    Playables as service NPCs?

    I've noticed recently while on Bridgeport that whenever Story Progression causes a fire, Jun Xu often goes to tackle it (judging by the dialogue of her getting stuck getting to a fire). Usually I've never seen a playable Sim work as a service NPC before at all.

    Is that pretty normal to happen in game and I've just never noticed? Just wondering because I'd love to see one of the Law Enforcement career Sims in my town come when burglars arrive.

      I'm pretty sure (but hope to be corrected if I've got this wrong) that if Ambitions is in play and there is a firehouse in town, then the game might substitute career firefighters for the NPC ones if their services are needed and if they are available/on duty at the time. That doesn't mean they have become an NPC Service Sim, the two classes of sims are still distinct.

      Or possibly Jun became homeless for some reason or another and got signed up to be in the service pool and is thus no longer really playable?
