Someone please help me! I'm trying to check the lotto records for the future guy but I can't because he gave me this same quest before. I have already checked the records and it won't let me check again. It says that I have to buy a winning lotto ticket in the present world. So I went back and bought not one, but three and it still does not work. I have tried deleting and replacing the town hall but that won't work. I can't go back to an earlier save file because I accidentally overwrote this one like five times in a row... How do I finish this quest??

This is my first comment within the Sims 4 forums and I think it's utterly stupid that you have to "earn" the right to be on here and to post. I've been in the Sims community for well over a decade and ever since the release of The Sims 4, I've felt excluded from the community. I mostly just keep to myself now because of how difficult it is to be allowed on here. Never had issues on The Sims 2 or Sims 3 sites.
here's a crazy idea... why don't we create a thread specific for new members... have them post anything there and give every post a like so they can earn points faster haha... this is just me being stupid tho, dont take it to seriously ;)
In order to be able to posts pictures and have an avatar, you first need to become a full member because as of right now you are considered a new member. New members are restricted from starting new threads, posting pictures and links, having an avatar or changing one, sending private messages to other members. In order to become a full member, you will need to have 25 points, 15 posts and an account older than 24 hours. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/978073/new-members-guide-welcome-to-the-forums
A link with a list of badges that gives out points. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/badges
And this link is a tutorial on how to use the site.. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/811263/a-complete-forum-tutorial/p1
A link for a thread for New Members to introduce themselves to the community. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/817478/hello-come-and-introduce-yourself/p1
I would suggest for all new members to go and read the rules of the site before posting...
A link to Forums Etiquette, Warning/Banning Process and the Forum Rules... http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/forum-rules
And I would also suggest reading the thread about necroposting as well as there is a rule about it in the rules section. I would also suggest checking the title of thread as well as the location of the thread since we have older Sims games sharing this forum. An example would be if you're a TS4 player and have an issue with the game, please check to make sure that they thread that you have brought up isn't a TS2/TS3. I have provided links at the bottom of this post for "New Members" to be able to posts their issues in. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/946943/necroposting#latest
For any New members who want to get their post/point count up, the best thing that I would advise you to do is to find threads that may interest you and join in on them or go to the Off Topic section and join in on some of the word/story games over there. The posts made over in the forum section will go towards your post count whereas the posts made on your wall and the Activity Feed doesn't go towards the total post count. The only thing that you will get if you should make any post over on your wall or Activity Feed will be any Insightfuls, Likes or Awesomes as they will go towards your total points count. Hopefully creating your posts on other threads will also increase your points... https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories
And for anyone who may have any issues with TS3, here's the link for New Members to post their TS3 issues in.

The EA team has moved The Sims 4 Help Center section to the Answers HQ Forums now. The Sims 4 Help Center section on this forum is now "Read Only". So you will need to click on this link if you have any issues that you want to report to EA and hopefully get the help that you need... https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/ct-p/the-sims-4-en
And for name changes, you can request them on either @Rtas or @EA_Leeloo page...
I understand the concerns about spamming, but for people who are just looking for a way to share their challenge idea in a thread so it might get some recognition, it is really tedious and it feels like I'm spamming in all kinds of threads just to get the member status. I have so much respect for all of those who have the patience for people complaining like me, I couldn't do it myself

@noeba, you have the post counts as well as the points, now you just need to wait for your 24 hour period is up to become a full member... 😀
<<Useless comment to build up posts so i can ask my question. If this is what it takes then this is dumb but necessary.>> I have made posts but then restriction change and I am no longer able to post? Like i've been on here for a long time and I only come here for help but I can't even get that since i can't ever ask my question.
Literally only made an account to try and participate in a building challenge. Saw the membership requirements and.... might not stick around. Hardly seems worth it.
Hello @LilynWolf Welcome to the forums
If the building challenge requires you to post pictures, you can post the links in your challenge entry post and another simmer will post the pictures for you until you become a full member.
I made an account here in hope of getting help. Instead I am met with this point system. How do I delete an account here? I couldn't find any way to ask this by searching old posts.

Hello @Quickfragger
To delete an account, you will need to post on the activity wall of Ea_Leeloo about wanting to delete it.
You are unable to delete your own account @Quickfragger. An EA Community Manager needs to do it. It may be a few days but if you post on the activity wall of Ea_Leeloo, she will be in contact with you.
Thanks for creating this post. I was very confused about the ranking system. I really wanna become a member soon so I can post pictures of my gameplay! :D Thank you, OP.

Hello @DanielDudleyUK Welcome to the forums!
The number of points and posts needed to become a full member has changed. You now need to have 25 points and 15 posts before you can become a full member. This thread explains about it.

I don't know. I looked at that activity page and there is user that asked for a deletion 10 days ago that still haven't been deleted.
