This was a lot of work but I'm very happy to have made a Japanese styled house with the new pack! I actually visited Japan and stayed at three different host family houses, so I tried to incorporate all of them into this build. I hope you enjoy!

Thank you @rosemow for that amazing review of the Japanese Outdoors Kitchen I am so glad you liked it and liked my way of showing how thankful I am to have the Sims games to play all these years, as I have played since Sims 1 and that I am thankful that we have beautiful nature across the world Thank you for the great challenge I enjoyed joining in even though we do not have Thanksgiving in England.

The Vesper (Martini) "shaken, not stirred" is a large Japanese style family home created in Mt Komorebi. There are 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, open plan living areas plus various outer buildings for games, robotics, Onsen spa, gardening and generators. Rear garden includes swimming pool, child and toddler play areas, bbq patio and place for relaxation
My first post here. It's not really on the level of other lots shared here in terms of creativity but I felt like Del sol Valley should have a vineyard so I built one.

Dear @rosemow a very big thank you for your very beautiful and detailed review, your words and kindness are always greatly welcomed and much appreciated
Whoo! Finally got my grubby hands on Snowy Escape over the week and thus I was inspired to build again! I'll be throwing these in the gallery once soon I make some finishing touches and figure out some proper names for them.
I really like the Senbamachi neighborhood, so all 3 builds here were meant to fit in that particular area. I was really taken out of my comfort zone with these builds, but I was quick to do some research. I really didnt care for the premade homes, they still seemed too "western"? in an old historic eastern area in my opinion. Sentō (銭湯)
I really wish there was at least one slightly bigger lot in Senbamachi. I had to squeeze this in where the park used to be. Anyway! An old neighborhood like this would DEFINITELY have a sentō (銭湯), or public bathhouse. I do like this build, but I feel this is a build I'll be coming back to in the future. For now I like it. Pics in spoiler!
6-4-1 Hanamigawa
I have 2 saves, so I built two different lots. Though, I got alot of inspiration from Japanese kyo-machiya (京町家) for them both. This one is built with perhaps a small family in mind. By the way, keep an eye out for a small shrine in both houses! That's a Kamidana (神棚)!
Tatami room:
Western room:
Bedroom: (still need futons though!)
Tatami room 2:
Tatami room 3:
Courtyard:
6-4-1 Hanamigawa 2
While the first lot is built to have more people live in, this one is more apartment style for one person to live in. They're smaller, simpler but have a lovely balcony view of the river and private backyard. Since its basically 2 houses in one, a roommate could live with your sim and have their own "house"! With that in mind, only one side is furnished.
