      I saw people linking them on twitter.

      I have never been a fan of the sims marketing videos but in this one they don't even show the actual game. I think they should have just skipped the weird transition to those 3D models.

      There is also plenty of stuff they could have chosen but they went with deep diving, which is not in the game for the second ad?

      The living room one is the only one that's actually doable in game, if you remove the fact that a realtor with clients just walked in. The water world one is the absolute worst and the reason a lot of countries do have laws against false advertising. The mermaid bath is almost true, but you can't snack or brush your teeth in the tub, although, you can do those things in game, just not all at that same time. :/

      To be fair though, you can brush your teeth and eat at the same time in the game (yes, it's disgusting) but you can't do it in the bathtub, you can drink and take a bath at the same time though.

      Point being that’s a major false advert. There is no under water living, yeah I get your point about you can’t multitask doing those things, but the whole water life is not at all possible.

      Yeah they could have gone with seasons or pets related stuff instead of that. It's bizarre lol

      But I love the way the sims look in those ads.

      The Waterworld feels like they are taunting the players who wanted underwater lot for mermaid :D

      The water one looks cool! But makes no sense in game. The brushing teeth and eating chips made me gag.

      Even the Sims 2 original ad was nothing like the game. It was actually pretty rauchy I have no idea how that flew past my moms radar lol:

      The gameplay is not like this but still pretty alive.
      The Sims has currently lost its identity. Bring it back for TS5

      ummmm I don't think 2nd one is even remotely possible

      i mean firstly youd need to get your sim in bed but its surrounded by pool like okay maybe you could build pool after they sleep so maybe that but i don't think theyd route out of the bed to the pool and well the diving part... not even a thing

      also why couldn't they just use actual sims cause the sims dont even look like sims


      aaand finally: why new ads? why now? what is the reason marketing?

      You can indeed eat while on the toilet. Don’t know about the bath tub tho.

      I'm very confused. The graphics don't even look like Sims 4? And why are the videos called The Sims Life: rather than The Sims 4. It makes it sound like they're talking about another game? There's even a whole new webpage dedicated to "The Sims Life"

      Is this their rebranding or the "Sims 4.5" thing they were talking about? Instead of Sims 5 they'll just rebrand the Sims 4 as "The Sims Life"?

      To the long term TS4 simmer these adverts seem rather peculiar indeed...

      I counted over 30 cats in that cat video. Surely, they can't be part of the household?
      Even if the guy's place has the cat hangout lot trait....that amount of cats won't visit the lot without a mod...

      And the underwater one....I wish! I'd make her swim to the sink and grab a glass of water. See how she feels about that.
