    I can't play any households after the new update (July 2020 Update)

    I just updated my game and when I tried to load my household, it said that an error had occurred and to restart my game. I removed all of my mods and cc, tried to repair the game through origin and downloaded the sims 4 legacy version just in case it was because my PC is old, but whenever I hover over a household it just comes up with a blue block and I try to press play but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

      When you load a save, try recovering an earlier save from before you did the update. Also, try deleting the localthumbcache.package file in the The Sims 4 folder.
