    Should the schools offer driving classes in the Sims?

    This way, instead of having to drive around all of those hours with an adult sim in the household, teen sims could take a few quick courses at the school, and earn their license.

      I would like that. A teen sim could take after-school courses for driving and then they could have a final test where they would actually have to drive with a NPC. Of course, the option to teach your kids would still be an option but taking the courses would go by faster.

      Provided there are drivable cars. Nice idea, but pointless unless there is that need for it. Take it a step further, adults need to renew periodically. If you really want to annoy your sims, require vehicle inspections.

      If we ever get cars then that would be cool. But there really isn't any reason for them right now.

      They stopped giving driver's education in schools decades ago. I guess the liability insurance was too great. And even then it was just a stepping stone. A kid still had to drive for about six months before they went down to the DMV take a written test and then the actual driver's test. Six of one, half a dozen of another. But, were they to reinstitute cars in the game, this would make for a fun pack.

      For TS4, at this point in time, I don't really see a point in it since we have no cars and our sims just walk or ride a bikes, if there were cars it would be different.

      We don't even have functioning cars in the game.... if we did then yeah I could see driving being like a skill you have to get to 3 before driving or something but ... we don't have functioning cars and we can't accompany our sim kids to school so its all kind of pointless right now
