So I usually use this to convert simspacks to .packages
Today its doing something funky with my packages

Its converting them to these types of files

when it should look like this, these I already had installed.)

Anyone know what's going on?

Here's a video of how mine usually looks.

Solution: Make sure the check box is ticked and that packs aren't worlds, patterns or lots.

Mmh to me it just looks like you didn't have ticked the box that says 'Rename files on save...' because in the screenshot it reads they are package files ?
The times when I've had files with names like that (even with the box ticked) it's when I've used it on sims, buildings and worlds.

Agreed. Looks like you didn't rename it.

I think that might be it, but I never ticked it before...maybe it was automatically ticked and somehow got unticked.
I will look and see if some of the items are sims or buildings.I downloaded a folder that had a lot of CC clothing in it so I will go through and look. Thanks!

Evidently sometimes it will uncheck itself. Happens to every program that has some sort of checkbox toggle. So my suggestion would be to make sure that you uncheck and then re-check the box every time you use it. It's a hassle, but at least it will tell the program that you want the files renamed.

Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~

Also it can't rename stuff if there are multiple files in a sims3pack though that's pretty rare to download IMO. I always have to check it off whenever I open the program and usually don't forget.
