I love this thread. I can't post any pictures at the moment but I recently got a new laptop and so I've redownloaded Sims 3 and I'm shocked at how well it runs im used to lots of lag. Anyway I decided to start off with a legacy for my first save on my new laptop and I created Angelica Lockhart. She recently had twin girls Bree and Briar Lockhart with her boyfriend Oliver Mcoy and they just moved into their new house. I'm planning on them getting married when the twins are children so they can be bridesmaids.

Like I said in another thread, I'm playing the Goth family. Mortimer just aged up to a teen, and is dating Bella...of course. Their first date, he broke curfew and was escorted home by the cops. Cornelia grounded him but he begged Gunther for forgiveness and was let off the hook. Up to that point, he hadn't gotten into any trouble. He was late for curfew because he/we wanted to make sure she got home.
Cornelia and Gunther decided to try for a baby right before Mortimer aged up to a teen. They had a girl, named Ophelia. She just aged up to a toddler before I exited the game last night.
I came in to the Sims franchise late into to TS3. I think it was around a year before Supernatural came out, which was my first expansion pack. Back then, I had no idea about the Goth family or Mortimer and Bella. They were just two kids in Sunset Valley. I've had so much fun playing with them. I think had it not been for them being kids in TS3, I wouldn't have cared so much. I love a good origin story.
@SweetieWright_84 It sounds like you're having fun with the Goths Although I have played with Mortimer and Gunther I don't play the whole family. Morty has long been a favourite of mine

But of course, my sim is not the "love 'em and leave 'em type". He's developing a harem. Yeah, I'm gonna catch hell for this one. I'm too old to be politically correct. @Mikezumi, I definitely am. I never play with premades but I didn't really feel like spending hours in CAS. I was inspired by PleasantSims on YouTube. I gave them all makeovers using stuff from Supernatural. Unfortunately, I didn't think about taking pictures. I may snap a few when I get back in game.

In a way, I agree. I feel like she's overrated, to be quite honest. But for better or worse, I feel like they're destined to be together forever...or ya know, until she disappears in TS2. I really don't have a full plan on what I will do, I usually just play everything by ear. I know they're definitely going to have kids, whatever happens after that is anyone's guess.
The first time I tried my game got corrupted on the second generation. It's the family in my profile pic haha. Jared Frio's file seemingly got replaced with that of the time traveler Emit Relevart. You could only ask him about the almanac of time.
The second time I tried the legacy challenge the founder married Hank Goddard but I honestly got sick of the save cause Jared Frio is much more fun to play
Now's my third time, the founder married Jared Frio again and they had a baby girl then I sent Jared to University for the fun of it. The baby has some bad custom content I can't locate I'm hoping she grows out of it. It's that brown line
Also turns out you can get insanely rich at uni by completing day jobs?? What's up with that!

I had one of my sims marry Hank in my early days of simming and you're right about him not being as much fun as Jared but I liked him anyway ... maybe not so much now since I mostly play my own sims

I'd remade my sims 3 couple as close to their original selves as I could, but in separate households and realized, after quitting, that I've been using the wrong version of Carson Lowell! His original self had cc hair and the one I'm using has no cc, except default eyes/skin/eyebrows. *facepalm* I'm already halfway into the first week so I may just stick with it.

As a story teller I have too many current households, for a example:
SINISTER SINS: An underground multinational metal band with nice skills, edgy style, beautiful members, sexy VR, QYT The Stirrer, dark secret
Tianya "Suicide" Sui - The guitarist, but his drums skill is higher than guitar skill. S is grouchy, lead the discordant band. He also the oldest (middle-aged). He's 1980s (maybe) gothic style
Vincent "Asesino" Ramirez - The pianist with sexy smile, he isn't necessarily the most handsome but must be the most sexy. VR is bad-temper and mysophobic. He's Victorian gothic style, I recently found he's looks a bit like young Ville Valo (both only with makeup)
Xiwu "Poisoner" Lan - The bassist, a black magic witch. L is werid, and she has a crush on most sexy VR. Her appearance was inspired by the morphidae butterfly.
Yutang "Arsonist" Qi - The drummer. Q's mental development is seriously delayed, so he became the stirrer of the band. His appearance was inspired by the hooded killer. Wuren Sang? You said Wuren Sang?
I plan to create a household for TS4 when I start play TS4 again. It will be a small clique of few rabid fans, one of them called Pseudocommando Apachito (yes, real name), he's the son of two of my sims in TS3, Sinclair "Sarin" Apachito and Boyana Tsvetanova.
In the start of my story, Sarin and Boyana just acquaintance. Now it's near 6am in my time zone, continue tomorrow

A 7 year old memory from FB. This family was so much fun! I can't remember how many generations it went but Wogan Hemlock and Bert Littler were the founders. Wogan's genes were strong!
