It's 2021, so anything with new Occults will be very much welcomed.

1, an amusement park game pack would be a great addition to the Sims 4 for 2021! I have seen Simmers create carousels and even though they are beautiful, they are not functional like the carousel in the World of Wonder Carousel Collection it would also be wonderful if this amusement park game pack included:
    <3 a carousel
    <3 a rollercoaster
    <3 a gondola
<3 a fun house filled with mirrors
<3 lots of stands for food, popcorn and cotton candy
It would make for a wonderful game pack! :) With an amusement park game pack I could also find more uses for my Journey to Batuu build/buy items.. ;)

2, travel expansion pack, a way for my sims to go to places around the world, like Italy, India, and Australia.. This expansion pack could have actual hotels or motels and activities that are related to the culture of that country, like we have in Snowy Escapes..

1000% yes. I wish we'd gotten a Disneyland or Disney World Theme Park game pack or expansion instead of Star Wars. It would be even better if we could go on the rides with them. Could you imagine if they had given us a Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean ride simulation? I would die from happiness if we ever got something like this. I lived in Florida for awhile and used to go to Universal Studios every single week with my season pass. I miss going to theme parks so much.

I will divide my ideas up by "packs"

    Expansion packs:

    1) A "Hotel and Casino" pack containing a destination world with a couple of themed hotels and casinos as well as the option (via base game patch) to build hotels (or even motels) on the residential worlds. Would also potentially offer multiple different career options, traits and aspirations. (Professional poker player as a freelance career anyone?)

    2) An Amusement Park pack with a vacation destination world that would have rides and "attractions" like "boardwalk games", possibly a fortune teller (see below), and more.

    Game Packs
    1) Carnival (might be spelled Carnivale) would include elements of what gets called a "carnival" here in the US, the State Fair / World Fair in the US, and Carnivale in Brazil. If the "fortune teller" is not included in an Amusement Park pack or the upcoming "Haunts" pack then it could go here. (again... kinda thinking of it as a freelance career).

    2) So I was thinking a pack that added a "Private Investigator" career that functions basically like a "freelance detective" career. With as much film noir related stuff as you get to go with it. Granted, I'm an old film noir fan and detective movie fan, which I doubt many here are, but it would be nice to have something along that line. (And some architecture and build items from the 40s perhaps? Some fashion from the jazzy 20s? Think about it a bit before ya dismiss it.) Plus a side note: I loved the Strangerville game pack. I felt that it was some unexpected fun game play and more of that would be welcomed. (Bonus points, so to speak, if there are Easter eggs related to any films made by Humphrey Bogart or books by Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett.) I am certain a few other potential careers, traits, aspirations, etc could be added as well.

    Stuff Pack
    1) "Museum Stuff" - eh, with a different title. But the idea would be to expand the "museum" set up and also provide more art, decoration, and plant items for both museums and homes that represent both "history of the Sims Universe" and real world historical era. (Medieval Europe, Vikings, Feudal Japan and China, Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece come to mind. Okay, I might have been playing a lot of another game franchise lately.) Could also include more carpet options and throw rugs as well (hint, hint).

Not sure where to put these:
    1) Something based on the "Science and Tech stuff from the survey last year that would also incorporate Cyberpunk and Steampunk. Could be either Game pack or Stuff Pack.

    2) More blank worlds. At least 3 or 4 including one "Sulani-like" world, one that would mesh would Get Famous, another "commercial lot area" since the one in the game only has one blank space to build and one that has a few "blank by default" larger and smaller lots in it. (I would love a few blank 64x64 lots, 50x50 lots, 20x20 lots (can only use middle of nowhere so much), etc.

    3) Destination worlds / Vacation worlds to explore and visit. I could make another reference to a different game franchise here but I don't know how well I would "hit" my target, "man". It would be great though to be able to have a few other destination worlds that we could take our sims, "kill some time" or maybe even have some sort various game play objectives to complete. Hey, it's an idea.

(I'm been redoing my gallery stuff so bear with me. FYI: I never use CC on my gallery builds. I rarely use MOO.) I am usually more pleased with my room builds than my lot builds.

Thank you! I appreciate your support of the amusement park idea!! I like your ideas!! It would be great if we could get some themed rides like in Disney World or Universal Studios! :) I hope EA considers it! <3

Just going to keep the ideas somewhat brief per pack, because I want to create separate posts on my full, detailed, and expanded ideas whenever I manage to obtain the "Member" status lol. I have a lot of them I'd like to share in their own posts. ;)

    For Expansion Packs:

    Into the Past
(Doesn't precisely have to be named that, just a kind of opposite to Sims 3's "Into the Future"). Like being able to visit either the medieval or Victorian era and being able to interact as such with the denizens of said past. (Please, please nothing like Journey to Batuu. I'd like the idea of being able to actually live in a past time period and fully and properly experiencing the culture, not it being exclusive to missions or quests.)

    Ancient Adventures
Much like Sims 3's World Adventures, it would be nice to add three new countries to explore, alongside various tombs, cultures, and collectables/artifacts, expanding from Jungle Adventure with archaeology, needing materials to safely proceed within the ancient tombs, etc. Integrate other packs into it, such as Jungle Adventure and Seasons. My personal ideas for the three countries would be Greece, India, and England (like something Arthurian). (May or may not be easy to tell, but being a Tomb Raider fan (prior to 2013) helps with these kind of ideas. lol). But if it must only be one world, I'd choose Greece.

    Under the Sea
Being able to live in underwater bases and/or special underwater mermaid abodes/kingdoms, explore the ocean in a strictly underwater world, which would expand upon the mermaids of Sulani, being able to experience them within the "Fathoms Below" (see what I did there? xD). In fact, you could have it split into various districts, like other worlds. One for humans in modern bases, one for mermaids, one for... something else, whatever that may be. Or just those two lol. Remember, strictly underwater! You can't go to the surface. This world would be entirely its own, negating the need to make underwater lots, which seemed to slow down Isla Paradiso a bit for Sims 3. Expand upon scuba diving, and exploring the great reefs and depths, maybe even a sunken ship! Gain marine biology knowledge, and things of the like. Being able to build or expand upon bases and mermaid homes, adding new mermaid animations in order to interact with the undersea home, or alter preexisting animations to be compatible as such.

    For Game Packs:

    Fairies
Please, please, add this one before you make the Sims 5! I've been desperately... desperate, for such a pack! I'd like to have fairies that have a perk system, much like vampires and spellcasters. Expand upon this occult life state far more than the Sims 3, add new abilities never seen before, and have a new world that's exclusively fairy-like! Enhance and integrate the fairies abilities if one owns the Seasons expansion. Perhaps add some lore as to why some fairies ended up becoming familiars to some spellcasters, while we can create those who weren't taken by them in CAS? Plenty of fairy wing options (butterfly, dragonfly, ladybug, leaves, maybe even angelic?). Beautiful and plentiful fae-like clothes made of leaves, flowers, cloth imitating various bug patterns, enchanter, etc.

    Genies
Honestly, I don't have too many ideas for this one other than perhaps making a genie lamp/bottle livable? Like from "I Dream of Genie"? Maybe you can play as a genie who hasn't been freed yet, and still have expanded abilities once they are free (more than Sims 3's). I would think this could be part of an expansion pack, maybe? Like in my Ancient Adventures idea? I can't see genies having a perk tree like other occults, personally. Or maybe involve this in a type of Moroccan inspired game pack or stuff pack? CAS-able?

    For Stuff Packs:

    Goth Stuff
Such as punk, emo, heavy metal, gothic lolita fashion, modern goth fashion, Victorian gowns and suits, gothic accessories, gothic church-like or castle-like furniture, new instrument designs, new stereos/radios, new decorations, etc. Inclusive for all ages.

    Cute Expression Stuff
As the name suggest, cutesy stuff! Classic and cutesy lolita fashion and other types of cute clothes, toys, dollhouses, cutesy accessories such as hair bows and head bands, cute Japanese anime clothing and decorations, lights, animal (kitties, puppies, etc) themed furniture, sweet (cupcakes, ice cream, bagel, etc) themed furniture. Lots and lots of pastel and rainbow colors, cute hairstyles such as curly pigtails. Maybe add some stuff similar to Katy Perry's Sweet Treat Stuff from the Sims 3. A bit of a girly one, but I think it'd be a lot of fun, personally! Inclusive for all ages.

    Other:
    Werewolves
Perk tree included (not the biggest fan of werewolves, but I know a lot of people are. I'm sure they have a lot of fun ideas!)

Plenty of free updates including the ability to swim in open water in most worlds other than just the three that they're available in (including the secret worlds you could find in the base game), the ability to add lots rather than modifying existing ones, create our own worlds, create our own adventure tombs, color modification in swatches for clothing and hair, fixing bugs as they show up, and other things I'm not thinking of that other fans probably are.

And that concludes it for now.

(You have no idea how long it took me to type and review/edit this... xD)

OH, one other thing! Gypsies. We haven't explored gypsies very well in the Sims series other than the odd fortune teller or cart. I really think they should be expanded upon. Such as with fashion, furniture, being able to join caravans, etc. (I say "etc" a lot, don't I? xD)

You'll get there soon! It looks like you've got a lot to contribute.

Those ideas could almost be combined.

Personally, I think each of the current worlds should have a past version that our sims could travel to.
Medieval windenburg, 1890's willow creek, 1780's forgotten hollow, 1880's oasis springs, 1940's brindleton bay
    Or something like that.

    Yes and yes.

The problem with that idea, is that 🐸🐸🐸🐸 is a racial slur.

Perhaps if it were an esoteric mystics pack. There's a lot of modern 'moon witch' type stuff that could fit with it.
It could be a stuff pack, with a 'table of the mystic' which can be used for card reading, crystal ball reading, runes, and tea leaf reading.

Hmmm... Maybe this could be the pack that finally brings in proper tea parties too. And private tea parties, with tea leaf readings...

ooooh Maybe it could also have seances.

I'm thinking of that late Victorian era trend for seance parties, and hypnosis.

@Movotti Yeah I'm pretty eager to share them, been excited since one of the devs fixed my account problem on here. xD

Oh, I actually did not know it was a racial slur, I'm sorry! You're right, your title for it is much better.
    Sorry about that.

    Very fun threading!
Here are some ideas I have:

Money and Finance EP - loans for all kinds of purposes, real estate careers, personal bank accounts, burglars, casinos

High School EP - Expand the high school experience, exams, popularity, cheerleading, prom, skateboarding, mall where teens hang out, cops

Happy Hunts EP - you know the idea ... Seance boards, paranormal career, crystal ball, carnival and carnival NPC, Makin Magic vibes overall

Showtime EP - bands of course, concerts and recordings, maybe even a supermodel career with fashion shows and runways, maybe a magician or illusionist career, maybe even a circus?

Summer Camp EP - Send the kids to summer camp, space camp, military camp, scout camp. Bunk beds of course !!! In general, a little to disconnect from the adults and go out for an adventures for children only!

Build a city EP - build a new city, be the mayor, city hall, a new update that will allow multilots in one lot, small businesses, real estate, condos or community living of any kind

I LOVE IT AND ALL IS NEEDED MINUS HAPPY HAUNTS (we got it yay!!)

The Finance and Build a city pack is soooooooooooooooooooooooo needed!!! I would hate if the franchise end without these gameplay features

A couple of Expansion Pack ideas I would love to see on Sims 4:

    I. The Amusement Expansion Pack
For this expansion pack, the world (that has the Amusement Park) could be called Hiburan Island or anything really as I do not mind other ideas for the name
    This expansion pack:
    1. Amusement Park
    A. Careers: A "seasonal" career to work at the amusement park while it is open, for teens and adults just like at a real Amusement Park as a vendor, ride operator, and such as this.
    B. Rides: Rollercoasters, bumper cars, swings, kiddie rides, Ferris wheel, scrambler, Tilt-a-whirl, gravitron, round-up, etc.
    C. Vendors: Cotton candy, corn dogs, slushies, ice cream; things you would find at your typical amusement park.
    D. Other things that could be included: New traits such as a Thrill seeker. Gift Shops with souvenirs. A clothing option (like the categories for workout and etc.) just for going to the amusement park as many of us may want to dress differently for riding an amusement ride to what we would wear in our daily wear.

    2. An attached waterpark to the Amusement Park, this would be only available to enter during the day time as unlike regular rides water rides are not made for night time use.
A.Careers: would be the same as normal Amusement rides just for a different part of the park.
    B. Rides: Waterslides, Wave pool, Lazy River, Log ride, and etc.
    C. Vendors: *Look at c under Amusement*
    D. Other Things that could be included: Gift Shops, Special Bathing suits only able to be "bought"/ worn for the waterpark.

    II. The Musicality Expansion Pack
For this expansion pack, I would imagine a world that is dedicated to Musicians: Singers and classical music players, etc. The name could be any name you find appropriate.
Features of the world: Bars and small businesses with the option to do free gigs for startup musicians and paid gigs once the musician is known etc. A "school" of music where students can go to learn skills from masters/teachers in the musical category -such as songwriter, singer, classical, jazz, blues, etc- and/or instrument they wish to learn. A special program for classical musicians/composers to hone their skills and advance their musical career such as an orchestra type of thing.
    A. Careers/goals or achievements: Rock star, Music Teacher/master, Singer, etc.
    B. A few ideas for New items: Stages, drums, special types of guitars, flutes, banjo, saxophone, trumpet and etc. Perhaps a band set that includes all the necessities together?
    C. Traits: Music Star; To be a famous or well-known singer/songwriter, band, and/or classical composers or musicians. Musical Prodigy; to learn to be the best possible performer/writer in a musical genre or career for younger ones (as prodigy entails I suppose).
    D. Other things that could be included: New clothes, makeup, hair, and that would be styled for these type of paths, for example, a rock star and a blues singer would more than likely have different styles to go with their musical genre. An easy way to be sure the music style you wish to learn is easily categorized when you click on your instrument/singing option/etc (if it has multiple genres it can be used in).

I know my descriptions are probability mediocre at best, but I hope I give the general idea of what I was thinking as these are two things I would truly love to see in the Sims 4 and have tried my best to describe what I was thinking.

    Casino Lifestyle

Inspired by The Diamond Casino & Resort DLC in GTA V.

There will be a new world. Also, there will be a new lot type, which is casino. Aside from residential lots, there will be apartments (particularly penthouses) as well, perhaps on the top of a casino building.

A new commodity will be chips, just like bits and pieces in Eco Lifestyle, and are distinctively separate from money.

    Objects will include the following:
    * Slot machines
    * Betting shop for thoroughbred horse races [Inside Track]
    * Lucky Wheel - A Sim can only spin it once every 24 hours. Outcomes will be Simoleons; tangible objects like computer, appliances, etc.; chips; and nothing
    * Three Card Poker table - a casino dealer might be manned to work (If you place it at home, you can request any Sim to man the table)
    * Blackjack table - a casino dealer might be manned to work (If you place it at home, you can request any Sim to man the table)
    * Roulette table - a casino dealer might be manned to work (If you place it at home, you can request any Sim to man the table)
    * Luxurious furniture similar to Get Famous
    * Standard 52-card deck

    New skill: Gambling

New aspiration: (It's up to you for naming it)

New career? (Not sure of this)

New trait: Gambler (almost similar to Materialistic, but it tackles more of autonomous gambling interaction, this will be under Lifestyle type, conflicts with Freegan)

    Integrations with other packs:
    Seasons - Gambling Day
Get Famous - Winning a gambling challenge or getting a champion in a slot machine will gain fame

If you have more ideas about this, you can quote this post and make a comment on this.

THE SIMS FRANCHISE REALLY NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO GAMES LIKE GTA V AND CYBER PUNK 2077....OMG THERE ARE MANY MISSED OPPORTUNITIES THAT THE FRANCHISE IS NOT HITTING BUT THE OTHER GAMES HAVE DONE EXTREMELY WELL. I LOVE MOST DEFINITELY BUY A PACK THAT IS SIMILAR TO THE CASINO IS GTA V

It would be great if there was a skill pack that featured tennis! It could be called Tennis Stuff or Tennis Day and it would have everything necessary for building a tennis court.. Tennis game play interactions, with rackets, and balls.. Plus tennis fashion items such as outfits and shoes.. I think this would make a great stuff pack or game pack..

So here's my idea for an expansion pack....

    ZODIAC!

The player gets to pick a zodiac sign for their sim, which then gives them a certain personality, traits, likes etc which can be adjusted if they want. It could also come with a certain look for each zodiac, for example: Sagittarius looks like a strong archer or Pisces looks like a mermaid/fish, or Aquarius is airy / hippy-ish.

Hope this makes some sort of sense but I just feel like it would be such a good idea for a pack.
