This sherbet has been part of my family's Thanksgiving tradition for three generations. We eat it along with the rest of the meal...the tangy, creamy flavor complements the turkey and all the trimmings.—Carol Lydon, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Orange Sorbet is such a very beautiful and warm bathroom! @luckyheather The orange colour scheme to reflect orange sorbet is very lovely! It is very nice that you posted an inspiration picture and the recipe Very nice design and layout! The orange sorbet and white vanilla colour of the furnishings, walls and flooring is very nice! Very nice patterning of the wall and the floor! Laura will enjoy sitting in the vanilla massage chair having a relaxing massage with her feet on the stool. The design of the double sinks area is very nice!
I have posted more about your bathroom on the challenge thread.
Thank you so much @rosemow for the amazing review of my Orange Sorbet Bathroom, and thank you for the 'Cool' challenge When I was young my father would by that kind of treat for me and so creating this made me think of those days and I often miss him. I chose that wall cover and then spent hours trying too find things that matched! but it turned out alright in the end So thanks for the fun challenge and now I think an entire Spa like that would be nice. Thanks again for your kind words as always.
Lemon Ripple is a very beautiful bathroom based on the colour of lemon ripple! @chips46 The yellow lemon and vanilla white colour of the furnishings, and the lemon, white walls panelling and vanilla coloured flooring is very lovely! Very nice patterned lemon and white floor rug, and the white floor tiles are very nice. Very lovely design of the sink counter area! The mirror design of the same furnishings on each side of the sink and mirror is very nice! The lemon and white cabinets, white counter ,yellow shelves with white towels on them, and yellow hand towels on the wall look very great! The vanilla candles and the yellow flowers are pretty and calming! The yellow tissue box, and white toothbrushes are homely on the counter. The incense aroma will be lovely filing the room!
I have posted more about your room on the challenge thread.
This French country manor is part of one of my saves where I transformed Cavalier Cove into a sleepy historic town for these Sims.
Just across the bay from Chateau de Thebe lies Manoir de Whittaker. In my game, the Whittakers are one of the branches of the Royal Thebe family. And this is where they reside. Unlike Princess Cordelia's neoclassical summer palace, this stately-ish home is more rustic and intimate—2 BR, 1 butler, 2.5 bath—and is roughly about 1/3 the size of the other chateau. It is still also semi-historically accurate with an early 19th-century flair (except for the toilet paper which I really just had to place otherwise it feels wrong).
I had to use trompe l'oeil to make the build appear grander and more proportionate than it really is (bonus points for authenticity lol). In truth the ground floor is shorter than the main floor but you didn't hear from me.
As usual, there is a focus on the formal garden on the rear of the property; though this manor has just one parterre.
Interior Pics
Entry hall from the ground floor.
The salon. I intentionally watered down the luxury of this chateau compared from the other one. That one is Royal and this is well, Noble lol.
And the dining room.
You: "Kev, why do you have such a loooong table with only two chairs on it?"
Me: "Social distancing."
The French country kitchen. Nothing says "country" more than chickens.
Main floor entry hall.
The central door leads to the study/library. The Thebe family color is periwinkle while the Whittaker's is red.
So much red.
So I made the other bedroom green.
The attic is accessed via a hidden door in the study and could house the butler. Unlike in Chateau de Thebe though, the Whittaker Manor doesn't have a fireplace in the attic. So I just put gin juice in there to keep them warm.
I feel like I've had my fill of dated architecture. Perhaps next time I build, it won't be so...antiquated. Thanks and happy simming!
Manoir de Whittaker is a very lovely and stately family manor home! @orenjiAi Very nice exterior design, and great left and right flights of front stairs! The open shutter windows and the dormers are very nice! Very lovely backyard area with the pretty lavender around the large water fountain area. Very beautiful furnishing of the interior! The entry hall with the black and white patterned flooring, long red carpet and very nice wall hangings, is lovely! Very lovely salon with beautiful blue sofas to sit, relax, chat and have a cup of tea from the teaset. The rich brown wall panelling is lovely! The long dining table in the dining room is very nice! Very lovely kitchen with the special touch of the chicken and eggs! Very lovely study for Sims to enjoy reading books and playing card table games. The furnishings, colour and design of the bedrooms is lovely!
It is a very nice manor home!
TS2 Ruins Of Jumbok IV is a very lovely park for Sulani! It is a very special Sims 4 version of the Sims 2 lot! Very beautiful tropical plants, trees, Citrus plants and flowers! The layout is very nice! Very lovely statue, waterfall and lily pads pool area! It is great there are treadmills to keep fit. Sims will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, and resting on the loungers. Very nice area where they can enjoy cooking on the firepit grill and eat the food at the picnic table. They will enjoy sitting on the stools having drinks from the bar. Sims will enjoy playing chess outdoors. Very lovely and peaceful meditation stool area!
