Ghosts having fun/misbehaving

I can't be the only one who lets their sims die and then keeps their headstones on the family lot. I love to watch what my dead sims get up to when they visit - and they visit often!

I currently have four headstones on the family lot. Here are some pics of my ghosts and what they get up to. I would love to see pics of your ghosts

Jason was the only sim who autonomously used the Karaoke machine while alive and I was thrilled to see him continue the tradition

Extended family live next door and my ghosts often wander over to socialize

Wow, your ghosts look like they are still having the time of their lives

! I have worked extremely hard on beautifying my graveyards so my Sim families can 'visit' their loved ones there. But, after seeing how happy your Sims are I may have to rethink that decision. Thanks for sharing this.

@mw1525 The only way I can allow my sims to die is to know that they are still part of the household so headstones are always kept. It can get a little noisy in the house when they are all haunting but, thanks to a no reaction to ghosts mod, my sims sleep soundly through it

When new kids are born that never met their ancestors they get woken when they are children to meet them

The one time I allowed Baby Steel to become a ghost she would not leave the swimming pool alone. She kept the entire household awake with her midnight dips. In the end the gravestone had to go which really upset Christopher who was still alive. However that night he was snoring along with the rest of them

Thanks to a mod my sims are never bothered by visiting ghost. Even having his bed shaken for over a sim hour didn't disturb Lou's sleep

I saw Eddy across the street while I was watching Joey finishing up the gardening and was surprised. Although he's the most likely to wander on his visits he doesn't go further than the house next door.

I don't know where he was trying to go but he didn't get far before poofing back to his headstone.

Was just about to close my save for the night and saw three ghosts had arrived. I only heard one of them so was surprised when I looked up and saw three!

@Mikezumi Glad to see that Leo got to meet Jason. It seems like it's common for younger generations to have to meet their grandparents and beyond that way.
Must have been the weekly ghost meeting, lol. I'm not sure exactly how the game chooses what ghosts appear or how many but it's always nice to see the older generations again.

This was a recent photo of my founder appearing in the family graveyard. Emily Jones is to the far right and her son Eric and daughter-in-law Fawn are reacting in disgust to her, even though they are ghosts too. Then I realized I hadn't extracted the ghost reaction file from the RAR file so now it should work again.

And a closer look at Emily's ghostly form. All my deceased Sims so far are old age ghosts as I try to be careful and keep my Sims save from anything but that type of death.

The no reaction mod is a must in my game (and probably yours) if you like to have ghosts hanging around

My sims only die of old age as well and I enjoy seeing them as ghosts because it makes their earlier deaths easier.

In Pleasantview's Goth House, Bella Goth was coming out of the family grave from time to time. Here she is meeting her son Alexander, who was still a child at that point.

She was also visiting Mortimer in his bed, which he wasn't too thrilled about

This is much later, where she lay down for a nap in Alexander's bed, who was a teenager then.

He often woke up and fled the bed in those cases, but here, everything turned out fine.

@Mikezumi You're welcome. I like having ghosts around, although I usually need a cemetery if I get too many on the lot, lol
It really does, at least that way you can still see them.

Aww, that's sweet that Bella wanted to be with her son.

Well...in my Chikamori Legacy (the one I started way back...)

Here is Mayumi being her evil self torturing one of Yasunobu's brothers.

The Watcher giving Mayumi what-for...with a much-needed (but not sure if it really did anything constructive to Mayumi's temperament) lightning strike.

Well, evidently, enlightenment on the other side had told Yasunobu that marrying Mayumi in the first place was a BIG mistake. So he shied away from her when seeing her in the nether realm.

Meditation always helps calm one's nerves...even if you as a spectral entity don't have any...physical nerves...

I don't know if the floating onion is very obvious but I saw it moving and zoomed in for a closer look and discovered that Eddy was haunting the plant

All of my ghost sims have been dead in my simstories. Most of them are just floating, the first thing Jiuquan appeared is always eating, Dusan sometime truns on the stereo

And Dusan has a luxurious graveyard

The 1-star celebrity Lianhuan's is even not as luxurious as him

Others are a classic tombstone and flowers combination. Shion has a cherry tree, Wuren (actually empty) has three rose bushes, Ingvar's is disguised as a garden (he has a small tombstone), Liviu's is cover by some flower bushes
