I'm new to the "paint your own no cc art" and looked/read a lot about making it. So yesterday I made my first painting-by-reference of a painting on an adjacent lot. But when I saved it, it's keeps showing up as cc whatever I try (deleted all my mod-files, changing to a third lot and left the paintings behind). Is there somebody who can help me with this?
Thanks, Mieke

I recommend doing this at several points during the building process, so you won't discover you have a lot of rework looming at the end.
Hello @Miekevdwaal
With the latest game patch, EA has made it that all new art done in this way will be classified as being cc. All art done before the patch is still considered NOCC.
The tutorial can now no longer be used.
I could have missed it but is there a tutorial on how to share your builds if you have CC in them or how to share CC that are in your builds?
Hello @LadyPetunias
Simmers can still share their builds on the galley when they contain cc, but none of the cc will download with it. Simmers need to list in the build description where their cc comes from, and other simmers can then go to the cc sites and download it themselves.

Is that allowed in the gallery? I mean we have limited space in the description

You could write it in the Comments section as well. You can write in the description area that you will list the cc in the comments section.
It's a small thing, but if you want to have a bed that looks like a sofa bed grab a loveseat (preferably the plain base game one) and put it where the headboard of the bed would be. It's functional and your sims can sleep on the bed
I have a short building-related question as well. I built an appartment and wanted to upload it to the gallery. While I know how to trick the system into counting the whole appartment as a single room and upload it as a room, I have problems with stairs. Is there some trick to include stairs in a room when uploading? The appartment I was working on has 2 storeys and the stairs don't get included in either if I try to upload each storey separately as a room. Is there a solution to this problem or is it simply impossible to upload appartments with more than one storey including the stairs?

Hello @Cinna32 , I am sorry but you can’t upload stairs in a room. There isn’t a way to do that. It needs to be a lot to include stairs.
Thank you for your answer. That's sad this isn't possible. I really wish they'd offer a better option to upload appartments. This is so frustrating.
I am kind of lost as to why not upload as a lot. If there are stairs, going up, that would still be the same apartment, if they are in the actual apartment, no?

Thanks Mieke

We are unable to paint ceilings. It would be great if we could but the feature isn’t in Sims 4.
