I've posted about this in a few other places, but the build I've been working on is finally complete and to my liking.
Main Entrance
Main Living Quarters
Bathroom
Kitchen
Floor Plan
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I know it may also seem a little bare, but §20,000 will only stretch so far, and I specifically wanted this build to be starter home friendly.
I do wish that we had some Star Wars inspired plumbing and appliances though, because I think it would make the kitchen and bathroom blend in a bit more.
Sims 4 Wish List:
> Option to toggle on/off random townie generation.
> Turn vacation worlds into residential worlds.
> Option to purchase separate worlds or a world pack.
I'm finding all of these Batuu inspired homes to be everything I was hoping for with the pack. I've converted 4 lots to Batuu homes in Oasis springs and it looks great.

I know she's making fun of it, and not including a bunch of the necessary build elements will break the game, but Lilsimsie trying to turn the First Order base into yet another blue suburban home is kind of hilarious.
So, I wanted to check if the Droid Workshop from debug would still work in the home worlds and it does. You do need galactic credits to buy the droids, but you can buy toy robots and scrap metal with simoleons. Anyway, I added a workshop next to it where you can build regular robots and because the lot was feeling a little empty I also added a karaoke bar.
@crockatail wow, who would have thought it would work anywhere? That looks great!
I wonder if all the rabbitholes would work elsewhere? We could replicate an entire Batuu lol.
@simm621 that looks fab! But what is a moisture farm and which film is it from?
Thanks. Moisture farms were on Tatooine. People on Tatooine farmed water on a moisture farm, because it being a desert planet water was hard to come by. From the film A new hope. Luke Skywalker lived on one and that's where he first appeared in the movie.
No screenies, because I haven't actually placed or played it yet, but mixing Journey to Batuu with my first Game Pack, Spa Day, I just produced my weirdest room ever.
Three words: Huttese Luxury Sauna. I have uploaded it to my Gallery. (Twi'lek masseuse not included.)
I have some Star Wars builds & my Star Wars households are in the Gallery. As well as my Doctor Who, Stargate SG1, Star Trek & other unusual builds & households. Players can find my creative builds & households under SEREFRAS.
You can use them in your game but please remember to thank me. I always remember to give credit where credit is do when I find something in the Gallery or online I mention where it came from.
I just came across this awesome steampunk style build from Simproved, using only the basegame and Star Wars packs. It's not a Star Wars themed build specifically, but it blew me away how she built this place and decorated it.
I haven't actually started any build projects yet because I'm still having fun going through the missions (although I have added some things onto Batuu lots to fill my sim's needs easily), but I'm totally adding this house into my Batuu/sci-fi themed Strangerville town once I do start building in my new save game! Now I just have to look up how to do that teleport cheat thingy because I don't want to be climbing a ladder for half an hour to get up into the balloon house....
This is the biggest house I've ever built, I really like it for a good builder this would probably have been a nice tiny speedbuild but I am not great at this so it has taken me forever. But I had fun and that is the main thing!
Tiny little pond on the right that gives some nice natural light through the windows in the basement downstairs.
Ha ha, I like that the telescope doesn't look out of place up on the roof. It is huge but on this build it works. A nice little balcony with a rocking chair and some shade for my elder smuggler.
Parent's bedroom at the top. Living room in the other house. A 1-sim apartment that I will use for guests in the household or for the oldest teen.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the upper house. Dining room, kitchen and two bathrooms in the lower house.
Laundry room, closet to play in, toys and a bathtub in one basement. It has nice natural light from the pool and is situated below all the house in which the family sleeps.
The other basement is below the tower. It is the main crafting-room with juicing, robotics and fabrication. Since I play them as a nice little crime-family I added the tactical screen so that they can keep track of shipments. There is also something to do for teens and kiddos, they are part of the family after all.
I couldn't get the round bar to work so it got changed to the little one instead. No kiddos here, I added a door down into this basement just so that I can lock it and keep them from coming down here. A bar, gambling, karaoke and bowling is how you keep your spirits up over here.
And now I see a window that I forgot the correct so it is at a different height than the other windows in that room. Honestly, it's like sending in a report/job-application and then finding the last typo that neither you nor your husband could see when looking through it a last time.

I highly recommend adding living quarters to one of the three open lots.
It really helps with immersion.

Great to look at though! Thanks for sharing here.
Inside the Cantina I added the science lab and art table for kids.
Made a stairway to go below.
Added a robot station, kitchen, couple of sleeping quarters, tent, bars, kitchen, kid's play area, bots, hot tub, and garden. All still a work n progress. Spa Day chair and massage table does not work in Batuu. I wish we could paint the ceiling.
When I placed the crops for planting, Hondo and another sim automatically came by to plant them. Also, since it costs galatic credits to purchase seeds (i used build/buy) Perhaps you can sell to gain galactic credits? I'll test it some day.

It's all just for atmosphere.
The BB unit helps a lot. He's functional.
I was going to rip out the old Get Famous set, but it was already looking Star Warsy.
I simply added Journey to Batuu content to it.
This is the area where my cosplayers create their outfits.
It's really cool that the First Order console is functional.
It's nice but...
This is why I created this.
By the way, Melonie and Olivia are my favorite sims of all time.
Melonie, since TS3,
Olivia, since TS4 base game.
Olivia finally wins one.
I was hoping the could dual up here, but it's not big enough.
They should be able to practice with a drone and also use the acting marks.
Townies might become annoying.
I set up a creative Nap since Del Sol Valley is supposed to be Hollywood for The Sims 4.
Time to repeal that NAP.
Now if I can just get them to eat at the same table and the same time.
