I was wondering. If I download a house from the galley, like a huge one, and I modify the inside and stuff. If I uploaded it again to my own gallery, how do I get that tag to link to the original creator? I never refurbished someone else's house, only those from the base game.
@Finnley , when you down load another creators build from the gallery, and renovate , when you resubmit it to the gallery it will have the "Original" Creators Id on it also...
RENOVATE MY HOUSE...

Construction Notes: Our little Family upon unpacking were Lucky to win the Lottery, So Our Budget went out the window. This home has gone under some major construction. We have changed the windows, Changed the texture & color of the outside siding. Changed the texture of the roof. I Changed the layout of the main floor & the second floor. A small chefs kitchen was made for Anita. Beside the house in the back yard Landyn has his own Plot of land for his hydroponic garden. Desiree was made a comfy book nook in the corner of her bedroom suite.. Avery got his study area upstairs right beside his beloved books.. Austin got his own play area in the back yard, with a Kiddy pool , slide & ball pit. The Master suite was reconfigured so that Landyn & Desiree have their own individual closets , a small baby nursery was made in a space in the master suite- which later can be made into a sitting , or TV area.. Upstairs 2 separate Boy bedrooms were made. A Neutral Toddlers bedroom was also constructed. The children have their own area on the 2 nd floor for Play, study and for watching TV.. We added extensive landscaping outside in both the front and back of the house , there was made a BBQ area with an out side eating area as well as a play area for the children .Lyndon got his grill. Now this little Family can live comfortably with room to grow..
Do you want feedback from anyone? of course..

Thanks @nali272! for a great shell and family to work with.
@JojoMOMSTER - no worries, I've never thought of the pool as plumbing, I looked at it as entertainment...hmm...I will have to think about that. @Pinkusfamily - $1 million dollars...wow...Good for the Hu family. @AquaGamer1212 - I have no rules for the families. In the beginning, I was not including the family, I was asked to upload them. So what happens in their daily lives as you are renovating is up to you. If they work and make extra money that could go towards the budget. What do you all think... and I will update the rules.
Try my challenge - make these builds better. (star the page for notifications)
@nali272 If you include daily live income in the funding, it's going to be more distorted concerning budget I think. For me, I only have basegame, so I am quite limited with respect to income (regular jobs only, no lottery, more limited in options to accomodate the sims' mood enhancement etc.) compared to people who have access to all of the packs. I would prefer the budget to remain the budget, no adding to it in any way. It also favors people who are home all day, playing the game, since they get to play a lot more sim-days and thus have way more income.
Not that I mind this out-of-nowhere-I won-the-lottery-build lol, thought it was quite funny xD (I do foresee a lot more people winning lotteries and doubling budgets if it's allowed though!)
I like a good challenge, so a tight budget is good for me sometimes I personally wouldn't change the rules to accommodate play. The more simple you make it, the less you will confuse or lose people. I find most people will just do what they want anyway, lol!
WEll all in all, I ALWAYS Sim test my builds.. To make sure everything works..
To be honest Winning the Lottery just made it more convenient for me to go over budget.. I did not mean to , it just happened.. I down loaded the family, bought the lot , Placed the Build- played and worked on it as I went. Usually - When NO family is presented with the Challenge. I go right to build mode...
@Pinkusfamily - no harm, no foul. I think of this challenge as being agile and you all are helping me make it better. If I offended you, I did not mean to.

@Pinkusfamily I loved your entry! Everyone has had such great renovations! @nali272 this is honestly one of my favorite threads! I love taking the home that you build with so much care and turning it into something completely different and unique. If my day goes as planned tomorrow I will post mine 🙂 (still with brackish water in the pool though, lol)

First bills are 3700 so they will need to be creative to earn money. Serendipity would have it they moved in on a Tuesday (with 0$)

I thoroughly Enjoy this challenge..
In the future, I will keep to the budget, then use the presented Sim family to just test the build..
