  Are you sure it wasn't a mod? According to the Wiki, the only soup Sims 4 has is Butternut Squash Soup and it comes with Dine Out. https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Cooking_(The_Sims_4)

  I have a sim who lives on an off the grid lot and she can make it on the stove. So I don’t know if it’s strictly linked to the off the grid lot trait or not.🤔

  I have the option to make tomato soup off-the grid on a stove.

  The tomato soup was added in the june patch, so it is a very recent addition. I have seen it in my game as well, the lot I played with was off the grid.

  It’s an off the grid exclusive recipe. You can also enable all other recipes by upgrading your stove and fridge to run off of fuel, and then either fuel them with bio fuel or bits & pieces. Then you can cook both the regular game recipes and the off the grid recipes.

  Can confirm. Definitely made tomato soup on the BBQ with my off-the-grid sim.

  You lovely, wonderful people THANK YOU! So glad I was not going crazy and thinking I just dreamed it up. Shame it is an off-the-grid only food but at least I know how to get it now.
