War Stories with a little bit of romance mixed in. ~evil grin~
Edit: And don't forget a few psychotic surprises...like their Watcher hurling space-rocks at them. Or frying them with lightning. Hey, the Watcher has to have fun too.

Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~
You know those Disney channel comedy sitcoms where they occasionally run into conflict but it’s just enough for character development and it’s nothing serious enough to be called a dramedy? That.
A romantic sitcom and a buddy sitcom with light drama, a dash of angst and I guess two dashes of fantasy considering I like all walks of life in the game.
My Angel City save plays out like a sitcom, with a dash of romance and every now and then a bit of drama to spice things up. I guess you could call it a period piece too since it's set in a fictionalized version of 90s California, but it's mostly a comedy.
My games are usually stuffed to the brim with supernatural sims, but they're generally just trying to lead normal lives in a mundane world and coexist with humans. So, I may do punk fairies in Bridgeport or celebrity mermaids in Starlight Shores, things like that. There is a dash of sitcom mixed in, though.
I also went with other. Most of mine are slice-of-life. But the new animal crossing gave me a great idea for a survival game, marooned on a deserted island sort of thing. Creating an island as we speak in CAW.
I have a Legend-of-Zelda file too that qualifies as action-adventure. And I have a fantasy file with a witch in Dragon Valley.
Honestly, my Ava Sinclair story falls under several categories but I picked soap opera. As for my Jones/Langerak family save, it'd be comedy, romance, and maybe a bit sci-fi since the family owns a Plumbot and sometimes travels to Oasis Landing.

I basically watch as my Sims follow their own path of development.
