When Renovating . . .

When renovating, is there a way to quickly remove all furniture in the house?

Like put them in household inventory? No fast way except to drag them one by one.

Keep walls and just remove items? Click on a item in the house and just drag(don’t remember too well on this)

Just want to remove all furniture in one easy step, if this is possible.

You can use the Backspace key to add them to your family inventory.

To delete, you do as SelinaKyles said. It removes wall decor and windows as well though.

No, just want to remove all the furniture as fast as possible.

Wonder if there is a mod for this.

If it's your own build you can always save it to the gallery and then download again unfurnished!

Even if it's not your own. Just save it to the library and place again unfurnished.

You can move a household out to an empty lot. Everything will be picked up and placed in their household inventory. Then move them back in.. all can be done from managed worlds.
It's still a pain to delete everything in your household inventory but at least you know you got everything up.
Just make sure you have enough to buy the house back. I guess you could always go with them to the empty lot, prior to buying the original lot back to sell off what you don't want if you want to recoup the money.

Or you can evict them and the stuff gets left behind.. When you chose to move back in you can select unfurnished and the price will lower without the stuff.

Yes, that's right. I've just done a check so you don't have to go upload to the Gallery just "My Library" Maxis have changed the downloads to choose between furnished or unfurnished. I'm not sure when they did this as I upload mine unfurnished and then furnish them!

If you don't wanna keep it, click and drag with the sledgehammer.

This is what I do... Save house to gallery and place again unfurnished. No one has to move.

Simple way. Move some sims in, or create a sim to move in. Then move them out to another lot and chose "sell furniture". ;)

PS: It's a good idea to keep both furnished and unfurnished houses in your Library as sometimes you can't be bothered to do all that work of furnishing again and just do a few renovations!
