Okay that's weird because when i clicked on one of the alien sims in Batuu, there was an option for flirty introduction. I only did a friendly intro. Afterwards the normal flirty options were there as well. I tried two different sims and same thing.

While at the First Order area my sim had to pee. I clicked bladder in his needs menu and he ran off to an open area, disappeared, and his bladder and hygiene were quickly taken care of. No need to run to the Cantina.

I read in another thread that vampires also don't have any special powers in Batuu. They can't even feed.

The first Sims I took to Batuu were a Vampire and his Alien toddler. Vampires have no power to drink plasma there. Fortunately most of their needs can be filled at The Dwelling. Same with toddlers.

You can buy family meals at the rabbithole eateries, so was able to feed my toddler that way. Toys are available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.

You can’t ‘freshen up’ on the tents in the resistance forest. When you auto solve bladder or hygiene it comes up with freshen up in the action queue but just stays stuck. Bug me thinks!

You have to freshen up in the rabbitholes.

I was able to auto solve hygiene and bladder in the Resistance area. My Sim sort of disappeared into the woods, but the queue showed one of the Resistance's tents. They were pretty desperate when I tried this (was just curious to see what would happened), so.... Haven't played enough to know if that's a factor.

I sent a homeless teen there and his grades were fine. He was an A student with enough vacation days.

Good to hear you can buy toys. It is a a nice touch and helps if you can't bring them along in your inventory.

You do bring back every item you gained while there

If you got l let's say a light sabre and bring it back with you. Can you take it with you on a second trip to Batuu or does it get removed from your inventory with all the other items, which means you have to buy a new one each trip?
You can only wear the new clothes on Baatu. Not even any of the Star Wars themed ones from before this pack.

I was afraid this might be the case. Thanks for confirming it. I wish our played sims could wear whatever we want.
Just discovered that spellcasters can't use magic on Batuu :( there goes my plans for pretending my spellcaster is a jedi...

Too bad. :( I wonder what the reason is behind this restriction.

I was not happy about that at first, but thinking about it do make sense. If I brought my most powerful Sims there, magicians, scientist and vampires they would sail through the game, there would be no challenge

When I used my sim to play test the objects placed outside the Resistance cave he received a "being watched" buff from the Resistance, next thing ya know he was being escorted back to the edge of the area, loading screen, and back at the Black Spire something. He was warming his hands at the fire pit people. No harm being done. Just trying to make sure you guys had some additional amenities! Can't be nice to no one these days! lol

    So becareful :)

Not really. To sail through with no challenge you just need a human sim with some programming skill. Add wellness teleportation if you want to move a bit quicker. I've installed Zer0s mod to let my occults be occults in Batuu and the difference really is that I can have my usual fun of messing with the npcs who I take a dislike too, (looking at you Townies). I suppose transportalate or mist form would speed up moving round but is that really such a huge advantage that the entire of the occult population needs to be disabled? Let players play how they want to.

Dazed sims suck at light saber training. Every other zap gets thrust.

Your astromech droid's Shock Protocol interaction can fail and, when it does, your droid will short out & need to be repaired.

If you place a bookcase or the Outdoor Retreat supply station in Batuu, your sim has to use galactic credits to purchase from them and it goes into your inventory ready for use.

This happened to me, tried to get my droid to do this to help me when I got arrested by the first order, but it backfired 😂

I don't know if this was mentioned, but there is more than one bartender as the bar at one time. Is this possible at any bar?

There is more than one bar object in the cantina, two bars make up the half circle bar so I believe that is why there are multiple bartenders.

So if you have two bars in any bar, two bartenders will be there at the same time. :) I didn't know that.

What happens if you remove parts (including bottom) from your Batuu outfit?
Can you switch sides after reaching rank 5? Are ranks gallery compatible or do they get reset?

I built more than "a tiny" bathroom. There's plenty of space to build entire apartments. I particularly like the resistance cave. :)

Journey to Batuu sucks. I was a fool to buy the pack. They should've spent energy on bunkbeds lmao.
