. It was just what happened that you didn't like, that could have happened to anyone. There's a large, fundamental difference between not liking an outcome, and an outcome being due to unfairness.
