Your wood cabin lodge themed restaurant is lovely! @lfldieyoung It looks so very warm and homely! Very nice exterior design, roofing and the wood texture is great! Very nice back deck area with pretty string lights and umbrella covered tables to enjoy dining outdoors in the air. Very lovely furnishing of the interior! The dining tables look very nice the way they have been set up in the room and the candles are pretty on top of them. The older style floor rugs adds to the warm homely look and feel to the restaurant. The fireplace will keep the room warm. The build looks extra pretty at night time!
Active Family Home is a lovely home for the challenge! @luckyheather Your makeover of the home is very nice! The blue and white colour scheme of the exterior and interior is pretty and calming. The lilypads water fountain feature is pretty! The roofing design and skylight looks great! Very nice pool and outdoors dining, bbq patio! Sims will enjoy sitting near the fireplace eating cooked bbq meals. The platforming looks great! Very nice hot tub corner nook patio. The gardening boxes nook is very nice. The open plan interior layout and the furnishings are lovely! The wood textured furnishings give a very nice warm look and feel to the home. The water fountain feature in one of the bathrooms is pretty! Very nice basement gym and bedroom areas.
It is a very nice family home!
Thank you @rosemow for saying all those lovely things about the Active Family Home I could not think of another name for it, but I really enjoyed this shell, sometimes I enjoy other peoples shells more than making a home from scratch. This was a great one to do and a challenge for me to restrict how many packs I can use. Im glad you like it Thank you.
I just want to add A TIP.... for those who are creating a Snow Globe for Sparkd challenge. The Get Famous Pack has a 'Special Effects Machine' that goes on ceiling height and there are a lot of choices to chose including Snow, bubbles, ash, money, sparkles and more Its great to hide in a tree for example or just to use over a dance floor as I have. I hope this is of use.

Don’t you just hate those 3 AM thoughts? Yesterday I lay awake thinking “I haven’t had a bath in months,” (that’s because I usually shower! Just wanted to clarify LOL). And what do I do? Instead of taking under 10 minutes to draw a bath, I spent the whole day making a public bathhouse in TS4.
As the Japanese have their onsen, the Turks have their hammam. These are traditional public baths where they enjoy steamy baths and massage and get thoroughly scrubbed for both physical and spiritual cleansing. .
Guests enter through this gate.
And walk around the courtyard/gardens towards their designated bathhouse. (Real hammam are separated by sexes but my game wouldn’t cooperate when I playtested, so now we have two mixed baths 😅).
This would be the guys’ reception. The lockers/changing “rooms” are behind the half wall,
Like this, in the ladies’ reception.
So, errr—this is where the build gets sloppy. In a hammam, you have this “ritual” to follow. You enter through rooms of increasing heat. The first room would have been a large decorated changing vestibule (which have been reduced to the reception rooms above).
The second room is a large steamy marble one with taps and basins all around (for pouring water over yourself) and a large marble slab in the middle where you can lie down and an attendant will massage and scrub you. Reference pic:
I can recreate this look in game but I wanted our Sims to go through the experience, so I shoved all these spa equipment in there. Now our Sims can have the massage LOL! In the alcoves where the taps used to be, I put in these nice mirrored tables as an homage. Then ruined said homage by putting various clutter on them. 😅
Here are some showers (for actual washing/scrubbing).
I don’t think hammam in Istanbul have this. But in regions where there are hot springs, I know they still have plunging pools, so I’ll just put some in.
And then the last room would be the sauna—which is pretty much the same in every culture.
So that's Hammam Spa. It’s pretty simple, but I hope you guys liked it.
The Hammam Spa is beautiful! @orenjiAi You have designed and furnished it so very well! It was great reading what you wrote about each area. The Turkish style exterior design and the layout is very nice! The courtyard area with water fountain feature areas is very pretty! The interior areas are lovely for sims to enjoy relaxing in the hot springs, have relaxing massages and enjoy spending time in the sauna. The wall tiling is lovely!
Christmas Guest Room is a very lovely festive guest bedroom! @chips46 The brown, white, green, red colors and the wall paneling are very nice! The festive garlands, string decorations and string snowflakes on the walls are pretty! Lovely festive green and red curtains on the very nice snowflakes patterned windows! The wood textured furnishings are warm and calming! Very nice festive fireplace armchair sitting corner to enjoy the warmth of the fire whilst reading the books from the fireplace ledge. The lamp is great behind the chair. The pretty Christmas tree is lovely for the grandparents to look at whilst sitting there.
I have posted more about the room on the challenge thread.
@luckyheather your screenshots of my challenge are just FANTASTIC!!! The online gallery does NOT DO THIS BUILD JUSTICE!!! Thanks for posting more pics here for everyone to see! This is a amazing build and I would LOVE to live in this in REAL LIFE!! I love the landscaping (my favorite thing!!!) and the color scheme used is fabulous! I love that you left the 1st floor open and added a basement! Thanks again for participating!

White Christmas is a beautiful guest bedroom! @luckyheather The white and gold color scheme and the vintage gold wall pattern is lovely! The snow on the floor is a great touch! The stars, strings of snowflakes and snowflakes patterned windows are pretty! The elegant Christmas tree is lovely for the grandparents as they enjoy sitting resting on the sofa reading books from the bookcase, knitting and watching Christmas movies on the tv. They will enjoy having drinks from the globe bar whilst sitting there.
I have posted more about your room on the challenge thread.
Aww thanks @luckyheather! I’m glad you liked it. And speaking of realistic, your Active Family Home is looking pretty realistic too. I love it. I’m getting Scandi vibes from it. With its open floor plan and color scheme. Also who knew the Eco Lifestyle stuff would match so very well with Snowy Escape’s? Hope all is well on your end!
Thank you @rosemow for that great weeks challenge and for the wonderful review saying what you noticed and liked about my White Christmas bedroom. I hope you also liked the idea of snow falling behind the bed, there is also a snowdrift behind. Its a shame we cant see the snow falling in the gallery only in the screenshots and live mode, I do love those effects machines from get famous. Thanks again for your review on here and in my thread and your challenge thread

Thanks @orenjiAi for saying my Active Family Home looks realistic and a bit Scandinavian I never thought of that I should google them for ideas! Yes I found Eco and the Snowy Escape stuff ties in quite well The Chall was 3 packs only and the long ceiling lights from Tiny Living were perfect colours for above the kitchen island but I had to change them for the chall that was a shame.
Im ok thanks but for the normal back pain, covid here is bad but I dont go out anyway I hope you are well, thanks for asking.

Story for the #oneroomoneweekonetheme by @rosemow
Melody did her best to make her elderly parents feel special this Christmas and she added some hobby items to their bedroom as John loves to ride on tram's and is fascinated by bridges. Grace likes to knit and she enjoys taking her dog for walks. They both enjoy reading and watching a good movie. Another special item is the cork board with old postcards from friends they still have from family Holidays.
