@rosemow Thanks! There are lots of details missing in my original build, I'm working on adding features without losing that stark, monochrome black vibe.
Welcome to Burg Schreckenstein!
Visit an original Windenburg style chateau, embedded in the beautiful Windenburg landscape.
In the center you will find the Dônjon and the Main Castle as well as the Castle Gate and Stables.
In the east, north and west there are fortifications from different periods and of different architecture.
Enjoy your stay in this testimony of former building mastery and take back home some nice memories.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
Burg Schreckenstein is a very detailed and very lovely build! @Bonxie The architecture, layout and design are very beautiful! The towers, stone texture, bridges and each area of the build is so very great! It is a very special build!
I've been working on the Crashdown Cafe from Season 2 of Rosewell, New Mexico. Unfortunately, I can't put it on the gallery because I used so much CC from all over and don't remember where everything came from. I was able to do recolors to include the actual Super Science posters from the show, but I wasn't able to create the alien or UFO murals for the interior walls. I also wasn't able to do the real signs/neon or the statues, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out anyway. I send my sims there to eat all the time, and it looks really awesome. I haven't done the apartment upstairs yet, but it is still a WIP.
Your Crashdown Cafe build looks very great! @bookish_sammy It is very nice that you made a sims gameversion of a cafe from a tv show. I haven’t watched the show so am unsure what it looks like but your version is lovely! Very nice exterior, and great interior furnishings and layout! The windows booth dining areas are very nice! Very nice balcony dining tables and chairs area. Very nice furnishing of the coffee machine area.
Today I started making this community lot its was inspired by a Sims 2 Bon Voyage Vacation lot called 'Ruins of Jumbok IV' and mine is a lot more coulourful as its on Sulani and I spent an age building the bases and adding plants, I think its pretty The central statue has a swimming pool. On the left a hot tub, bar and loungers, plus 2 bathrooms inside. On the right BBQ and picnic and up steps to get a massage like the original.
Your community lot WIP based on the Sims 2 Bon Voyage lot is very lovely! @luckyheather Your version look so very beautiful! Very lovely landscaping with the flowers, plants and trees! The hot tub and loungers area is very nice! Very lovely central statue area!
The build is looking very pretty, with lovely colors
Thank you @rosemow I am pleased you think it looks pretty with lots of colours I dont know what I should call it though when finished, the original name or something similar. Thanks for taking a look and telling me what you think I appreciate it.
Yes I think I will @rosemow I think 'TS2 Ruins of Jumbok' in case anyone remembers the place as no doubt quite a few simmers played sims 2. I loved all the vacation countries they were great to go to.
Looking at the picture of mine here I think the bases/walls could look better a bit taller and the dark stone looks too dark, I often take a few screenshots to see what a build will look like to others and I often go to save to see what the gallery pictures are like in case anything blocks the build Thanks for your reply rosemow.
So many beautiful builds I feel embarrassed to post mine
I planned to build something modern for my 2 young vampires that are ready to move out of an apartment. However, I was watching something on the history channel and got inspired by that instead. So I ended up with ...
A cottage!
This isn't my comfort zone at all, but I've tried to make it traditional.
Your cottage is very beautiful! @CelSims Very lovely exterior design, curved roofing, awnings, pretty flowerbox windows, beautiful flowerbeds! Very nice homely rocking chairs sitting area on the front porch. The backyard pond with frog fountain is pretty! Very nice outdoors dining area to enjoy eating food cooked on the grill, in a lovely floral setting. Very lovely, warm and homely interior furnishings! The wood texture of the furniture is very nice. Very lovely kitchen! The gingham wall pattern is nice, and lovely old style double stove nook! The leaves wall decor, fruit wall art, dish rack and fruit bowl are homely touches. Very pretty and homely floral wallpaper in the living room and bedroom. Very nice fireplace sitting and crafting area in the living room. Very nice study room! Sims will enjoy using the computer with sunlight coming in through the windows and listening to music from the speaker. The teddy is cute on the bookshelves!
It is a lovely homely cottage!
Thats a wonderful cottage @CelSims its so pretty outside and inside, and I love how you did the stoves in an alcove! I must try (pinch) that idea sometime I hope we will get a peek at your original idea
Your bridge build is very lovely! @Bonxie Very creatively great exterior design, layout, and towers! The spires, stone wall texture, windows used, are very nice! The flowerboxes on the edges of the bridge and vases on the columns are pretty!
It is a very lovely build!
Making progress on a domed courtyard home for the Literature challenge thread. @Taoron If I plant some of the planters will they look the same if I upload them to the gallery? Do they stay grown or go back to seedling phase?
This is what I have been upto today Trying to create a Ship that was trapped by Rocks and Reef then taken over by some Mermaids. Still lots to do. The colours I am trying to use are soft Coral tones and some golds.

Now that you mention it, I also seem to remember fully grown plants in the gallery. I will do more searching.
