    @trashbinsouvenir , wasn't sure if you saw my last post, but do you like to be surprised at the end or would you like to see a few sneak peeks?

    How do you feel about this idea? I thought that maybe your sim might like a touch of Japanese decor since your sim is half Japanese, so I did the reading room in that style. But the room definitely looks out of place, lol. It's not open to any other area, so it doesn't conflict with the other style, but do you like this idea or would you prefer it to be done like the rest of the house? Thanks!

    I'm so sorry, my laptop is giving me troubles so took me a bit to reply- a single sneak peak is always fun!

    I definitely don't mind a room out of place, especially a reading room/study type. And I really like the thought of a Japanese/Asian influence in the house. : )

    @trashbinsouvenir , hope your laptop is better! And I'm glad you were on board putting in a bit of Japanese decor. :)

    A sneak peak and a couple more questions here.

    @trashbinsouvenir , It appears that you may still be having laptop issues since I haven't heard from you for awhile. I went ahead and finished up your house. You can find pictures, info and the download link on our dna thread here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/17558122/#Comment_17558122

    I hope you like!!

    @Sandraelle:

    Hiya :) thank you so much for taking this on first of all and yeah I immediately fell in love when I saw it ^_^.

    1. I think I'll start with a 40x40 lot, will this size be ok if I can make the pool fit? - yes that's completely fine
    2. Would you mind letting me know which worlds you DO NOT own? - Dragon Valley and Monte Vista
    3. You said you own most of the store, so am I able to use whatever I want, or do you want to send me a list of the things you DO NOT have? - I own the whole store as of today :D
    4. As you requested, I will do the light blue exterior with a pink door. So for the interiors, do you want me to decorate it similarly to what's in the pictures? If so, are the color schemes shown in the photos to your liking, with the exception of the orange accent color? Do you have a preference for a substitute color? If it's possible to have it decorated similiar that'd be great but don't mind if not. I'm not too keen on the plain white of the living area so maybe a sandy brown? pastel beach colours if that makes any sense :sweat_smile: but I don't mind if you want to put your own input into it :)
    5. The studio/bedroom4 above the garage shows it as a studio, but since you want 4 bedrooms, do you prefer for that to be the girl's or the boy's bedroom? Speaking of bedrooms, do you want single beds or double beds? Girls bedroom and single beds please
    6. Do you like to see work in progress pictures along the way, or do you like to be surprised at the end? Surprised at the end please

    @Kylieb191 , Thank you so much for your speedy response; this info is very helpful! Yay, that you own the store!!! That's good that the two worlds you don't own won't be a factor for this style of build. :) I'll let you know if I think of any other questions. :)

    @Kylieb191, I thought of something already, lol. Does your sim family have the kids yet? If so, can you share a bit about what their personalities are like? Like are they into sports or music, etc, that kind of stuff? I know you said for the nursery you want it to be gender neutral. Thanks!

    @Kylieb191 , hi there. Thank you for the info about the kids. So for the boy's child/teen room, this baby hasn't been born yet I take it?

    EDIT: Sorry, I'm getting myself confused, lol. Just to clarify: upstairs bedroom for Maria, gender neutral nursery for Eliana, and unborn boy gets the boy's bedroom? :D

    @Sandraelle

    1. I do love a good powder room so i'm good with that, If possible could you put in the world adventures skill books in a bookcase please if possible, if not no worries ^_^

    2. I wouldn't have thought of the greenhouse but do like that a lot and yes I am a sucker for fencing lol.

    3. They can add them themselves :)

    Haha read the first one wrong but all sorted

    Thanks for your speedy response! Ok good....I thought if they were working out or playing games down there, they would need a bathroom as well, lol.

    There are two bookcases, one in the living room and one in the master, so I added all skill books to them, as I don't know how to add skill books by EP. Is there another trick for that? lol I used NRASS to get all the skill books in there. :)

    I think I gave your sims lots to do in the backyard. Besides the greenhouse, there's an outdoor kitchen with outdoor dining and seating, there's of course a pool with a slide, a diving board and a waterfall, a covered hot tub, and a fire pit. And in the basement, there's a gym, the powder room, a bar, pool table, ping pong, darts, chess and another tv area. Can you think of anything else, or do you think I have too much? lol

    EDIT: Oops, I forgot I also have bookshelves in each child's room, lol. Should I leave them as is? I did add the toddler books to the nursery.

    Haha yes! otherwise there will be a lot of pee puddles haha.

    Ooh that's lovely, I will say they are a family of readers which came down from Mia's family. Haha yes! otherwise there will be a lot of pee puddles otherwise haha. I'm not too sure tbh, I think there's something so you don't have to go to the worlds to get them ahha will figure out ^_^ thank you :D Mia is the overachiever so trying to get other skills up to 10 :D.

    Oh my gosh I dont know which part i'm excited for, the house itself or the garden! Lol, Mmm I think you've got all bases covered and I think my sims will be very very happy and definitely won't be bored!.

    Lol yes leave them as is as I always get my adult sims to read to my child sims :)

    [Edit: I have found a mod for the WA books which i'm now downloading ^_^)

    @Kylieb191 , Oh I'm so glad you're excited for the house!! At least if you decide to switch out the bookshelves for different ones, you'll have the mod to add in the skill books. :)

    The only other thing that came to mind for the backyard was maybe a play area for the kids? I don't have room for it as it is now, but if you really wanted a small playground, I can possibly reconfigure the yard to make room. Just let me know. :)

    LOL, are you sure? If you really want a play area, I can make it work. I can just extend the backyard to go around the one side of the house a little bit. It's your house, so I want you to have everything you want. :)

    I'm very close to getting done so I will keep going and you can think about it and let me know for sure on the playground, hehe! :p

    @Sandraelle Oh my gosh!! it's absolutely perfect and more! The little details you've put in that I couldn't have even thought of just makes it look so complete and I actually love that you thought of their favourite colours and traits and encorporated that into their rooms and even more so that you went with the spice brown and pink it works so well. I'd honestly love to jump into the game myself instead of my simmie's having all the fun lol.

    I'm over the moon with it and you've captured the house perfectly! currently me (lol):
