My viewpoint may have shifted on this as of late, but as much as Candy Behr is eye-candy and hard to look away from on the dance floor, I could see "do" but not "I do". As for men, a couple of my own creations would be my top choices, but for premades...I used to find Caleb Vatore irritating, but don't any longer (deeper interpretations help) and he has the advantage of being versatile and reasonably domestic, and a hedonist.

For sheer hedonism as I have seen in the game, Mila Munch is quite the wolf in sheep's clothing and there's something to say for experience. Along those lines, Simeon Silversweater is kind of a chubby bear, which has its own charm, and as with Mila, in my games, he's been full of surprises. And being married to a Sage of Practical Magic would be quite the deal, though his hair needs some help. He'd rock bald, better than that messy low ponytail.

I'd so have to say Armond DeBateau. It's everything you'd want from a Sim. Unfortunate past romance you'd feel bad for, rich, wears a suit. And his adoptive daughter Tara is nice... I'd probably say herinstead though if they were aged to adult (or YA for S3/S4 players)
@bella_goth out of curiosity, what is he like, that appeals to you? Not doubting, I just never plunged the depths of that particular character so want to know, what lies beneath the surface of Mortimer Goth?

I married Travis in game the first time I played and he was really sweet dorky type. Probably would go for Makoa because he is also a sweet dorky type.
Edit: I forgot Makoa has a wife lol. I'd feel guilty so I guess I'm sticking with Travis.
