I’m doing the 7 toddler challenge but i think i’m Going to keep going until they all have a Uni degree. They’re now all teens, so I have built them a dorm-like house. There’s a bathroom and ‘lounge area’ (just a mini fridge, sink, microwave, coffee machine, Tv, bookcase, desk and some skill building items in each) per 2 bedrooms. The mum ‘runs’ the main kitchen area and in there there’s some fun items like ping pong and an actual kitchen with the little fridge object that came with GTW that you use in shops. It’s helpful because it works as an open plan fridge so I don’t have all of them waving their arms saying someone else is using the fridge😂Also helps when they’re toddlers and they can reach I’m there to get food. It’s like a fridge countertop. I highly recommend.

Hopefully changing their relationship status will put a stop to their shenanigans. Is that due to a mod? If so, it sounds interesting!
Judd Hudson's time as my tester Sim for the Eco pack is pretty much complete. He has a three story fully furnished repurposed shipping containers house now with two balconies and it's been fully landscaped. A big help with being able to do all that was his investment in Bess for her future business. He gave her a total of 3K and she gave him half her profits once the business took off, 25K! Was not expecting that! \o/ He's completed the Maker aspiration and made everything he can on the fabricator, plus completed most all the other goals I had for him to test. I've moved on to a new Sim to test a few other things in the pack.
Lana Pickett will also live off-the-grid Rags to Riches style and furnish her home with whatever she can find from dumpsters. But unlike Judd, she won't be fabricating anything, so can buy whatever can't be found in dumpsters. I might have her make some candles though. I love the candles, but they take so much time to make. She won't be placing any Eco objects either since her lot has the Geothermal and natural spring water traits. She can also gather water from a fishing spot across the road.
This Sim also has the Freegan trait that supposedly helps her get better stuff from the dumpster. Not so sure if that's true yet. It seems that Judd found more than she does. At least he found more unburnt things, her's are 80% burnt, only 20% either good or able to repair. The good thing though is Lana has access to ALL dumpsters in every neighborhood since I decided to see what happens when a Sim travels outside the neighborhood. BTW, did you know Conifer Station has three dumpsters? Four if you count the one at the Landfill lot before the community space is selected in a vote.
She's also been making a lot of friends to gather influence points to vote for NAPs and the Community center since I didn't cheat those this time. I wanted to test just how glitched out the different NAPs are in the pack. Just in case she doesn't win what she's voted for and Sharing is Caring (or Stealing is Appealing as I call it) happens to get enacted, Lana has fencing around her property with a locked gate. So far though she's won everything she voted for; Modern Development, Green Initiatives and the next one up is the Power Shut-off once a week thing. I figure that won't really affect her since she has the Geothermal lot trait.
Lana also has the Friend of the World aspiration which I've never tried to complete. So far it's been pretty easy to do, especially with the 'take photo of' glitch trick. She has a little house now, obviously, but it's no where near complete. It's lacking a toilet (very elusive!), a counter, stove, better bed, dining table, chairs (she has some, just not that good) and decorations. I don't know what she's going to do with all the bits & pieces she's been accumulating, they're only good for fabricating and making candles, right? Do you need those to make fizzy juice?
Speaking of fizzy juice, I've never been able to get any of the machines to work. Every time I tell my Sims to load ingredients, they walk to the machine and then the command just drops out of the queue. Why? My Sims have the ingredients so it should work. There were two at the Maker's space in Port Promise for Judd to use, neither one would work. I read that having two will sometimes glitch them out so I removed one, still didn't work. I placed new ones there and even had Judd buy one for use at home, no go. It's frustrating! I guess I'll just not try that option again until after a new patch is released to fix all the problems. Whenever that happens...

Interesting thing about Judith in Evergreen Harbor. You can talk to her and make her your friend very easily. But, don't try using the 'take photo of' action on her, it won't work. I guess she only wants to give out 'official' autographed photos or use the 'Ask for photo' option. *shrugs* Such a snobby diva!

Everyone had fun carving pumpkins (they have 4 children-2 teen boys, and a boy and girl child age, plus Darling Walsh they adopted:)

I checked over at KS's Discord. Doesn't appear to have anything to do with Slice of Life. Rather, it's due to the latest patch, apparently. Not happily. But, I had the opportunity for Bob to change their relationship status via MCCC to Just Friends. Phew! Let's hope that ends it. I've played this family many times and this is the first time John isn't singularly devoted to Sarah Jane, as he was in RL. Crazy-insane. Sign of the Times, I do suppose.

At first she had a bit of a rough start. I like just letting my sims start with nothing in the pockets on a homeless-lot and work their way up. The new items from the Eco-pack are great for a off-the-grid start in the game. Letting them suffer a bit.
Now she has met her teacher in the art of magic. She will live with him during his elder years, he teaches her magic and the ways of the Magical Realm and she cares for the house and get some skills for life. They are a great pair of sims together.
She even ran into a guy in a cafe that she is dating now. One of my random townies, I had no idea that whey would hit it off but they are so cute together
I am just so glad! Here is the first time that she comes out from the Magical Realm. It has been weeks and weeks of ingame struggle so I really wanted to commemorate it. It's having both the ups and downs that makes it enjoyable for me. Letting my sims struggle a bit and then just enjoy the good times.
Playing, still, in the Sevier household, John is currently out-of-school. He has taken on a part-time job as that's all a teen is allowed to do. He's making a great deal of time for Sarah Jane and the two went to the Geek Festival. Sarah Jane seemed a tad lost about the whole thing, and John entered a contest. He got 70 points, total and won §100.00 for his efforts. The two chatted for quite some time and then John had to head off to work. He tried to escort Sarah Jane back to her home when her father phoned John asking if he wanted to hang-out for a bit. (Even though he was allowed to bring others with him, she wasn't in that group, curiously enough.) John wasn't there very long before he had to bee-bop off to work. John's baby brother Abraham just aged up to toddler. His two little sisters are both in Dame School and doing rather well. His two other brothers, both teens, are also attending the Academy at Staunton. They, too, are holding their own. Crops are good. John made certain he harvested before he weeded, hearing what had happened to the Hawkins' crop after Sarah Jane durst water them. Tragic. They all reverted to mounds of dirt. Some farming lessons come hard. John is quite hopeful, now that his father has gifted him some land, that he will be considered as a suitable husband for Sarah Jane. In the meantime, he's busy building a cabin for the two of them on the Long Meadows …
I’ve been playing in my new eco lifestyle save lately with my «rags to riches» sim Lolita James. She is in the civil designer career though, so it’s not a strict challenge.
I love this sim and watching her progress. She has been grinding a lot.. but now I do sprinkle in a bit more story when playing with her.
Lolita has been making bank with her juice fizzing business.
She went to a karaoke bar with her new friend Alex. They are just friends this far. I’m unsure if they should become more than friends soon..

Lana's been working hard dumpster diving for treasures to furnish her home. Did you know they literally 'dive' into the dumpster? I didn't until I paused at just the right time last night and saw Lana's hands pressed together just before she dove.
For some reason Lana spun into her underwear before getting on her bike after leaving The Caboose to check out a dumpster. It was warm out and very late at night, so no biggie really. She spun back into her clothes when she got off the bike. Hilarious glitch! Hmm, maybe it wasn't a glitch and she was just being herself? Afterall, she does have the erratic trait.
The little house I built for her has all the basics now except one very important object - a counter! Took forever to find a toilet too for some reason. But she finally has one! Yay! \o/ Anyway, I was getting cross-eyed watching her dumpster dive, over and over and over in pursuit of a counter. She has a really nice fridge and a stove, but can only eat quick meals, dumpster meals and bar food. Getting a bit chunky. Thankfully a new food stall opened right across the road from her house and she can get salads now. I feel bad for still pushing her so hard though, even diving during a thunderstorm. Especially when this happened. o.O
Obviously I didn't feel TOO bad since I made her get right back in there. Lana has 20 friends now, over half of them male Sims. She only needs to max out Charisma and she'll complete the Friend of the World aspiration. She even has a 'pristine reputation.' Never had a Sim with that before. It's funny seeing other Sims get excited to see her, clapping and taking her picture, even when she's headfirst in a dumpster. LOL Sheesh!
Anyway, I've decided that as soon as Lana finds a counter and a better bed, she should have a 'friend with benefits.'
Of all the guy friends she has, I've whittled down the possible candidates to the three below. I can't decide which one she should pursue romantically, she likes them all about equally. What do y'all think? Perhaps sending me a message with your choice would be for the best. I don't want to clog up this thread. Thanks so much!
Ridge Everest is currently a Scientist. He was also my first Hero of Strangerville in another save and in the military. I don't remember all of his traits, but I do know he's a loner and creative. I think he might also be a genius. He started out wanting to be a Best Selling Author when I created him and wrote SciFi novels while hiding out in a tiny underground bunker from an alien invasion.
Terence Belle is a Sim I downloaded from the Gallery created by @MaggieMarley Well, he was actually the Sim that was born last and completed her BOTU challenge. His Father is Caleb Vatore and he used to be a Merman. He's unemployed in my game and the only other thing I remember about him is he's hot-headed. But just look at him, he's got such a puppy dog look about him.
Darrel Charm is a premade Spellcaster from the Realm of Magic GP. I think he's supposedly engaged to another premade Spellcaster, Emilia Ernst who lives with him and his family. I haven't seen hide nor hare of her anywhere in my game though. Darrel is also hot-headed, alluring and one other trait I don't remember. I gave the Charms and Emilia a makeover a long time ago so that's why he looks a bit different. BTW, those green stink clouds around him are from Lana, not him.

I play rotationally so I use the calendar to plan ahead.
NPC-day is a holiday so that all households are off from work and I can bounce around and no one will be late for work.
Death... it's because I will play my Lady Death, she runs en retirement home for the elder-sims in my save. I log on, give potions of youth to some elders and flower arrangements scented with death flowers for those sims that has been around for long enough.
Last bit, dogs. I like to make little challenges for myself and my sim wanted to get a dog. So I placed a reminder that I wanted to have more new stray dogs in my save. Dogs that I like, not game-generated. If you put pets in your household and shift-click them you can remove them from your family. Then they will turn up as strays in Brindleton Bay and lots with the right trait. So now they are out there, all those nice dogs from the gallery. Now my sims just have to go out and find them. It's fun this way, I have to keep my eyes open and look for them.
Ha ha, I use the calendar to plan my story in advance all the time. Since you only have a few letters to work with it can get pretty funny sometimes.

I vote for Ridge Everest from Strangerville. If he survived that towns crazy he is resourceful and might value how Lana is by pulling herself up from the gutters. I finally built a spa in Sulani and took a sim there to test out the place. Here's some highlights of her stay.
At first, I made the lot with clothing optional trait but it soon became clear that it's annoying without a mod to remove the censor blur, so I eventually removed that trait.
Some foot massage
The massage table looks inviting too
Outdoor yoga, no one seems to synchronize with the teacher
Then she found an easel in the neighbourhood and decided to do some paintings to take home
The spa is more like a resort, I added honeymoon bedroom for two, with private balcony, and a couple of dining rooms. There is also room for dancing and space to host a wedding. This is the outside dining room.

My Sim has always been stocky but thanks to the Fitness Control mod (and all the cakes his roommates had been making) he’s become a chonky boi. (He’s so adorkable, I love him so much! I<3)

I've been using the First Love mod by LittleMsSam for a long time and never used it to the full until recently and let me just say it is soooo cute! ;~; The Ask to Be Girlfriend/Boyfriend animations are perfect for younger sims.
Anyways. My child sim William Walker has been crushing on Billie Jang for a long time and finally built up the courage to ask her out.
After some contemplating Billie agreed.
His reaction was so cute, I was screaming.
Of course this sequence was not meant for kids so it looked a bit off. I consider it "social distancing at its finest."
They spend their time together playing around like usual, but the little moodlet he gets when being around her is so SWEET.
It would be extra cute for them to stay together as adults, but that will depend on the flow of my gameplay. After all it is true that most people don't end up with their first love... ;~~~;

Thanks for your vote @SilentKitty You have some very good points there for why Ridge and Lana would be a good match. I never even thought about using the Hazmat suit in Evergreen Harbor! That's a fantastic idea for 'realism' if it were possible to figure how to use one. Maybe just play out the mystery until they get the suit and leave Strangerville. Thanks for the idea!

Aww, Thanks @MaggieMarley I think she's very pretty too and I agree about the extra weight. However, she's starting to slim down a bit now. Maybe I should let her eat something besides just salads again. I love Terence! He's so darn cute! Those puppy dog features get me every time! The fact Caleb is his Daddy might help a little too, he looks a bit like him and I love Caleb. I had to makeover Darrell, his original look was just too...off? I'm happy with how he turned out. Thanks!
I'll keep the vote open until Lana finds a counter and better bed, which will probably be quite awhile, if anyone else would like to chime in with who they think Lana should pursue.
Last night not much happened, mostly just more of Lana dumpster diving. However, I did have her try fabricating at little. I wasn't going to but she found three sky blue dyes and that's the color scheme of the furnishings in her house. She made two end tables and a living room chair, the machine broke twice and she got into a fist fight with it too. So funny seeing her put that thing in a head lock, she punched it too! It still won though. Booo! Should've took some screenies of that, but was too busy laughing to think about doing it.
Also, Lana was jogging and I saw something on the sidewalk a ways ahead and when I zoomed in on it, it was a replica for the bust statue of a lady made of clay. It seems NAPS from other neighborhoods are starting to invade mine. I've already seen a few Sims playing with future cubes too. Lana's neighborhood has four NAPS now; Modern Development, Green Initiatives, Power and Water Saving. Those will stick around forever while Lana is in town unless an NPC happens to get one repealed. Even if they do, Lana can easily get it back, she has a ton of votes piled up now from making so many friends.
Lastly, the only other thing of note that happened was the unfortunate sighting of one of my all-time favorite premades, Salim Benali, hanging out at the food stall across from Lana's lot. Why unfortunate you ask? Well, look how the game dressed him. o.O
It's the first day of Winter in my game now and I suspect that's the game's idea of a good cold weather outfit. *sigh* Or maybe that's his 'walk-by' situational outfit. Either way, it's ridiculous! At least he escaped being subjected to the indignity of wearing the dreaded eyeball ring!

For some reason Lana spun into her underwear before getting on her bike after leaving The Caboose to check out a dumpster. It was warm out and very late at night, so no biggie really. She spun back into her clothes when she got off the bike. Hilarious glitch! Hmm, maybe it wasn't a glitch and she was just being herself? Afterall, she does have the erratic trait.
The little house I built for her has all the basics now except one very important object - a counter! Took forever to find a toilet too for some reason. But she finally has one! Yay! \o/ Anyway, I was getting cross-eyed watching her dumpster dive, over and over and over in pursuit of a counter. She has a really nice fridge and a stove, but can only eat quick meals, dumpster meals and bar food. Getting a bit chunky. Thankfully a new food stall opened right across the road from her house and she can get salads now. I feel bad for still pushing her so hard though, even diving during a thunderstorm. Especially when this happened. o.O
Obviously I didn't feel TOO bad since I made her get right back in there.
Anyway, I've decided that as soon as Lana finds a counter and a better bed, she should have a 'friend with benefits.'
Ridge Everest is currently a Scientist. He was also my first Hero of Strangerville in another save and in the military. I don't remember all of his traits, but I do know he's a loner and creative. I think he might also be a genius. He started out wanting to be a Best Selling Author when I created him and wrote SciFi novels while hiding out in a tiny underground bunker from an alien invasion.
Terence Belle is a Sim I downloaded from the Gallery created by @MaggieMarley Well, he was actually the Sim that was born last and completed her BOTU challenge. His Father is Caleb Vatore and he used to be a Merman. He's unemployed in my game and the only other thing I remember about him is he's hot-headed. But just look at him, he's got such a puppy dog look about him.
Darrel Charm is a premade Spellcaster from the Realm of Magic GP. I think he's supposedly engaged to another premade Spellcaster, Emilia Ernst who lives with him and his family. I haven't seen hide nor hare of her anywhere in my game though. Darrel is also hot-headed, alluring and one other trait I don't remember. I gave the Charms and Emilia a makeover a long time ago so that's why he looks a bit different.

I play rotationally so I use the calendar to plan ahead.
NPC-day is a holiday so that all households are off from work and I can bounce around and no one will be late for work.
Death... it's because I will play my Lady Death, she runs en retirement home for the elder-sims in my save. I log on, give potions of youth to some elders and flower arrangements scented with death flowers for those sims that has been around for long enough.
Last bit, dogs. I like to make little challenges for myself and my sim wanted to get a dog. So I placed a reminder that I wanted to have more new stray dogs in my save. Dogs that I like, not game-generated. If you put pets in your household and shift-click them you can remove them from your family. Then they will turn up as strays in Brindleton Bay and lots with the right trait. So now they are out there, all those nice dogs from the gallery. Now my sims just have to go out and find them. It's fun this way, I have to keep my eyes open and look for them.
Ha ha, I use the calendar to plan my story in advance all the time. Since you only have a few letters to work with it can get pretty funny sometimes.
I vote for Ridge Everest from Strangerville. If he survived that towns crazy he is resourceful and might value how Lana is by pulling herself up from the gutters. "Oh... you dive in dumpsters, no problems. I fought a talking monster-plant earlier and was covered in toxic goo. No really, without the hazmat-suit you were done. Wait... you want it? Let me see if I can find it for you!"

At first, I made the lot with clothing optional trait but it soon became clear that it's annoying without a mod to remove the censor blur, so I eventually removed that trait.

Then she found an easel in the neighbourhood and decided to do some paintings to take home
The spa is more like a resort, I added honeymoon bedroom for two, with private balcony, and a couple of dining rooms. There is also room for dancing and space to host a wedding. This is the outside dining room.

Anyways. My child sim William Walker has been crushing on Billie Jang for a long time and finally built up the courage to ask her out.
After some contemplating Billie agreed.
His reaction was so cute, I was screaming.
Of course this sequence was not meant for kids so it looked a bit off. I consider it "social distancing at its finest."
They spend their time together playing around like usual, but the little moodlet he gets when being around her is so SWEET.
It would be extra cute for them to stay together as adults, but that will depend on the flow of my gameplay. After all it is true that most people don't end up with their first love... ;~~~;

Aww, Thanks @MaggieMarley I think she's very pretty too and I agree about the extra weight. However, she's starting to slim down a bit now. Maybe I should let her eat something besides just salads again.

Last night not much happened, mostly just more of Lana dumpster diving. However, I did have her try fabricating at little. I wasn't going to but she found three sky blue dyes and that's the color scheme of the furnishings in her house. She made two end tables and a living room chair, the machine broke twice and she got into a fist fight with it too. So funny seeing her put that thing in a head lock, she punched it too! It still won though. Booo!
Also, Lana was jogging and I saw something on the sidewalk a ways ahead and when I zoomed in on it, it was a replica for the bust statue of a lady made of clay. It seems NAPS from other neighborhoods are starting to invade mine. I've already seen a few Sims playing with future cubes too. Lana's neighborhood has four NAPS now; Modern Development, Green Initiatives, Power and Water Saving. Those will stick around forever while Lana is in town unless an NPC happens to get one repealed. Even if they do, Lana can easily get it back, she has a ton of votes piled up now from making so many friends.
Lastly, the only other thing of note that happened was the unfortunate sighting of one of my all-time favorite premades, Salim Benali, hanging out at the food stall across from Lana's lot. Why unfortunate you ask? Well, look how the game dressed him. o.O
It's the first day of Winter in my game now and I suspect that's the game's idea of a good cold weather outfit. *sigh* Or maybe that's his 'walk-by' situational outfit. Either way, it's ridiculous! At least he escaped being subjected to the indignity of wearing the dreaded eyeball ring!
