What Happens to a Lot When the Last Sim Dies?

I’m currently playing a household with two sims who are almost elders and don’t have kids within the household. What will happen when they both die? Is it safe to move someone else in to transfer the second gravestone to the graveyard? Could I just bulldoze the lot? I know that deleting gravestones can cause corruption, so I need to know what a safe solution would be to manage the leftover grave.

    Hi :)
Don't bulldoze the lot. It's the same as deleting the graves.
You can move someone in and I believe you can move the graves to a graveyard community lot or leave them there. Or just leave the lot alone.

Havent played TS2 in a minute, but if I remember correctly, once all your sims die, you'll get a notification that all your sims have died and it'll bring you back to the main world. Everything will stay on the lot as it was before the sims died, gravestone and all. If you're trying to move the gravestones to a graveyard, I'm pretty sure you can move in another sim and add the gravestone to their inventory, and move it that way.
