Just remember to use tab to free up the camera angle and movement. Ctrl and the arrows take you extra low or high as does the q and e keys with control held on. You can use these keys on their own as well. Go into the game and have a play as this will help you become familiar with them.
Also look into downloading the SRWE (simple runtime windows editor) this let's you take much better quality and bigger shots. Read about it here. I'll give you the link.
Yes it's the 2.3.3 for windows one, @jaunty, well that is the one I have, and you're most welcome!
As well as CAS, to use SRWE in-game I play it in window mode, not full screen then I can access it from my bottom task bar when needed. I tend to stick with 3000 x 3000 unless it's a long landscape shot, then I use 5000 x 3000 but you can vary it depending on your shot and how much you want to show.
Looking forward to starting the first assignment when i get back from work later today .
Do we need to post a headshot and bodyshot of our sim or just do the assignment?

I don’t need a head or body shot of your Sim as I wouldn’t be doing a models wall 😊
What about for the first assignment shot, @Spudders_86 what sort of body shot did you have in mind?
If you think a head shot is best then go for it, if you think a group shot works best then get as many Sims in there as possible.
It is completely up to you

Here is a video that will help you learn how to use SRWE. How to use SRWE in Sims 4
I never competed in Sims 2 comps. I wished I had. This comp reminds me of a Sims 3 one I did. 7 Deadly Sins comps are always awesome!
And yay we get to compete against each other again. This should be fun.
