Oh gosh yes! I think Cathy first pointed me at it, and I've been working through it at my very slow pace. I'm almost done with challenge one and have a million other ideas to continue playing.
Sorry I have been gone for a long time. My husband passed on April 3rd and I haven't been on here since a few days before that happened. I hope you all are still having fun getting murky. I am revamping the builds, households and challenges. And I started streaming so if you are into seeing murky streams, you can find me on Twitch under Brennachan. Stay murky, my friends!
There is not currently a save file available. You can find all of the lots and sims needed to get started in Brennachan's gallery. Just search "Brennachan" in the gallery ID filter to find all of the originals. You can also search the "murkland" hashtag to find more creations made by others to play with alongside of this challenge if you are interested.
Does anyone know of murky replacement lots for the special lots in Windenburg? Von Haunt Estate, Ancient Ruins, or Island Bluffs?
Edit: Trying to Murk-ify the world. So any help would be very appreciated.
I haven't seen any myself but some lots have been redone for other worlds in "murky" style for @Minraed 's weekly streams. Try checking the hashtag "minraedminis" on the gallery for more lots that may not have the "Murkland" hashtag.
I'm more of a builder and recently stumbled across the Murkland Challenge. I started playing it and just felt inspired to try and make my own Apocalyptic challenge which I'm calling Grimville. I have changed all the lots in Windenburg and Moonwood Mill (and one in Mt Komorebi) into post-apocalyptic builds and I've created loads of households. I'm currently playtesting it. The starter part of this challenge is similar to the Murkland starter but I've tried to incorporate some Eco Lifestyle things. The challenges that follow the starter is different to Murkland as I wanted to include later expansion pack things and put my own spin on it. I wanted to send a message out to Brennachan just to check that this would be OK with you since I did take inspiration from your Challenge.

This sounds amazing & it's great that you found inspiration in Murkland, that's what it's all about. I'd be really interested to see & hear more about Grimville, I don't follow the challenge exactly myself anymore either. It's a great starting point but Eco Lifestyle is just too great for this sort of thing to not use it.
Brenna has taken a step back from the sims for a moment, so they might not see this post, but they would be thrilled to hear that you're finding inspiration in this & I'll pass on the message.
Thank you so much for responding and for passing it on. Once I've fully playtested it all, I will definitely post the details on the forum. Again, much appreciated.
