Why do you want them to focus on that and not TS4? I already have TS2 Ultimate Edition and The Sims is now so old it kind of not worth going back to.

Well some are not that luckily. We like playing older games for nostalgia purposes. The games we just want to be able to buy them on origin.

I get that but why The Sims? I can understand wanting TS2 because I still love that game. But The Sims is just so outdated and weird to go back to even if it had the best vacation pack ever.

Again the nostiga factory. The game is heavily outdated, but it's still a part of sims history.

    I never played Sims 1 or 2. But I've always enjoyed Sims 3 & 4.

I would love a reboot of both games.... if it not too much to ask for a little upgrade in graphics to help with compatibility issues... I miss these games and wish I still had access to the content from the sims2 store edition!

I'm curious about Sims 2; what exactly did the game have that was never in Sims 3 & 4?🤔

Well they have wants, and fears.Town houses , grocery stores, and personality points. The game is nostalgia, the sims look low grade. But they still have more expressive animation.

I would be very happy to be able to play Sims 2 again. I miss it so much! The language was like a real language, not silly talk.

@SERVERFRA Your sims had memories that influenced what they talked about. If they had recently met someone new they would gossip about them. If a sim broke up with another sim and they had seen it, they would gossip about it with other Sims.
The had a memories panel with positive and negative memories. They were marked as either positive or negative depending on every sims individual personality.

The Sims had interests they would talk about, if their interests didn't match with another sim you could either change the topic of the conversation to much the other Sims interest or just end up not liking them. Interests also had unique animations. If a sim liked rockets for example and talk about them, he would make rocket sounds.

They had complex relationships that consisted of two bars, the short term bar and the long term bar. The short term bar showed how much they liked the sim at the moment of socialisation and the long term bar raised the more often you met with that sim and build a long term relationship.
Also if a sim had been cheated on or been in a fight with another sim, they would be "furious" at the sim and would be angry at them for several days.

Sims also mourned loved ones for a longer time, sometimes waking up at night to cry, sims had mental breakdowns if they weren't achieving their goals. They had unique wants and fears based on their aspirations.

Also the Sims 2 came with the most iconic neighborhoods and premade Sims in the whole franchise. You know, those sims that EA has been constantly remaking in every game since then since no other premades ever surpassed them.

Cool! They should put all that in Sims 4.
