Can't Post Images in My Post

First all, I'm not sure where to post this so that's why I chose this board.
So I've been with the forums for years now and have been active but I'm trying to post images in my post but can't figure out how.

Can I upload them directly from my pc?
If not, where is the best web host for images that I can use in the image url box?

You need to upload them to a photo sharing site such as imgur.com and then use their links to share here as we can't share pictures to this site directly from our computer.

hehehe, that's just my Shaggy Rogers who woke up late one night after hearing Scooby barking at something in their yard...

I'm about ready to replace that picture with a Christmas picture when I get some more taken in my game...

Okay so I have the url link now and it shows in the edit box of my post but when I hit preview it only shows what I typed and not the image or image url so how can I be sure I'm doing it right?

And that's funny about Shaggy and Scooby.

Hello
When the image is the first thing that is in your post, the image often doesn’t appear in the preview section. Try typing in a a few lines of words, then the image link and see if it appears in preview then.
