As I mentioned in the April community survey, EAxis mostly does them when they're in the design/pre-production phase for new content and want to see which one of them the player base wants. Or in the most unlikely case they want to pinpoint a release date and the survey exists to help with the marketing campaign.
So it's safe to say that we can cross these topics from the Roadmap EP and GP (We still might get them after October tho):
-Werewolves (Because body hair was mentioned in the CAS category and it would be weird to see EAxis release werewolves without the body hair patch)
-Anything Apocalyptic pack (Because scars and burns were mentioned)
-Romance GP (They were mentioned both in the January survey and now the April survey. Which means EAxis is thinking about it but still not sure)
-Disabilities (Prosthetics were mentioned in CAS but we didn't get a pack idea.... unless they want to add them with the Growing life issues thing?)
-Baby update (They said in the roadmap post that we won't get any game changing updates... duh)
-Winter resort GP/EP (in January survey we got the idea, now we get a world suggestion.... we may get it as the November EP)
-NPC story progression, Emotions, More relationship types, more activities for children and toddlers etc. Basically anything generations related. So no Generations EP.
-The survey mentioned both Italian Vineyards and Chineese countryside.... so not more than 2 vacation destination packs
Is it possible theyd do a world adventures pack, with all of the mentions of different destinations? most of the vacation packs have been pretty vague, but the specific mentions around the world make me expect that as the EP--or a future game/EP

Well idk since we have jungle adventure but we might have more adventure on Vacation lots but I also want a relaxing vacation for my sims their getting too stressed out about work every I'm just like 🐸🐸🐸🐸 ok we need vacay lol.

The New Expansion Pack has got to be a Minecraft rip off pack. It's gotta be! Not just farming, but mining for precious ores and building materials. No more day jobs for my sims. My cash flow comes from the ground. Deep down in the ground. Then, late at night zombies, skeletons, vampires, and creapers attack. Dont worry, I made diamond armor and custom steel doors. Whether I use my trusty diamond sword or nifty crossbow, I will defend my Sim household! Maybe?
I’ve seen a few people mention historical theme such as medieval or renaissance or even “roaring twenties”. I would LOVE any kind of historical theme but how would it be possible when I townies can travel from neighborhood to neighborhood? Your sim is in the middle of King’s Landing sword fighting when all of a sudden Bob Pancakes come strolling in his shorts and t-shirt. I just don’t see how it’s possible to separate your historical neighborhood with the modern people unless I’m missing something, if so please tell me.
They could just say that the people in the historical town choose to live that way. I would love a farming pack with a medieval twist.
TS3 won't play on Vista or lower anymore cause Origin no longer supports Vista. Without Origin you can't play TS3.
I looked it up and you if you still want to run TS3 on Windows Vista, you can still play it on an older version of Origin, but not access new features of Origin.
"With the release of the new Origin, Origin has made it clear that they’ve dropped support for older operating systems going forward. If you are still running on Windows Vista or older, you will still be able to play your games, but you will not have access to new features.
What does this mean? It means that you can still use an older version of Origin to download and play your current games, redeem codes, and make in-game purchases, but you will have to use the online Origin Store to make purchases and change your account settings."
Ah okay! I think this is a moot reason not to play TS3 through. Windows XP came out in 2001 and Windows Vista came out in 2006. TS3 came out in 2009 so those OSs were included in its minimum specs. But now we're in 2020 - who still uses those operating systems for their computers to play games on nowadays? Lol!
They can also move to an older version of Origin if they want to hang on to their Windows Vista.
I think people are just desperately reaching. TS3 is still the better game. It simply has more fun gameplay and activities than TS4. A much better value for your money!

No Origin recently did away with the older version of Origin I forget the name but it will no longer work on that version for Vista or lower. I got a pop-up about it.
Why would you get a pop-up about that? Are you still on Vista? I never get that pop-up. Also, the download for the old version of Origin still works - and that download is directly from Origin.
I think I remember reading somewhere that a Guru had indicated Amusement Parks would not be happening. Which is a shame, I'd love it. Even with Sims 3, just taking content not stability into account, it and more exercise/sports activities were the only main things missing in that game. I was hoping they'd be able to do it for Sims 4. But hey, just because they said that then does not mean it can't change in the future.
TS3 has a lot of exercise/sports activities:
1) The usual gym equipment - treadmill, push up bar, muscle machine. Sims can also work out using TV or radio.
2) Sims can jog, ice skate in frozen lakes and rinks, skate in rinks and travel by skates (with mod).
TS3 has a lot of stuff people are waiting for in TS4. So get TS3 to play while waiting for the stuff in TS4!

Sure you can still play TS3 - in Steam! That doesn't require Origin.
Steam stopped supporting XP and Vista last year.
It turns out you can still use Steam in Windows XP and Vista after all so you can still play The Sims 3 on it! Here's the tutorial with link to the old version of Steam that still work in XP and Vista. Also read the comments under the video fro more information on it. As of today, June 15, 2020, this still works!

i hope that the next gamepack could be horse riding ,or winter vacation with hotel management.
i really hope that the next EP will be a farming one, with cow, chicken etc. i want llama or sheep to fit with the knitting stuff pack. with the opportunity of having a shop on your land without buying 2 terrains... like i do when i do a coffee shop or something like that.
Equitation? Horses? Training school and competition jumping etc., That was one of the themes to be voted on in one of those polls earlier this year (or was it last). Isolation has got to me!
I wouldn't mind a sports pack though, with skiing, volleyball, horses - as above or even Golf as we had in Sid Meier's Sim Golf. I loved that little game.

I think your guesses about winter pack, horse pack and farming pack are goodand valid and I agree.
There actually was a toddler with a tricycle in the remiscence-action in the stream. I think a generation pack is coming! It might not be this year, but it will be coming.

Let's not forget that the new GP is something they have never done before. We had horses and riding competitions before. They also did vacation and resorts before (they added the option to have a snow vacation in TS1). They did generations before. So this is not going to be it.
But it could be a baby GP with fully fledged out babies, a new life state "baby" after new borns or it could be a go to school pack with preteens (active schools have never done before - if they are done, I hope they include preschools and elementary schools too, not just high schools for preteens/teens). It could also be a farming GP (there was never the option to have real farm animals - TS3 farming option from the store wasn't real farming). Also remember the cats in the roadmap picture, so there could definitely be something with animals coming our way.

Yeah ! that's true!
Maybe, in this GP we will be able to go to school with the kids.. and they will add the option of being an active professor ? with daycare.. i know we had daycare in the sims 3 , but they we're in your house, maybe this time they will be on their own land , i don't know.. i'm too much curious lol

Music , i like it. but we already have new instrument , and that's not new , we had some in the VIP in the sims 3.
and for the EP , i would love to manage a garage and station , with cars , moto etc. having to do some repair as an active job or something could be fun.

Sims 3 fast lane... gave the ability to create garages and gas stations. If they do bring back cars, which I hope they do, I def want the fix-up car to make a return.

i didn't have those 2 , good to know that they did that once. but , it's not ''brand new stuff'' like they are saying for the next GP.

We did have a stuffpack about cars in TS3 yes but it was mainly on decorating garages and on different car decor. We haven't really had a pack on cars that focuses on driving them,mechanic careers,car washes etc so I could see a Gamepack on cars happening.
