That is so cool about the person who posted this thread!! Im struggling to grow but I know that is in part because I was very inconsistant these past 5 months, I let the craziness in my life stop me from playing. But I am back at it and I know as long as Im having fun it will be worth it...Im gonna play anyway, may as well record it 😁
Unfortunately, a lot of what you get is other new yt simmers saying "hey lets support each other" which is cool, you do it with like 5 people then a few weeks later 3 of them sneakily unsubscribe. And because they keep their subscriptions private you cant tell which one it was. It's very rude, I always keep mine public so people can know I am a subscriber. But lesson learned unless I am subscribing because I truly am a fan of the content, I will no longer "sub 4 sub" with anyone who has theirs on private.
That being said, I have made some yt friends with a few simmers where we actually do support each others content and channels, and that's awesome.

I use OBS to record my gameplay and Open Shot to edit my videos. I like OBS a lot and I've used it since I started making Sims gameplay videos. I've tried several video editing programs and Open Shot is pretty good. The features are pretty limited, but I find it to be very reliable.

I also highly advise against doing sub for subs unless you know your subscribers are going to actually watch and interact with your videos. Views and interaction is what gets your videos upped on the suggested and search feed, not subscriber count.

anyways, so I really like to do builds/reno's/townie makeovers. I decided to just start filming then and posting them. Anyway, if anyone would take the time to check them out that would be cool. They're all speed throughs, otherwise they videos would be hours long. I don't really have super great building techniques. I like to keep the houses I make simple so that they're cute but also easy to use in Gameplay without sims glitching and getting stuck. I'll link my three most recent videos if anyone wants to check them out and I'll definitely return the favor! :) The first video is a reno, the second one is a makeover, and the third is a build. All my reno's/builds are also in the gallery under my UN: amyycameronn
